MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / A good series gone bad
|

Discuss or rant on how the series went downward from your point of view.
I'm currently listening to MRadio, and it was playing the Netopia Streets theme from Battle Network 2.
As you know, the Battle Network series made a drastic fall when it reached BN4. Although it slowly creeped back up the slope from the pit of trash it had become, it still doesn't match how great BN1-3 was.
But only now did I realize the music was also at it's peak at BN3.
All my favorite EXE tunes originate from BN1-3. There are some good ones in the later games, but BN1-3 wins with the music, not to mention other things as well. Better graphics, better music, better stories, better gameplay, etc. Only now do I realize this after hearing a tune that produced such great memories.
What the hell went wrong!?

Oh no, I'm not going to download it anytime soon... it just reminded me that I need Wii points for other games of higher priority.
Like Super Metroid, LoZ:ALttP, Sin and Punishment, etc.
I read on a website that Super Mario RPG was announced for the Wii shop channel. I'm still lookin' for it.

Technically, I haven't played Castlevania either. I've seen portions of a game be played, but never actually got a game in hand.
I seriously need to get more Wii points. I'm 18, so I should go get my own debit card or something.

I played the first Prime.
Beat level one.
... shortly afterwards, I put the game down. I detest Prime, so I wouldn't call it a good game even if it's popular. Hell, I'm not afraid to find a group of Halo fanboys and yell "HALO 3 SUCKS!"
... 'cause it does.

I love it. I eat it for breakfast and it's better than drunken Denny's.

Changing when Zero goes BOOM was another unnecessary change too.
I was actually OK with that, and playing with Vile I saw as an extra. Mainly, I liked the beefed up graphics and such, but what I mostly hate is: - Sigma's motive change. (Story concentrated too much on X)
- Vile's theme CONSTANTLY played in ALL his stages.
- Unnecessary change with Dr. Light's capsule.
- Unnecessary change with Zero's death.
- Unnecessary change with Sigma's death.
- Vile's dialouge. (I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!)
I'm fine with everything else.

It wasn't all that great. The concept was alright. Some skilled samurai that killed a lot of people decides to not kill anymore. He still fights but knocks enemies out cold rather than split them in half. A legendary fighter, one which attracts many other swordsmen to kill such a legend.
I didn't watch it much.

I remember a room in Mchat which u can cover the exit botton and i locked sum1 in there lol those were the gd old days
HAHA! That was the old BN-style arena, I remember locking a lot of n00bs inside and having them beg me before I'd clear the exit. Definitely good days.
HA! I remember that as well. I even remembered how the core looked back then. It was the main place it hang out. I remember the room would reach it's maximum limit of 25 people, and I was stupid enough to leave the room. I could never get back in.

Excuse me, but the only reason I'm making a whole bunch of posts is because you people are mobbing me as to come to his defense. He can defend himself, and we might reach a decent conclusion. If this displeases you, everyone could solve it by, forgive me, butting out.
I don't care about his defense, I'm saying this for my benefit. I don't want to hear this BS.

I'm just saying you're adding more complaints over one measly comment. If you want to make your point across just say it, don't complain about through a bunch of posts that I don't care to read because I'll read the same thing in jest. Complaints.

Let me just summarize this page for you Aych.
Aych: [Insert joke here] Abe: Not funny. Aych: Oh, I'm sorry. You don't have to insult me. Jake: Dude. Stop whining. Aych: I'm not whining, this guy just insulted me. Xero: Who cares? Get over it. Aych: No, this isn't fair, waaahh wahhh.
Seriously. Don't be so dramatic and make a big deal about it.

Kuso Miso Technique (くそみそテクニック, Kuso Miso Tekunikku?) is a one-shot homoerotic manga by Junichi Yamakawa (山川純一, Junichi Yamakawa?) first published in a manga supplement of the gay magazine Barazoku in 1987. ... out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Oh, you're just jealous because you have an avatar that everyone can understand, while mine is awesome and shrouded in a vale of mystery.
It's shrouded in something alright. Oh, a vale you say? A mysterious valley? Does it perhaps contain a river? A river of TEARS? I see now, your avatar is emo. Figures. You see, as you can tell, I'm mocking you just to be an ass. The word you're trying to use is veil. A vale is a whole entirely different word, thus given an entirely different definition. Please use proper vocabulary next time, I no understand you.

Guys, I'm gonna take a nap. In any case I don't wake up... then this is goodbye. There's a good chance that I could be dead, so I won't be able to use the internet.
I'll leave Mike with the address to my house and where to find my will.

Also, recoil for copy ##### is pretty bad. If you want to make it better, shift the legs, but keep the footing the same. I think that will work.
It looks like he's trying to shoot someone off in the distance while backing off someone behind him with his foot. ... like a rock or something.

Well, I had about as much fun in X8 as I did in X2, therefore, my point stays.
Although, I will admit the stages seemed to be missing some things, especially ones that weren't "Mega Man" stages at all.
Hell, Gigavolt Manawar's stage is a joke.

Actually, you can, but it involves a friend.
Find someone who can upload it, put the stage file onto your computer, and send it to them. They can place it on their PSP and upload it as their own.
Only problem, it's uploaded onto their account, therefore the stage is claimed as their own.
Anyway, I've made two new ones. I'm thinking about uploading them.

Dunno about that, but I'd prefer Reploid over Pseudoroid anyway, because it rolls off the tounge better.
Chronoforce sounds alright, but QueenBee doesn't sound creative.
I also hate her VA. This whole post I can read in 15 seconds. QueenBee would probably take up 3 minutes saying this.
