Well #####, then no one is allowed in the Matrix.
3305  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 6 June 2008, 13:22:52
The day just started and I'm already in a the wrong mood.

I'm a High School graduate. I don't do anything now but chores and work, which is exactly what I need to get done today. It's 7:20 AM (not real early, but I sleep in damnit), and my cell phone rings. I ignore it and it goes away, and then the house phone rings so I know it's one of my friends. My mom hands me the phone and I thought "this had better be important".

"Hello?"
"Yeah."
"Bring your Wii to school."
"Why?"
"It's the last day and we want to play it. Bring it to Lunch."
"... No."
"Why not?"
"Hell no. You woke me up. I'm cranky."
"Not even for your friends?"
"Don't play that card on me."

The phone is exchanged and I can tell by the voices who I'm talking to. I say the same thing to everyone. "I'm not unhooking it. You woke me up. I sleep now." Then the phone switches to this guy I know who's a D-bag. I can already tell he's the ringleader of this BRILLIANT idea. If he wanted my Wii, he should've called me yesterday or something when I was awake. I said I'm unhooking it for the graduate party because THAT was planned, not this, so no. That was the end of it.

How dumb.
3306  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 6 June 2008, 13:11:04
John gets it.

There's really only three sections of the stage and they're unevenly divided. Everyone I know fights in the very bottom of the stage for the most part. The stage also looks too busy for my tastes anyway.

If the design was constructed a little different, I'd probably think otherwise. But it IS a decent stage and you CAN fight so it's OK.
3307  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 6 June 2008, 06:02:09
To me, New Pork was Sakurai saying "Hey, Great Temple is an awesome stage. Maybe it's because it's huge. I'm gonna make another huge stage and it'll be awesome too!" and failed.

I don't hate it, but I don't love it either.
3308  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Favorite boss battle on: 6 June 2008, 05:34:21
Well, they were simple names at least. Tomahawk just sounded random to me.
3309  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Favorite boss battle on: 6 June 2008, 05:30:53
Yeah... but.

It's... a Tomahawk.

We haid Air. Heat. Fire. Wood. Metal. Ice. Simple elements.

... then we get a Tomahawk.

Woah, that actually looks really nice. But instead of the black shirt emblazed with "CV Is OK!", you should've left him topless with some pheonix-shaped chest hair. Now that would be picture perfect.

Uh, no. That's just fine, thanks.
3311  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 05:23:45
Awesome.

I don't know whether to use it or put it in an imaginary frame and hang it on a cybernetic wall. I'll probably do the latter.

Meh, well was it really neccessary to call me Miss PMS after you felt offended when I called you a sexist, and I necro-posted, and whatever else so easily offended you?

You see... now I'm slightly aggrivated. I'll say why:

I don't like reading dumb complaints on a forum. How about we all shut up and stop being offended? It's the #####ing internet. You shouldn't be giving a damn. If you're getting offended at what Sano says then you've lost the game.

If you wanna keep continuing this pointless babble then you're never gonna win. NEVER. That's the rule to the net, and a rule to reality. If this makes me sound like a jackass, I don't care 'cause it's the truth. Just stop complaining about what's WRONG and think about what's RIGHT.

If you wanna keep the drama up, by all means, go ahead. I'll just sit back and watch whatever Rez, Xello, Kian, or Abe feels like they should do about it *HINT HINT*.
3314  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Question Concerning Ranking Based On Posts on: 6 June 2008, 04:58:36

There were still nice ideas of Robot Master ideas available and they were used in later games. There was yet to be a Sword Man, Cold Man, Frost Man, etc.

But in Mega Man 6, I just couldn't understand "Tomahawk Man".

3319  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Gamefaqs poll: Surprised me. on: 6 June 2008, 04:26:26
Well, no. They're both video games therefore they share qualities. It's just... Mega Man's popularity and success outweighs Animal Crossing alone, and I can go on about how the gamplay between them differs. What I'm saying, they don't even NEED to be compared, because the gap between them is so huge.

So in that sense, they can't be compared. That's how I see it.

EDIT: Like Rock, Paper, Scissors... except Mega Man is always the Rock and Animal Crossing is always Scissors. The choice is obvious.
3320  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Gamefaqs poll: Surprised me. on: 6 June 2008, 04:17:03
MegaMan and Animal Crossing aren't even comparable. It's no two sides of the same coin, it's not even apples and oranges. It's like comparing a leather shoe to a length of telephone cable. They don't even relate.

They kinda are, but it's FAR too one sided.

Kid: I has orange tree.
*Tree blows up*
Mega Man: I has Napalm Bomb.
Kid: ;__;
3321  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Gamefaqs poll: Surprised me. on: 6 June 2008, 04:01:56
That's why I never bought the Gamecube one. Wild World is great if you have nothing else better to do and you're on a bus ride to/from school.
3322  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 03:59:58
That post will suffice.
3323  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 03:57:06
Well, it was mostly the card game fanatics that kept it alive at school. Once they all graduated, stopped playing, or switch to Magic, everyone else stopped playing. By my Junior year, there were more card fanatics coming in as Freshmen, but they were complete douches who I'd be willing to bash in the face with a shovel without hesitation. It's still popular, but I'm not playing the game with fags.

And hell, Tourney tards even apply there. You play a simple game and they argue saying you don't know how to play or don't know how to use a certain card, and if you say anything about it, they say "they're a judge at a tournament" like it's supposed to some type of authoritic badge with ANY meaning.

In short:
Tourney Tards ruin Smash Bros.
Tourney Tards ruin Yu-Gi-Oh!
Tourney Tards ruin EVERYTHING.
3324  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 03:48:31
Yeah. Well that same Charizard they reprinted into a Non-Holo form. As said before, it's about 6 years old now and when I saw it, I thought it was one of the dumbest things I had ever seen.

I say the same thing about every Yu-Gi-Oh! card Upperdeck prints in a new Structure Deck as a common that was originally Ultra Rare and/or was something I worked hard to nab years ago.
3325  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 03:37:28
Well, I'll still play just for the fun of it all, and I heard some kids play in college.

Although, I think it's kinda stupid since it is college. High School was one thing, college is another.

Also WIND, if you read, that Charizard was NOT released "recently". I saw that dumb thing around when Yu-Gi-Oh! came out, so I'd say it's about 5-6 years old.
3326  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Gamefaqs poll: Surprised me. on: 6 June 2008, 03:20:36
Animal Crossing has like what, two games?

And that's correct except for the "any Mega Man game". Mega Man in general is MUCH better than Animal Crossing, but there are horrid abominations out there. If you haven't heard, Capcom made a game called "Mega Man Starforce".

I'd rather play Animal Crossing than Mega Man X7 or Battle Network 4 anyday.
3327  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 03:16:56
I don't think so. I remember base set #2. It must've been some other special pack or a base set higher than #2, 'cause it was around the time I quit PokeMon and Yu-Gi-Oh! just came out.

http://cgi.ebay.com/POKEMON-Charizard-3%2F110-non-holo-ex-ULTRA-RARE-_W0QQitemZ250255432535QQcmdZViewItem?IMSfp=TL0806042072r15023

Check the icon on the card. That's not the base set 2 icon. In fact, I have no idea what set that is.
3328  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 03:07:19
Charizard was the Exodia of Pokemon.

Oh, it truly was. I could never get it during my Elementary years and during the Gold/Silver age, I actually managed to assemble and awesome Fire deck consisting of two Charizards and some Enteis. A few years later, I saw in a card shop, the same ol' Charizard which I had love, NOT HOLOGRAPHIC. It was still rare, but they reprinted the card in a pack or something without making it holographic.

Something about it, make me die on the inside.
3329  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 03:03:08
Yu-Gi-Oh! is far much better than PokeMon gameplay wise. PokeMon really in a nutshell consisted of playing "Energy" cards each turn and flipping coins. There's almost no strategic element.

During my Freshmen, Sophmore, and Junior years of High School, Yu-Gi-Oh! was commonly played. Some days, Magic would bust out or something rare like InuYasha or World of Warcraft, but it was usually Yu-Gi-Oh! or Magic. One time, some of them were actually playing PokeMon and I was all like "What the hell happened? This game is dead! Did Pikachu stick his hand out of the grave?"

So we played PokeMon that week. No. Wait. That's right. The game sucked. We only played it for two days.

The game was much more fun when I was younger.
3330  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 02:56:21
Well, where I was, a lot more kids would've played rather than collected had the school policy not been retarded. If you played cards, they'd confiscate them or something. Same crap applied in Middle School. They were afraid kids would get their cards stolen or something, so the best thing you had to do was do undercover trades or just show some of your cards for bragging rights.
3331  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 6 June 2008, 02:50:27
Waluigi or Gray Fox on my end.

Which I'm PERFECTLY fine with.

And yeah, Poke Balls suck. Actually, there was a funny moment when playing with Xero and JC online. I grabbed a Poke Ball and threw it up. We all stopped moving just to watch it land and out came... a Goldeen.

Me: "..."
Xero: "OWNED!"
3332  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Gamefaqs poll: Surprised me. on: 6 June 2008, 02:46:41
You just made me and a bunch of other Animal Crossing players sad.

... Actually, Animal Crossing was more of a time killer than it was an "enjoyable game".
3333  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 02:44:17
Y'see, I never got into DigiMon, therefore I never liked it. And the fact that the fans in Elementary school were pretentious didn't help either.

I was really liking PokeMon at the time and collecting the cards. I remember a group of kids playing the DigiMon card game (which I heard sucked BTW), and I asked if any of them played PokeMon. I heard something on the lines of "HA! Who plays PokeMon? Everyone plays DigiMon now. Get with the times."

There were like, three kids in the group. A VERY weak statement. Especially when I knew at least ten kids at the school brought their cards to school every week.

3335  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 5 June 2008, 17:12:51
I know.

Just for clarification, since you did confuse it for the Devil assist trophy for some reason.

I tolerate Mario Bros., Mushroomy Kingdom, and Hanenbow. 75 m is just plain disgusting. But I'll agree that some of this stuff Sakurai added in, I have no idea what he was thinking. I don't even believe I've had the "Heart Swap" thing done to me, whatever PokeMon that does it.

Did he honestly think 75 m would be fun? This isn't Donkey Kong, this is Smash Bros.

75 m is the old arcade Donkey Kong stage as mentioned above.

It's dumb because all the platforms except for the very top and far top right are so small/crowded, you don't fight. You just jump, fall, or scavenge. Not to mention the little random fireballs that bounce you everywhere.

And even if everyone DOES fight at the very top, you still have Donkey Kong and the dumb jacks that surprisingly launch you at a dangerous distance.

EDIT: ASR beat me.

EDIT2: The Mario Bros. one is actually a good one. It's way better than 75 m.

In otherwords, something that has a high likelihood that we've seen it before.
