3201  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who wants an X Command mission 2? on: 18 June 2008, 06:01:34
Which brings me back to the discussion, NOBODY WANTS A TURN BASED MM GAME

Actually, when I heard about Command Mission, I thought the same thing sorta. I thought "this is doomed to failure, Mega Man doesn't mix with this". But you have to understand that some experiments with the formula can have a good outcome. Battle Network and Command Mission are pleasant surprises.

I'm pretty sure Capcom would throw a Command Mission 2 story in the garbage, but I'd like to play another one, even though I've yet to finish the first one. It's really fun.

Well had it been "Yo Chaos, me...", I would've recognized it, or if it had a period to seperate me from the group. *shrugs*

He said I was playing with them when I was doing something else entirely.

They play late... er... VERY early in the morning.
3205  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 17 June 2008, 05:53:04
They're not Wii games, but you can always check out the virtual console.

I know what you mean about the ASR bit. Heh.

And for me, the theme's blue, grey, black, or green, but mostly blue yesh. I just changed because I thought it was due for one.
3208  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 16 June 2008, 07:25:05
Correction. I just played MGS3 and am hitting the sack.
3209  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: ZX3 in progress, it is confirmed. on: 16 June 2008, 02:29:11
Anyway, my point is that... GutsMan THROWS rocks in the Cell phone version, he doesn't shoot them, so that kid is still an idiot.

Really? Wow.

The lag even killed me.

Same. Forums don't allow interruptions.

EDIT: Well, unless someone posts while you're typing one. That's it. Even then, you can just read it and revise it if needed.
3214  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Gems on X, Zero, Axl head? on: 15 June 2008, 17:56:36
You mean "Axl shouldn't even be a character period" actually.

I don't hate him that badly, but yes, I do hate him in his standing role.

Wow. Morgan's got some really tough friends.
3216  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Headphones on: 15 June 2008, 06:02:42
Yeah I have big headphones that were around 10 bucks and they're great. Sound is awesome (but I think it might bleed out A LOT). I'm not sure why I stopped using them, but it's probably what always happens to me; The right side stopped working.

I've had headphones do that to me too. Coincidentally, I had two pairs break like that in the same night.

Pft. Please. That could happen with anything, not just an iPod. And my current headphones have the angled jack or whatever it it's actually working out better that some past ones. Namely, the iPod earbuds themselves, which break at the jack if pulled regularly at all.

I guess that's true, but headphones have broken down more frequently with me whenever I use an iPod for that reason: pulling out the jack. Angled jacks are better for CD players or other certain devices where the cord naturally flows to your head.
3217  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Headphones on: 15 June 2008, 05:34:25
Contantly bending cords also can do that over time. That's why angled jack sucks with iPods.

Or why iPods suck in general.
3218  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Headphones on: 15 June 2008, 04:46:52
I like those too, but the kind I find leak sound. Anything portable and and fits in the ear works.
3219  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Gems on X, Zero, Axl head? on: 15 June 2008, 03:02:05
Y'see, Axl shouldn't even be a main character. He's an oddball. If I'm not mistaken, X and Zero are both similar in character design. Likewise with the gems.

Axl is totally different. He should've been a helping reploid in the horror that is X7 and had just been killed off.

Again, it's just there for show. At the least, they're like headlights. They turn off when the car dies.
3220  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who created Zero??? on: 15 June 2008, 02:54:12
That does seem to be the case at the moment.

I'M WITH REZ. THIS IS WHY CELL PHONE GAMES ARE THE #####. ##### CONSOLES. WHY CAN'T MY WIIMOTE TEXT TO CANADA?

I had a really DUMB arguement to some kid in High School. He said Guts Man shoots rocks and I told him he throws them. He said no and his proof was because he played the first Mega Man.

... except he threw rocks in Mega Man 1. Oh. WAIT A SECOND. OH, HE PLAYED THE CELL PHONE VERSION. YOUR EVIDENCE IS INVALID YOU FAIL GOOD SIR.

Mine is Lunchebox.

My membership expired a while aback, and I was on my friend's 360, so don't expect to see me online much.

Are you even online on any other consoles? You're still absent on my Smash Bros. list.

You and Dr., but Dr.'s isn't a mystery. :/
3224  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Headphones on: 15 June 2008, 02:37:00
I'm very specific when it comes to headphones. I look for in-ear, minimum sound leakage (only I can hear the music), great quality, comfortable to wear, straight jack for iPods in the pocket. It's also good to have an angled-jack converter.

I know a pair of earbuds from Bose that does a magnificant job with all of the above (sans the angled-jack conversion), but it's definitely NOT $30. For a great $30 headphones like that, I'd like to know myself.

I woke up after having... a MMM-related dream. Sorta.

In the dream, this girl said she wanted to go out with me, but I had to wear a tuxedo, necktie, and other sorts of things that I don't have nor able to buy.

Apparently, JohnCarllos moved to Florida and came over to my house at the time. He said he'd be willing to drive me to the mall or rental to find whatever I need. So, John drove and I was in the backseat. In the dream, it was about 7:40 PM and it was becoming pretty dark and...

... John falls asleep at the wheel. He was flat knocked-out cold. I LITERALLY became a backseat driver.

Somehow, I managed to drive to the mall and drag John into the backseat, sleeping like a baby. I walk in and JCPenny's (being about the size of a Gamestop), had nothing I was looking for. I asked the clerk for help and told him my problem. He made a crack about suits and I laughed. He actually managed to find what I was looking for.

... and I woke up.

Played a little bit more MGS3, and now I've got to go to work again in a few minutes.

I'm trying not to do any math until college.

Uh... yeah. That's actually kinda stupid. It's easy to forget so you might want to learn it and stay in it until it's all done.

Math was one of my last senior high school courses. It will also be my first college courses. I'm knocking them out early.

I'd suggest the same strategy but, you're already a High School Graduate, so this advice is a tad late.
3238  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Rock Band on: 13 June 2008, 07:52:42
The Wii can play games online.

In case you didn't know.

I know

Didn't sound like it.

No Online: It's the Wii what did you expect?

And if I had any interest in the game, yeah, I'd want the same thing too. I used to love Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games but everyone else I knew hated them, so I sold my copies. Online play would make the game all the more satisfying.

I know exactly what stages you're talking about.

I actually really enjoyed the 2nd one the most. I wish I could make my own Mario stage.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

These guards are RETARDED. I love this.

I just layed low underneath the wooden boarding, making slash noises until a guard came around. I intentionally made myself visable until they requested backup. They'd stand around the hole, shooting at me "hitting the flooring" and all I'd do is... slash their legs til' they're dead.

It takes a while, but... I killed everyone in the area INCLUDING reinforcements using myself as bait and a knife as my only weapon. It's great how you slash their legs and they say "What's happening?"

EDIT: NVM. I guess there's a couple left. Oh well.

*crawls back into hole and begins to slash*

Today, I found out exactly how much my friend's girlfriend really likes me.

To put it in quotes, "My God, it's almost like she's horny for you. She wants to see you ALL the time."

Flattered, but I think we're still just friends.

I thought MGS2 was pretty good.

... It made me raise an eyebrow a few times and made me want to stop playing thinking "WTF" but it was OK. It's definitely not as great as the original.

So far, I'm liking the original MGS1 over MGS3, but I can't judge since I've already begun. However, I'm having quite some fun. I'll just have to get used to the new look.

"So, how do they taste?"
"... You're gonna eat one aren't you?"
"Maybe."
"Well... I guess they're alright to eat..."
"You don't say?"
"..."

-When you've been away from the net for several years and when you finally get a computer, one of the first places you go to is this site.
-When you keep a window for MChat open ALL THE TIME because no one goes in as much as they used to so it's best to stay there and wait for someone to walk in.
-You remember how awesome it was in the ol' days and you're desperate to relive the experience so you just sit there, stare at the screen/play games, and wait for someone to come into MChat like the sorry pathetic sap you are.

... Yes.

John. That match on Bridge of Eldin was excellent.

I assembled all of the Dragoon, and an invincible star appeared. John raced for it, while I aimed at the star. It was all or nothing. He was inches away when I fired the Dragoon. John ran toward in slow motion aaaaaand.

John goes FLYING off the screen.
