I remember I glitched Red version to get myself a level 250 Gengar...
I was trying to Rare Candy it to level 300 (and battling would make it go back to 100) and then it went "Gengar grew to level 0!" and I was shocked. And then I laughed.
Level 0 Gengar. Seriously.
Same, just switch "Gengar" with "Snorlax". But I like Gengar more than Haunter when choosing Pokemon, but in terms of design, Haunter > Gengar.

About the conversation earlier, even though I like GS over Red and Blue, your head is twisted ASR. Yeah, the best starters were Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur... but c'mon.
Cyndaquil and Tododile were awesome. Mostly Tododile (if I'm spelling that right) but I love all their evolved forms. Chikorita was just meh, even when evolved.
I'd prefer all the Red/Blue starters over the GS ones except for Squirtle and Tododile. That's just a hard choice personally. I mean, one's a huge gator, and one will be a turtle with GUNS.

I think Over Joe's colour should change per stage. Like camo.
The dark one for Mikeropia, a light one for snow or clouds, etc.
... Mike's onto something here... But then again, I wasn't planning on having a default Joe in EVERY stage, so only a few will get them.

I'm glad you like it, and yeah, I know the perspective with the signal is whack. I was intentionally gonna make custom clouds but I kept messing up so I just took clouds ripped straight from the NES MM7 and put them there. That's why it looks a little off, but I still think it's pretty neat. It's just there for decoration, so I'm sure during the battle the signal could just flicker off if desired. Say hello to my version of a Sniper Joe. Basically the same type as the one in Mega Man 1, except he has the ability to charge his buster. When he fires a charged shot, a semi-larger shot appears that will break up into five mini shots when it collides with an object. In a nutshell, it's a Sniper Joe that knows Shotgun Ice. >.> Sprite changes that you can't tell unless you compare them are the shape of his buster and the color of his eye. Upon Annie's request, here's a black version. I think the black one is better. Yeah, I think I'll use the black one. EDIT: Deleted the Green one.

I thought it was pretty awesome and I'd be tempted to play it again. If you're into difficult racing games then this would be one of them. By difficult, I mean... you'll be smacking your face against countless objects, flying off your Moto, falling to your death, crashing, etc. There's apparently a Jet Moto 3 for the PS2 but I never knew of it's existence. I'd call this Jet Moto's attempt at a Rainbow Road. Racing through Heaven in one minute, then dropping into Hell the other. I don't remember it getting THAT dark though so it must be the video.

Yeah, exactly.
I would've given him a weird sized laser canon in one arm, and a sword in the other, and have the sword be some weird sized Jedi saber.
And of course, a different pose than the dumb Mega Man 1 constipated pose. I dunno, it just seems off that it's the EXACT pose, aside from minor things like the placement of his other arm.

damn....In betwen this, Mario &Luigi 3, Spirit Tracks, and Made in me, I have a hell of a choice for what DS game to get....
M&L3 sounds like either a rental or what I did to the prevous 2: Buy them then sell them when finished. Spirit Tracks I might get, and WarioWare is a maybe, but I'm wantin' the PokeMon GS DS.

The Gameboy Mega Man games I haven't played, but I have Xtreme 1 and it's okay. I wouldn't mind having any of the GB Mega Man games honestly. I have to play them to get an opinion, but they're more like collectibles to me than they are games since they're just spin-offs and not real serious attempts.
But the best out of the handhelds are BN1-3, MHX, and MMPU.
Mega Man Powered Up is loads of fun and Maverick Hunter X is an okay remake. It's really just the first X game on the PSP, but it's just nice to replay in 3D. BN1-3 have great storylines in them, my personal favorite being #3, but #2 is a must play.
ZX is OK. The games are decent at best. They just need to improve a little and it'd be a nice series but Capcom doesn't seem to want to be doing that.
Star Force is also just "OK" as a game. I'll play one of the games but I wouldn't waste my money on it. Reason is because Capcom obviously is just "dur-durring" us with the series. They advertise it like mad calling it BRAND NEW, INTERESTING, FANTASTIC, MIND-BLOWING, and only one of those is the truth: It's definitely mind blowing. It'd be nice if the games had a little originality or new gameplay to bring to the table but it doesn't. If you've played Battle Network, you played Star Force. Only thing they worked on was the battle system which is about the only fun thing in the game. Everything else keeps the BN4-6 taste, which isn't Capcom's best.
BN4 is horrible. BN5 is better but still "eh", and BN6 is ALMOST as good as BN1 but not quite, it's almost there, but I actually enjoyed BN6 in the slightest.
And what can I say about the Zero series? Ignoring what Chron mentioned before, I hate Mega Man games on the Gameboy Advance that are platformers. Battle Network just fit on the system, but playing the Zero series is just hazardous and annoying. Mega Man & Bass's port to the system also had the same issue, although It still has a little charm to it being a classic game.
To sum it up...
Good: MMPU, MHX, BN1-3
OK: MM&B, BN6, ZX, ZXA, Star Force1-3
Bad: BN4, BN5, MMZ1-4

Yeah, I just don't like Mega Man platformers on the GBA in general. The screen is too small and it makes playing the games annoying.
I replayed Mega Man & Bass recently and yes, I got annoyed here and there because I couldn't see where I was going. The games aren't built for the system.
Plus I'm most likely not going to spend my money on any Mega Man games at the moment unless it involves Mega Man Wily Wars or Mega Man's Soccer on the virtual console.

you are only allowed to have one game for the rest of your life, and it's a Zero game. which one would you choose? hee's the catch:
you are not allowed to give up playing. you MUST play it
you are nt allowed to kill yourself.
... How about we just kill you? Having one game, and it's one of these. There's no way to win here. I played Zero 3 before and it annoyed me, and the only thing that makes me want Zero 3-4 in the SLIGHTEST is the extra boss battles in Mega Man ZX when you have the game in your DS. Of course, in this scenario, I'm not allowed to have ZX. Plus I hear both aren't that good anyway. I hear from WIND that MMZ2 is the best, but I'd probably rather take a shot at MMZ1.

Thanks. I have a bunch of enemy designs for the stage but instead of uploading them, I'll name/describe them (No-names will be in brackets). Metall Over-Joe [Moving Enemy] (As seen in MM1, MM2, MM9, etc) [Three-way Canon] (I scrapped the earlier one I posted, and yes, it has eyes) Tear Dropper Eye Spider Bomb Bandit (Mini-boss) Posted on: 9 May 2009, 00:50:21
Uploaded the version with items and enemies. So far, it's just the Sidekicks and Upstarts for enemies, because I haven't sprited the others. This is still unfinished but I'll inform you when it's done. I don't know if I'm gonna bother adding the stars and city landscape now either. Maybe I'll do it last or something. Along with, actually discussing normally rather than just random stuff. Just because you can make a topic doesn't mean you have to. I've made like, what, 6 topics in all my history? I don't know, I'm just guessing. If it's worthy to say then just reply normally in a topic already at hand.
And another hint: Quality is better than quantity. We care about what you have to say more than your post count.

I'm so sorry we try to keep an intelligent conversation here and we don't play your pointless quiz questions.
Yes, we like Mega Man, but we don't like reading these stupid posts like yours. That's all we've asked since you're the one coming here spamming useless crap asking US to go e-mail you. No, that's not how it rolls son. We don't meet up with you, you meet up here, and if you don't have proper English then you leave. We don't care two cents what you think so far because it's mindless garbage, but if you improve we'd give respect. If that's what you want then you earn it like everyone else does in this world.
But do keep your arrogance, it makes you look so mature.

Your posts are pathetic that's why. You make topics with little to no point (like this one specifically), and overall it just makes you look dumb, especially with your reply. It's hard to understand you, you lack proper punctuation, grammar, spelling, things you learn in Elementary school. I don't see how you can post all this crap and then say "I don't get what I'm doing wrong." It's plainly obvious, even since we've repeated it so many times.
You're not going to last here though, I know it for a fact.
So yeah, I did post some advice, but I doubt you'll actually learn from it.

I've never used Geodudes ever unless I was playing the PokéMon TCG.
There was some cool move with cards like Golem and Magnemite, where you could attach some trainer card, Self-Destruct, and still be alive.

Yellow would suck as a remake.
I adored Yellow. It had a charm I really liked. Yeah, it's no Red or Blue, but it was flippin' Yellow man! And Crystal just turned me off in so many ways. Yeah, they added in some cool stuff and you could finally choose your gender, but I absolutely hated the Pokemon animations. Some of them looked like they were having a seizure. It just wasn't very appealing. I'll keep my Silver and Gold, thanks.

Also, I think you are overusing the window thing. Buildings are not 80% covered in windows, usually. But it's really good, I like it.
Not in real life, but this is MAGAMAN WROLD And yeah. Basically, it's pretty standard in the beginning. Like an average Mega Man stage, you learn about a gimmick in it's earlier stages and thus use it to your advantage later. I set up two for this stage. The Upstarts and Sidekicks, and a ninja has to have some fall-through flooring (Like Concrete Man's stage). The Upstarts and Sidekicks are pretty basic in the beginning, just so you can understand their function, and in the room with those gray blocks inside the building, some of those are false and you'll fall through them. After getting to the top, you use Upstarts and Sidekicks to avoid the spikes, and the last room with the false blocks would be the most difficult, since there are spikes at the bottom. Finally, you make some final jumps over more Upstarts and Sidekicks towards the boss chamber. The boss chamber is actually an elevator which will take you up to the next screen, which is supposed to be a long and quick elevator ride like Gyro Man's stage to the top of the building. During the ride, I'd figure you'd see Mikero leaping upward outside, faster than the speed of the elevator so he can beat you to the top. When you're at the top, the battle starts like normal. Mikero falls from the sky, does a little pose, and the boss meter fills up. The room where you enter through the broken glass is going to be a mini-boss. The glass below explodes which will drop you into the checkpoint room. Mikero's boss room is outside on a building rooftop because every Matrician boss gets a special move. Mikero's is Mikeropian Burial, where Mikero jumps into the background, stands on the pole, and his scarf blows in the wind. Whichever the direction of his scarf blows, that's the direction the massive tidal wave will head, which will try to flush you off to your death. Yes. Mikero floods the whole city. It's awesome.
