Title: Action Replay Help
Post by: ChaosVortex on 28 February 2008, 02:49:52
I turned on my Action Replay DS and put Animal Crossing in and it doesn't recognize it like it used to. All the codes in the database have been wiped clean somehow. I typed in the Game ID it displays and what this says (http://us.codejunkies.com/search/codes/Animal-Crossing--Wild-World_Nintendo-DS_17825822-17___.aspx) and I get a funky blue and red lines on my DS with the AR frozen. I bought my AR used, so I don't have the USB or whatever comes with it.

What's wrong with it?

It was used?

No idea. That's never happened to me.

Did you remove the AR before it fully loaded?

This is what happens when people confuse you with Wind in other topics.

I doubt anything was wrong with it before you bought it. But I'd say it might be junked, you might have to buy another one.

*sticks hand out*

Say that again and watch how fast YOUR DS breaks!

I don't think so. I just reregister the game. I put in "Animal Crossing: Wild World", then I put in the code. I tried ADME-6c56b746 and ADME-8f7851cb but right when I hit "Next", my bottom screen shows a patten of red and blue lines zooming downward like I busted it or something. Nothing happens. The software freezes.

Action Replay's for the DS break with appalling regularity.

Or stop buying them.

I don't usually endorse those types of devices, but from what I've seen, people seem to have the best luck with CodeBreaker brand cheat devices.

I never buy those things but my cousin gave me a DS AR as a gift. I will probably use it on AC, that's the only useful thing for it I think. Unless it lets me play as someone else like a hot babe in Pheonix Wright.

How do you really play as anyone in PW anyway? You never really see who you are unless you're in the courtroom, and even if those images were swapped, the dialogue wouldn't match with anyone other than Phoenix.

A lot of his dialogue isn't specific to his character, least of all anything during a case. After that it's as simple as swapping a few words around here and there.
