Title: 20th Anniversary Techno Arrange Album
Post by: Xero on 20 December 2007, 11:42:23
It's officially out now, so for those who have listened to it already, I put this question to you: Do you think TEAM Entertainment delivered on your expectations?

It's been awhile since an official arrange album was released, and I have to say, I find it to be quite well done. I'm especially fond of Dr.Wily MM2, Boss Select Meldey, Snake Man and Flame Man. Those tracks I found to be excellent, the others range from good to great.

While I'm not a big fan of Techno, it was pretty good. Of course, I didn't see the point in including the original NES themes in there too, I think they should have added more remixes instead. Now, onto the question, it'd have to be a no.. both the albums didn't wow me, only about 2 from each album were worth the download for me.

Allright. Is there a link somewhere, or am I talking about not-very-legal stuff now..?

...lol wut

Xero, any reason in particular you copied my OP from the rock arrange thread almost exactly? Do I sense a deep connection here, maybe that you can never get me off your mind and always think of me? GOSH NOW I'M BLUSHING.

Anywho, I'm enjoying it. I don't believe it's up-to-par with the rock arrange (and I'm very disappointed they left out only MM3's Stage Select, my favorite of the six), still, pretty good overall. Like Wind said, it's a given that it'd be nice, between both the techno and rock arranges, if the space used for putting in the 8 bit originals was used for more remixes, but I think even if they hadn't included them on the disc, they wouldn't bother with more remixes.

I don't know if you noticed, but there's a writers' strike going on right now, SO WHY DON'T YOU WRITE YOUR OWN DAMN MATERIAL YOU SCUM-SUCKING THIEF?

...Then again...

Pretty good stuff. There are a few tracks that I thought would turn out diffrently, like Heatman, but that's because i'm spoiled by OCRemix.

Still good work.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I DL'd them and had a blast listening to them.

Mainly because I finally figured out how to hook up my iPod to the enormous band room speakers.

And someone brought a strobe light.
