Locked away somewhere I have a video cassette (back in my day, that's where what we watched the talking pictures on) that I bought in high school, in a bargain area, in the bin, reeling about with other crap, of all the Karaoke Cafe stuff.

Or have Alzheimer's. But that's not funny.

Or maybe it is, I don't know.

Zero is the best man. He fights to the bitter end, and without him there would have been no maverik virus, no evil sigma, and no X series to play.

Yeah you're right. Thank you Zero, for removing everlasting peace.
7104  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Mega Man X9 question. on: 19 July 2008, 07:25:18
Since when?

Note that I was talking about the animation, not the game design, at that point. Call them what you will, their animation staff is still quite adequate.

I think I'm qualified enough to respectfully disagree.

But seriously, besides the MM9 awesomeness, I can't remember the last good idea that they had.

Command Mission, then.
7105  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Who was the better DR? on: 19 July 2008, 07:23:10
No. That is stupid. If we're going to be stupid I'll throw in the "MegaMan is MORE DAN A ROBOT!" and ##### up your business.

Use Gateman V1, the Program Advance works with any Gateman chip and it's pretty much the most useful P.A. you'll use in the story mode. And it will help you leaps and bounds against the final boss of the game.

... If you even still walk between the living and the dead.

wait are u saying this cuz my folder sucks or just cuz u dont like megaman 6?

Wow it's either you all are way too mature for my taste or just way to rude.

I'm both, wanna play?

God is technically a name, unless you're atheist.

This is not true. It is only a name if you are referring to a god named God. There are many gods. Naturally, however, he WAS referring to such a god and did need to capitalise, but the atheist bit is neither here nor there. An atheist is still a name. I capitalise Santa Claus, but I don't believe he exists (.... anymore ::greedo grin::).

7114  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Who was the better DR? on: 19 July 2008, 06:48:26
Yeah, even if Wily didn't make MegaMan, the sheer number of robots he designed in comparison to Dr. Light is impressive,

Actually it's as impressive as it is pathetic. I'm not disagreeing with you, but think of it like this; Dr. Light got it correct quickly. Wily could never do that. He tried and tried and tries and never gets there. Bass was his closest thing (b4 zerollllgsdgsaggaylordmode) and even then Bass doesn't listen to Wily and still can't beat MM.
7115  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Proof of Megaman 9? on: 19 July 2008, 06:35:00
Duo's in it for no good reason.

Except for being awesome.

they just want to know why none of the classic robots are in X.  You don't need a game for that.

Well... Apparently Auto made it...

Liek ho my gawd thatz teh awesum

But seriously, if you don't want one of those shirts, you don't deserve to live.  Go see Rez at the mauling hut for more details.

I wouldn't assume Rez agrees with you. I'm not even that pert and I swing my brass balls like thunderbolts all across this webland. I do not want a shirt of that, and I am quite sure my life has or will have worth.

I will want it. I will not purchase it. Because I will tire of it all too quickly and never play it again.

Because it uses a #####ing internal clock and the game plays itself when I'm not around or able to! FGSFDS! I have WAY too many other things to do, I don't want my game to be #####ed up because I have responsibilities and ambitions like a proper #####ing adult. Now I can't go on a goddamn vacation because my game wants to act like I have 50 virtual pets? Go. Eat. A. Dick.

And online speaking is a waste brain cells. If I wanted to be called the N-word I would have stayed in the 80's.

Silly Robin, you have no parents too!

And we all know the bottom one is fake.  Seriously, the Green Lantern has a ring that does #####ING EVERYTHING.  No way is a ceiling tile taking him out.

And Flash? He's just a badass.

Wrong. That's an old comic, and it's old enough that's it is from when Green Lanterns still had the yellow impurity problem which only rookie GLs suffer from now. The bar is yellow, Hal is #####ed.

But the comment is stupid since Barry actually warned Hal about it a split second before or even AFTER it hit, even though he's the Fastest Man Alive.

Things to make it better:
-Less cliche lines from the cops (seriously, it was bad)
-Bale's Batman voice was a GREAT Solid Snake impression. But it's doesn't belong.
-Sonar eyes looked retarded, and why not just turn them off?
-Batman's fist fights were too robotic, and didn't feel authentic.
-It needs more BAM! CLUNK!! WASHOOOOM!!!

Was there anything after the credits?

No.

RIP Heath Ledger.

God, shut up.

He did great, but #####ing hell everyone is blowing all this ##### way out of proportion. He did awesome, and it's a shame, but ##### he's going to win awards posthumously MORE because he died than because he did a great job (which he did, yes).

And I have to say, Harvey Dent was the biggest shine in that movie. Not to take anything away from how perfect Joker was.

Just... Hrm. It's SO much.

Worked the comic store all day then went to the Rideau Centre (mall downtown, on my way home from work) to visit Jess at work/hang out so I bought a couple CDs and waited around for an hour until her store was closed, saw a couple people I know.

Unsuccessfully blanked one and had to be talked at for a while. Went to get when she was done and we went to the Starbucks in the Chapters across the street. She had this Tao Zen green tea spearmint thing and I had some not too great lemonade green tea thing she recommended that apparently they make entirely wrong. Then we went to the bus and I skipped my stop to bus with her to the end of the line where she got picked up, and then bussed home. Was nice.

Our bear is a mama bear.

Kittens.

Not a bear at all, then! But I want pics, so get a disposable real cheap.

I would change the orange to blue if only because the orange knocks it out of theme.
7137  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: ReploidQ's Artwork on: 18 July 2008, 13:59:59

Listen Q-bert, I don't know you. That means I don't particularly like or dislike you. That means I'm not particularly fond of you photocopying the title of my thread. That from that what you will, but your signature preaches creativity, so I suggest you go that route.

Artwise I'll have to check your stuff another time, as for whatever reason my wireless router is being screwy and I don't want to spend any more time than is necessary on my desktop PC, which I can barely tolerate.

Well out of respect I changed the threads title. I like your work, hope you enjoy my little doodles. It was a honest mistake as my deviant art is Art of Knight.  so i thought i would replace Knight with Q, because of my account on MMM. Anyways ill be putting something a bit better then this stuff soon. Hope everyone is enjoying my fan stuff  :D

It's cool. It really isn't/wasn't as big a deal as my post made it sound.

7142  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Mega Man X9 question. on: 18 July 2008, 07:03:16
But the point is that it's difficult to dodge these attacks because you have to dash, not duck.

You guys are starting to sound like those people who want X to be able to shoot up...

It's logical. Besides, he can shoot up when using other weapons.
From the point of view that it makes the game more difficult, yeah, I guess that's okay, but then if you could shoot up, imagine how clever they could be.

Oh, wait, this is Capcom.
Never mind that.

This is why I like Chron.

He and I. We see POTENTIAL.

Jesus, name the last idea they had that didn't send Rez on a rampage.

Well as Jesus won't be coming online today (he's got a family thing, you know) I'll name this in his stead; 8-bit MM9. Thank you.

they're professionals.

Since when?
7143  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Proof of Megaman 9? on: 18 July 2008, 06:57:17
Power Fighters. And that could have happened or not happened at any time in the series. It's all 21XX. You could actually make MM1-8 shuffled around a timeline if you were stupid.
7144  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Who was the better DR? on: 18 July 2008, 06:55:08
  • First of all, it's "Gaudile", not "Glaudelle". And he does basically nothing but touch a blonde's rack (which is pretty easy considering how intelligent blondes aren't) and look wicked. Nope.
  • Second, it's Dr. Light you braindead cannon fodder fetuses. Wily is equal to Light in my opinion, but I mean... Light is just Light. If it ain't Light it ain't right. He's the winner for me, just for being the best at what he does, and being better at it than every single other person or reploid on the list. PERHAPS if whatever Klingon created Duo was on the list, I'd vote for him, as Duo was above anything Light had completely at the time.
  • Oh wow Cossack upgraded Mega Man's ARM. His arm? ##### off. Light CREATED that #####ing arm. "Oh I'm Cossack I just put one piece in this arm to make it a bit better blah blah worship me."

NO THANKS.

Besides, what kind of name is Kalinka Cossack anyway? Sounds like a date rapist.

  • Now onto Cain. Yeah he's cool. But what did he do? He opened a capsule or two. And then he photocopied (Yes photo, as a photocopy can never be exactly the same as the original, it's ALWAYS off. Look it up.) what he found inside.

He's a tracer. Trace trace trace. Traces and photocopies so much you get weird bastardizations of the real deal like Axl and all these weird ass things in MMZ that look like old turn of the Century (19th-20th, not 20th-21st) wood burning stoves. Yes, let's all worship the most successful plagiarizer of the 22nd Century. Good job.

  • Doppler? No.
  • Psyche? Not likely.
  • Weil? You would have to be from a parallel universe. And I know everyone from a parallel universe that's on the planet. We go to the same Record Runner.
  • Ciel? Please terminate yourself.

To be honest, I think the notion of the X connecting MM9 got it's birth in North America, somewhere. It doesn't really make sense that it would come out of Japan, at least. I doubt they'd bother with the roman numeral bull idea, I really really do.

What a hate out on the Zero series, Personally i prefer Zero in his own series becasue he is more fluid and smooth. while in the X series hes too boxy. tho his face and body type was a bad change. Overal he may not look as tough in the Zero series, but at least he dosnt have green jewl breasts and white micky mouse gloves anymore.

I am now prepared to be ripped on for my reply.

I don't rip. I shred.

But not tonight. On a later date however... Well.

It's actually a pretty genius idea for them.
