Don't boost Mike's ego by calling him "everyone."

IMMM: Look up my ego in the Hitchiker's Guide and it says "See: Universe". It's like that.

IRL: My ego is actually small to the point I should probably get therapy. I'm probably a death or to away from being Eeyore.
4353  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 24 November 2008, 23:45:25
It's fine on my Firefox.

I used to hate it for the reason ASR hates it, but I dealt with that when Safari and Camino started sucking and I was used to tabbed browsing.

I'll try that game... when I finish all the books.

Anyhooo I just played the Call Of Duty 3 demo that's somehow already on my XBox 360. All I really have to say is; Jesus Christ.
4354  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 24 November 2008, 23:40:47
Portal Lego would be better if they didn't add the effects. I always hated in my Legomaniac (that's right) magazines when they'd add Photoshop effects to their comics and what-not. I mean the whole idea was to make it with Lego.

For instance, they'd add fire effects on top of fire Lego. That's so lame.

And when Lego's "fiber optic" stuff was first coming out, they'd always add glow to it in the magazine, which made it look SO cool. But in real life it wasn't so hot.

Looking at ASRs avatar, I wish I'd worn my tie on my head on Halloween too, since they're similar.
4356  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are you watching? on: 24 November 2008, 23:37:44
I wouldn't dislike CSI so much if there wasn't one of the ever growing versions on at ANYTIME. It's like worse than how often Seinfeld and The Simpsons reruns are shown.
4357  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 24 November 2008, 23:35:04
See you in a week Costa. If you keep that avatar when you're back then like you smellish.

Funny, my friends call me that to differentiate between me and another Mike.

I know how that is. In some circles I'm "Collymore".

Which is cool.
4358  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 24 November 2008, 01:24:40
OOOH K I remember Gato. It was the "two actually" that messed me up, because I didn't see the second Gato but saw some green I thought could be another cactus.
4359  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 24 November 2008, 01:22:55
I'm excited to rent Saints Row and Fable, as well as the sequels.

But Banjo Kazooie comes first.

... And MM9...
4360  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 24 November 2008, 01:01:36
Is Gato the cactus?

I saw that and wished it was the cactus with boxing gloves from Digimon instead.
4361  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are you watching? on: 24 November 2008, 00:59:03
Yes, it does. But it's actually good. It's more CSI than House, where House combines detective and doctor shows. Except that CSI is awful. Also, whatever it is about this actor, he's really interesting to watch. Or weird. I can't tell.
4362  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: I wish there was a Dash 3... on: 24 November 2008, 00:57:36
How so?
4363  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 24 November 2008, 00:55:32
When I get decent parts, I'll go nuts. All I've managed to make that I like right now is a crappy little pretend motorcycle with the traction wheel up front and standard in the back, and a ramming arm up front. It's only good for getting from point A to B and in races, but you can't do anything else with it at all.

I have a replay of the fight for that coconut, which was literally 4 seconds long. 4 seconds is a stretch too. It was just "1 2 3 go" bamf over.
4364  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 24 November 2008, 00:09:41
That's a guy?
4365  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are you watching? on: 23 November 2008, 23:48:40
I saw an episode of this show called Eleventh Hour recently. It stars the lead from the cult movie Dark City (which is good) and that's why I left it on, since I recognized the guy. It was pretty good. I'd start watching it if I actually knew when it was on.

He's like some really smart doctor working for the CIA or FBI or other three letter high authority. So he has some agent with him who I guess is his handler, but he goes around solving hyper mysterious murders.
4366  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 23 November 2008, 23:43:41
Except the hair. I hate the hair. But the rest is pretty good (not counting the armor briefs).
4367  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 23 November 2008, 23:40:54
Got a 360 today. Yep. Played Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts since then until now. Good stuff.

The 360 came two other games, Lego Indiana Jones and Kung-Fu Panda. I care about neither.
4368  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 23 November 2008, 07:02:43
I liked Johnny Dupe before. Like, I love Edward Scissorhands and some of other older work.

But Tim Burton's mancrush on him, combined with things like Pirates and Depp winning some "funniest" actor award thing when up against actual comedies (namely Superbad and Knocked Up) have just made me loathe anything his name gets hookwormed onto.
4369  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Casting call for MegaMan: The Movie on: 23 November 2008, 06:56:29
It's not at all hard to be better than Yu-Gi-Oh! live-action. The concept actually negates any possible-but FLEETING-entertainment from the animated version.

4374  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 23 November 2008, 02:34:03
This starts with this statement; I live in a city. I do not live in the country, not in farm land, and no where near anything like a zoo.

So yesterday, on my way to work, I was walking through the parking lot of a bunch of businesses. I walk through this place to my bus every day. Before I turned a corner I thought "Ah #####. I forgot my phone, and I'll be late if I go back. But I probably won't need it anyway, plans have already been made for tonight."

So I turned the corner and looking around thought "What is that? A big fake bird?" It was, to my soundless astonishment, NOT fake.

...

The wild turkey walked a few steps before eating something in the grass right outside the door of some printing company. I could not believe my eyes. In a rather overtly causous arc I walked by it on the opposite side of the car park, watching this foul fowl. It was just... there. As if everything was fine. Not another human in sight.

I kept on my course, though, lest I be mercilessly pecked. I've heard tell that wild turkeys, being turkeys, are complete dullards and that wild turkeys, being wild, will attack people out of no where. I don't know, but I was running late and had no phone to take a picture, so showing up late to work claiming turkey-attack wouldn't fly.

I have no idea how a turkey could possibly have been deposited there. And if you've not seen a wild turkey in person before, it's startlingly big. It'd take a good sized hug to get arms around that thing. I'm still slightly creeped out about it. At night I walked through there a couple times (going to and from the bus 'cause I went drinking downtown) and I didn't see it again. Or it didn't feel like fighting me.

I'm worried it lives in the overgrown vacant lot. Well, maybe not-so-vacant.
4375  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Music! on: 23 November 2008, 01:27:51
Excellent song, although I think I prefer the overly censored lyrics version of it since I heard that first.

Upon further inspection I completely agree. Heard it first too, but I think it's just lyrically better. More clever and skillful, really.
4376  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 23 November 2008, 00:11:40
I'll probably definitely watch it too. I really like few adaptations of it though. I really dislike the Disney cartoon, but loved the Disney live action show called "Adventures In Wonderland" when I was young.

I'm gonna make a real hog. Double-wide tires.

Might get a 360 and this tomorrow. I can very much afford it all, but it's weird for me just up and get stuff like this. Nuts, yeah? Yeah.
4379  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Animal Crossing: City Folk on: 22 November 2008, 22:38:45
I didn't know there was an N64 version in japan, however it does not look exactly like the GC version. It is really close though, but I can tell right away from screens. I guess they mostly only ever made lighting effects nicer.
4380  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 22 November 2008, 22:24:23
It was my only problem with the vehicle building in Kingdom Hearts, as all strongest blocks had edges that, no matter what colour you picked for your block, were another colour that clashed wildly with it. So I made my ship white (which had the only acceptable edges of any colour; grey) with some solid greens.

When I get this, I'll probably try making a motorcycle first.
4381  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 22 November 2008, 22:18:40
Yeah I've heard about it, and as a big Alice in Wonderland fan I've decided I don't like this.

4383  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Animal Crossing: City Folk on: 22 November 2008, 21:21:37
Have Nintendo games ever been about graphics?

The N64 had something to do with graphics. You know, being that graphics were their entire marketing campaign.

It's too bad that the blocks all have that those silver edges, makes everything look patchwork.

See the actual guy is more badass than he is fat. The name Big Bad Fat Ass implies more fat than Big Fat Bad Ass, so clearly it's another guy.

But this is what he said; "I read it as Big Bad Fat Ass!" on my art blog. Then I had to decide that would be a character but it sounds funny too.

Kung-Fu-Custodian/Ninjanitor sounds wicked and should be friends with Big Fat Bad Ass !!! (yes the exclamation points are necessary... maybe) and they should do an old fashioned Team-Up.

My friend Robbie already coined the named the name for BFBA's rival/arch-nemesis though; Big Bad Fat Ass.

Watch out for--at least one--more BFBA in the near future.

... my favourite part of him is that his logo is just "No."

Scarf. I didn't want to sacrifice the entire silhouette for it, and the character can change costumes equipment when the need arises. Otherwise he'd be a pretty awful ninja.

The manliness isn't missing, you're just day wet dreaming about me again.
