Well... I didn't read any of this being about combat tactics. I read it to be about the holocaust, which I'm pretty sure is what they meant.

Not that I don't like how lively a bot can make this place, but I recently saw on registering for something a good way of stopping bots from getting in. OK fine I'll mention it; Basically while registering, instead of that yawnful numbers and letters entering junk (although it still had that ), it had like six pictures of video game characters and said "Which of these characters is Mario". A bot can't just pick like that. It would randomize the pictures and answer too, obviously.

Eddx, Google is your friend.
Man, just be helpful. I realize that helping newbies is annoying and sucky but you could literally almost answer any question on the site with "Google is your friend" and then what's the point of any forum? And then ru di doo di doo Google takes over the hworld.

I just read the first spoiler and was like "Done." Posted on: 19 April 2009, 14:49:08
I just saw Adventureland and it kinda sucks. Like... a more decisive person might say the movie is bad. That ain't me. The actual plot of the movie was interesting enough to me, it wasn't totally the same old stuff and it wasn't totally fresh but I was interested in it enough to watch the whole movie when I decided the movie was lacking pretty early. The movie failed to get me to really care about any of the characters or empathize with anyone. By the end of it I was only kind of getting there but for a long time it was like watching strangers talk. You don't really care or not care. My favourite person in movie was a really off the wall balls hot blonde waitress who was in the middle of a dancefloor and on screen only long enough to click my fingers. It's advertised as a Superbad-esque comedy and it really isn't. The main portion of the movie isn't jokey at all and the jokes at the start and peppered throughout the movie don't really land. I mean, I can tell where the jokes are, I can tell that they're funny (I guess), but the delivery or timing is off or something. Actually "or something" is a phrase I use a lot in thinking about this movie. Without giving anything away, the funniest joke in the movie had to do with an eye-patch. I don't know, it was just very bleh and I didn't feel like going to the movies in the first place anyway. If there's a movie you actually want to see and it's between this and that, go with that because Adventureland is pretty skippable even though I liked the idea of it. It was one of those movies where I could see what they were trying to do, they just didn't pull it off. Basically in a nutshell: Something's off.

I'm glad I didn't like Six Feet Under. I don't know why, I just am.
Yeah Lost was good. As was Heroes and Terminator and House. I'm glad.
Recently got all caught up on Smallville and Teen Titans and some other stuff that was on the back burner because of mediocrity. Teen Titans was just a completion thing and because I wanted to see Kid Flash but I'm glad I did it. I'm actually starting to kind of like Smallville again, for some reason it's all a lot less annoying now.

Seriously guys, Backstreet Boys.
It's purely nostalgia-earmuffs entertainment, but Larger Than Life?... I Want It That Way?... Backstreet's Back?
Come on. Awesome.
I'd be on board if you mentioned songs that were from their first album. But I guess those ones are OK too.

You'd be surprised at how many people are so uneventful that the only way to describe them "normal". As in "regular", or "typical". SANO. I STILL LIKE YOU.
Seriously, what was the occasion?
Oh, I submitted a portfolio to a contest being run by the Media Diversity Council and I was given the award for photography and illustration (all one category). So, I've got a neat trophy and now the MDC is trying to wrangle me an internship at some local fancy place.
Congrats man, that's really cool!

My final for design, handed it in yesterday morning before work. There's also a muscle study for him like last year but I don't have it scanned so maybe later.

Well there's Knothole Island, which is old. I thought I downloaded it actually, and then made the last story decision based on that, and then it turns out I only downloaded the OPTION to buy the Knothole Island expansion. That pissed me off because I took the good choice and need Knothole Island to replace what that made me lose. So I'm thinking about buying that when I'm done classes.
