God damn Uzumaki.

I read one of his works, I think it was called "The Wall".

Huge WTF at the end.

I didn't even know those ASCII characters existed.

These are characters not present in ASCII, but Unicode.
Learn.

I was going to say Unicode but I didn't think most people here would understand.

For me I just stick my HDMI cord into my Laptop and everything takes care of itself.

Might be a bit more complicated for other people, though...

Um, John...

WTF?
557  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 19 April 2009, 20:45:22
I like hooking up my TV to my laptop so that I can have movies and TV shows playing on the TV while doing my work on my laptop.

Of course I could just substitute with DVDs but I have more downloaded stuff than not, so...

I mean, seriously, your post was the latest new post and next thing I know some red eyed demon thing appears right in front of my face. Totally unexpected, too.

ASR is 100% correct.

Mega Man 2 Quiz on Facebook

Because I made it.

I had a feeling that you made it.

Also, I somehow got Mega Man.
561  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 19 April 2009, 00:06:04
The DSi first week sales have outsold the DS Lite's first week sales, so Nintendo is already racking in the cash.

The only game I downloaded for it so far is Aquios which isn't a bad puzzle game. Kind-of addicting, but I'm done with it now.

I think it would be extremely awesome if Capcom ported MegaMan 9 to the DSi. I'd definitely re-buy it just to be able to play it on the go.
562  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 18 April 2009, 21:26:36
It's already out and it's not all that great.
563  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 18 April 2009, 10:06:54
Y'know, ASR? I think you'd like Rhythm Heaven for the DS. Made by the same guys who made WW, but the game is centered around rhythm and music for its insanity.

Also, I think WarioWare Myself is a WW game where you can create and share your own micro-games... which sounds like your type of game, ASR.

It's like they were made specifically for this site.

Third night...

Actually, I fell asleep last night at around 6:00AM (I say around because that was the last time I looked at the clock).

So this would be the first night... again...

But I'm done now so sleepy time and hope I don't miss my 3PM class!
567  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 15 April 2009, 06:31:43
I'm starting to know what Mikero feels like.

This is the second night I'm going to have to stay up doing homework. I'm not alone, as I have several other friends in the same predicament.

*sigh*

I don't know if I can make it through this night.

I couldn't remember, damn it. I forgot it even existed until today!

I was trying to remember where I know Adventure Time from. After a quick search on Google, I found the video that the artwork was based off of.

Not sure if it was linked here before, but it's the best cartoon-based thing I've seen in years. And there's going to be a TV series of it too!

BUT THERE'S A PART

AND ITS LIKE

-------o
W    E|  W = Breakable Wall, E = Boss Enemy
-------o

AND ITS LIKE IMPOSSIBLE TO HIT WITHOUT BLOWING THE WALL
572  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Favorite difficult part? on: 12 April 2009, 04:27:07
No, I mean, I promise you I never have. I've never even tried it.

I didn't even REALIZE that those breakable walls were there until now.

How the hell did you even do that part then?
573  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 12 April 2009, 03:03:28
I liked the bears on the hores the best.
574  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Favorite difficult part? on: 12 April 2009, 00:43:20
I used to just Crash Bomb the desired walls, let myself die, run back through the level to refill, and try again.

Isn't that the only way to do it?

Today, I received in the mail my copy of the Mother 3 Handbook; First Edition, so it also came with that Courage Badge Key-chain.

<3

It's one of the most professional "walkthroughs" I looked at so far. And I use the term "walkthrough" because it's more fun to read than it is to follow to beat the game (not that I'd need to use it anyway).

581  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 5 April 2009, 02:57:08
I just finished watching Back To The Future Part II today. I also saw the first one for the first time yesterday.

Good movies, going to see the last one. However, I'd probably appreciate them more if I saw them when I was younger. Like with Star Wars Ep. 4-6, I really like them but if I saw them for the first time recently rather than when I was a kid I don't know if I'd like them as much.
582  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 5 April 2009, 02:53:03

It's a wonder I still haven't had a single sip of alchohol or a single hit of weed.

I haven't drank too much myself. However, the most I've drank so far was this Thursday and Friday. I had Sake, and I was very much disappointed with it, seeing as anime made it sound like the best thing ever. It just tasted like watered-down wine (well, it IS rice wine) to me, and I'll probably never drink it again.

Now I do wish I had some actual quality wine, just like I used to drink back at home. I didn't think I would miss drinking a glass a day.
585  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 4 April 2009, 06:02:47
Why hate it? It's a great game.

Anyway, right now I'm playing some Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Zeldafest I'm in.

I've gotten all the way to the second dungeon in one day (although three sittings).

I'm still not done for the night... I'm stupidly determined to at least get the Tempered Sword. @_@
586  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 3 April 2009, 20:32:55
It came out in Japan and is coming here soon.

There's speculation that it might be out this Monday.

I just hope the move onto Virtual Console ends up being better than the terrible GCN port;

Haha, this is like a hilarious sitcom misunderstanding.

She's one of my close friends. Hence the hearts. They weren't sarcastic hearts, haha. And you just called her a bitch! Oh, the hilarity.

At least I made someone laugh. :/

The post that made me facepalm myself so hard that my hand flew off was the one where the guy suggested to keep calling him a murderer so that he learns his lesson.

I really want to believe that he's kidding or trolling, I really do.
594  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 27 March 2009, 04:10:28
I think I talked about Minish Cap earlier:

Basically, it's just incredibly mediocre. It's got all the Zelda elements, but nothing stands out, and nothing's really bad. It's like a straight line, with no pros and no cons.

All you said that you played it for an hour, but yeah. I think that's what made me not like the game all that much.

There's one con for me, the game often leaves you in the dark about what to actually go and do, so I spent some time wandering trying random #####. And Zelda games can get complicated with their puzzles, so if you don't even know where you're supposed to be headed that'll ##### you up because you keep trying to solve puzzles that aren't there (yet).

This too. I ran around in that swamp for two hours before I finally found that dungeon.
595  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Chaos Creations on: 27 March 2009, 04:08:17
Cool beans.

Personally, I'd try to mimic the 8-bit look; I wouldn't care about limitations of the NES and stuff.

I like the Final Fantasy one more, but they're all pretty good.
599  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 27 March 2009, 03:13:48
My favourite portable Zelda games are the Oracle games, first Ages and Seasons second. Link's Awakening comes third, but I may have liked it first if I had more nostalgic feelings towards it, since I played it AFTER the Oracle games.

I never liked Minish Cap all too much either. Not sure why, it's not a bad Zelda game but it's not good either, I guess. Didn't have all that much fun playing through it.

Also, i lovs majoras mask u guies suck stfu
600  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 26 March 2009, 16:58:19
You can not move the card to another Wii and play your games from there.
I paid for the things, and I should be able to play them wherever I want to, so until they fix that it's merely a space-saving device.

Oh, and don't even think about trying to mess with the files; if you read they suggest that they just delete anything you've tampered with. I know what they've done; they've put some big horrible checksums around various bits of data and then entire thing just to make it nigh impossible to pirate (which I respect, but if they've gone to this trouble then IT SHOULD BE SAFE TO PLAY THEM ON OTHER WIIS).

People can bring their VC games to my Wii and I can play them. Well, maybe not anymore but that should be fixed soon.

I also have EarthBound as a VC game, lawlz.

Although, I agree. You should be able to play them on other Wiis- just make it so that you can't copy them.
