All you mothertruckers have like orange and red connections.
Not my internet's fault, I live on the West Coast and routinely get <100ms ping to UT3 and CoD4 servers in Ontario/Eastern States. I seriously hope it's just a ghastly inefficiency in Nintendo's matchmaking and connection service, because that can probably be patched out. If it's a fundamental error in the design of the wireless card itself... not so much.
1352  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Good news and bad news on: 9 April 2008, 00:36:13
Bah, that would never work. Everyone knows the future is in mass-produced quasi-platformers with semi-RPG elements.
1353  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who created Zero??? on: 9 April 2008, 00:33:34
Just as long as it's not Wiley one.
1354  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Ask Doctor Wily on: 9 April 2008, 00:21:09
Dr. Wily, are you going to smite Yubi Shines for answering questions in your thread?
1355  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Delectible Foods are a Fun Eat on: 8 April 2008, 01:45:17
Not bacon, not cold cut ham, ham. Just a big a ham. I hate it.

...

...

...

I really have no way to respond to that.

I will hate pickled beets until the day I die.

Good move. Avoid Slavic cuisine like the plague.
1356  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: What it Truly is to be a Maverick. on: 8 April 2008, 01:35:10
Yeah, imagine the frustration of trying to make those damned double-jumps with only bombs :S
1357  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Good news and bad news on: 7 April 2008, 04:53:09
Yeah, I think he only meant to hit the E once, but unfortunately it had a bit of ice on it.

He obviously doesn't drink coffee when he's watching radar.
1359  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 April 2008, 21:18:09
You clearly know nothing about the NBA and should've stopped talking before starting.
I heartily agree.

But I approve of your background subject. Although I find the art just, uhf, the same old kind of stuff, even though it's well done. SCII should have way more kickass pictures than that boring jargon.
Like I said, rather bland. I could have used one of the teaser screenshots, but that would be far too busy and hide my shortcuts (what few I have at the moment), so I just picked up one of Blizzard's promo wallpapers instead.
1360  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 April 2008, 05:54:14
I'm going to try to forget I just looked at that.

My own is fairly bland, but what can I do? I have no real image-editing talent or training at this point.

1361  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 6 April 2008, 03:17:18
Hahahah, someone else who played Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure! Indeed a great game.
1362  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 5 April 2008, 06:43:37
I've gotten re-addicted to my SNES :S

1364  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Casting call for MegaMan: The Movie on: 5 April 2008, 04:47:21
Flat blue paint would fix that up pretty quick :D
1365  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Casting call for MegaMan: The Movie on: 4 April 2008, 23:26:46
Tron?
I must admit I'm getting a similar vibe from it as well. Except not quite as much Tron and a little bit of 'what's with all the grey plating'.
1366  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Dreams on: 4 April 2008, 23:22:04
I subscribe to the 'something's not quite right here' brand of nightmares. It's the same damn premise every time. Something... just isn't quite right. The foolish inconsistencies crop up throughout the two or three minutes I experience this, then I 'wake up' from what was obviously a screwed-up dream, then I feel some sort of wind (or any sort of air pressure across my body) for ten to twenty seconds until I finally decide I've had enough and pull out. I brand it a 'nightmare' for lack of a better term.

Strangest thing is this is all accomplished within five or ten minutes of my falling asleep, which I thought rather impossible.
1367  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: So Yeah... F-ZERO!? on: 1 April 2008, 04:01:11
I liked the N64 one, because it was "That one REALLY fast racing game" that everyone talked about.

You've obviously never played Wipeout 64 at Phantom speed with the Piranha II.
1368  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who wants an X Command mission 2? on: 25 March 2008, 23:21:48
I'm afraid we're a dying race. Soon there will be no more people who exclusively like good games, and the shovelware empire will establish its hold over the gaming industry forever.
1369  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who wants an X Command mission 2? on: 25 March 2008, 23:12:21
That would be contrary to their cash-cow nature.

This should be fun. *grabs popcorn*
1371  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 25 March 2008, 23:04:10
I must have 230 songs by now. Lots and lots of Brawl will do that to you.
1372  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 25 March 2008, 02:18:11
You get NOTHING! You LOSE! Good DAY sir!
1373  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: The *ahem* collection on: 24 March 2008, 03:19:50
The only way to make the run any faster than about 40 minutes is to cut out all the items anyway, which makes for some frustrating deaths at random-ish times.
1374  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: The *ahem* collection on: 23 March 2008, 20:53:47
I just killed X1 in a matter of 55 minutes.

<3 the SNES controller.

Only 21 minutes to go 'till you beat SDA's record, and 18 'till you beat mine :D

I dash with R, unfortunately the hinge for the button is broken so I'll have to file my L button down to make it fit in the R button slot.
1375  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: MMPU.. Epic comeback! on: 23 March 2008, 18:56:47
Dude, do you realize it was made to attract younger kids?

Dude, do you realize that was the aim of the ENTIRE SERIES?!?!
1376  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: The *ahem* collection on: 23 March 2008, 18:55:44
You could remap the controls in the original releases too. Additionally, I don't know what you're talking about - SNES controller is more comfortable by far in my hands than PSX/PS2/GCN controller.

One more gripe that I forgot to throw in there - I suspect they used recordings instead of an actual reproduction of the SPC, because fadeouts got nuked.
1377  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Robot Evolution on: 22 March 2008, 22:30:07
I don't think the 2005 rerelease included the special foreword by Kyle Reese either. If anything, it's more irrelevant.
1378  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 22 March 2008, 22:24:31
I doubt it, but of course I'm never going to be a big stage-building guy anyway.
1379  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMM Super Smash Bros Brawl Tournament (STARTS NOW) (ENDS FRIDAY) on: 22 March 2008, 02:35:27
'Ey! I could have played my Luigi a LOT more than I did.
1380  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 21 March 2008, 02:43:46
Xero has the most annoying play style I have EVER come across. EVER. No one is that evasive, dammit!
1381  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMM Super Smash Bros Brawl Tournament (STARTS NOW) on: 18 March 2008, 22:33:40
I dropped in and out, playing a few games with level9 computers in between.

Good game; took me a little while to get used to the lag again, but I managed to turn a 4-2 deficit into a one-stock game. Congrats Vinny and good luck!
1382  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMM Super Smash Bros Brawl Tournament (STARTS NOW) on: 18 March 2008, 21:10:54
Fatso, I'm ready when you are.

I'll be on Wii-fi in 15-20 minutes, just have a couple things to take care of first.
1383  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: MMM Super Smash Bros Brawl Tournament (STARTS NOW) on: 18 March 2008, 17:08:20
I love the brilliant commentary you provide in between lives.
1384  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Gems on X, Zero, Axl head? on: 17 March 2008, 20:56:21
I had two, they each lasted exactly five months and then crapped out. I know what you mean :(
1385  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 16 March 2008, 20:48:01
Four player battles are only slow for the first five or ten seconds, then they tend to even out.
1386  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 16 March 2008, 03:43:58
I have a slightly adjusted schedule there.

Sleep.
Went to work.
Worked.
Went home.
Brawl.
Got hair cut (took like five inches off, too - I look like a completely different person now)
Brawl.
More Brawl.
Food.
COD4.
When I finish posting this, more Brawl.
1387  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 15 March 2008, 23:24:08
Nice. Nice.

I just played Basic Brawl on WiFi. It was pretty good, no delays or lags.

A couple of others afterward though... chock full of lag.

Wow. I have yet to find a single Basic Brawl opponent.
1388  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 14 March 2008, 02:21:45
I'm still sticking generally to characters with moves that take advantage of my 1337 B-button spamming skills (Luigi, Metaknight, NOT ICECLIMBERS THOUGH, I WILL NOT PLAY ICECLIMBERS)
1389  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 14 March 2008, 01:57:22
I seriously hate how cheap you are Vinni.
You always use Sonic and then just spam his moves that make him invulnerable, you never leave any chance to be hit. That's really unfair.
Also, you almost always use a 3rd party character, and it's extremely obvious that their strength is far greater than that of all the 1st party characters.
Cheeeeeeeeeap.

Also, Xero, enough with Jigglypuff, so freakin' cheap.

...

Jigglypuff... cheap? What?! Good, yes. Cheap, no.

Besides, the lag is so bad that Rest doesn't even work properly.
1390  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 14 March 2008, 00:25:07
Epic duels, Xero. I think I'm finally beginning to get the hang of the lag.
1391  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 13 March 2008, 20:51:46
I'm in. Updating my friendlist today to round off the list.

I'm still not very good at playing with lag :( I'm sure it will come with a few more days' online practice.
1392  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 13 March 2008, 01:31:17
OD, I'm not seeing you. Try rebooting your WFC?
1393  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 13 March 2008, 01:24:39
That would be me :D

EDIT: I think most of the freezes I had in my 1v1 with 'Max' are associated with my dad hogging all the bandwidth playing COD4. Sorry :(
1394  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: GENERAL X SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 12 March 2008, 17:36:33
Silk Shot works well against the cannons as well (if you didn't manage to pick up the Body part).
1395  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes on: 12 March 2008, 17:33:21
I've tried about twenty to thirty times with no results.
1396  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Wii Address Codes/Friend codes on: 12 March 2008, 02:41:05
Wii: 4261 2020 2149 0638

Brawl: 0989 1445 9678

Adding everyone on the list as of now. Shall we play a game?
1397  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 11 March 2008, 02:28:13
Played some SSE, played some matches... Though I've only unlocked three characters, one of them is Luigi, so my game is essentially complete at this point :D

With everyone spamming the WFC with net games, I haven't been able to maintain my connection for more than three or four minutes. I'll try again tomorrow.
1398  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: "Un"Official Brawl Update Topic on: 11 March 2008, 02:21:52
I love how many B-spam recoveries there are in this game. Practically everyone has a special move in which spamming B sends you soaring skyward. Meta Knight simply will NOT go off the side or bottom.
1399  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: The *ahem* collection on: 9 March 2008, 03:51:32
That means you DON'T know what you're saying the OTHER half of the time!
