Today I went to GameStop and sold some games so I can have some money...

I sold Super Paper Mario, Mario Party 8, MegaMan X7, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Heroes and a few others I can't remember. I made $42. (and I spent like $250 buying those games... geez.)

With the money I got from it, I bought a Wii points card (for MegaMan 9) and decided to get Dead Rising for the 360.

I'm probably gonna go download Super Mario RPG off the Virtual Console now.

I just met the people in my section.

At my residence, each floor has five different colours, I'm in the section where the colour is brown.

Everyone in this section seem pretty awesome, even the RA.

And now I'm going to go fake gambling.

If my building had colors, and my section wasn't green, I'd demand a room switch.

The best part about college so far is that I really have worn nothing but green shirts this entire time.

Heh.

So... instead of fake gambling, I got greeted by a guy with his friend and his girlfriend and then we went to his girlfriend's room and offered me a beer.

The beer is gross. We did nothing but watch stand-up (and you know I dislike stand-up) and then we went to the courtyard when the fake gambling was over.

I did see David Blaine though.

Which comedians do you watch? And why do you dislike stand-up? Man, ##### you.

I bet you'll watch me when I'm famous.

On another note, I still have 7 more green shirts and I'm doing laundry tomorrow. I also have 5 regular other-color shirts. I don't want to do laundry, but contrary to my abundance of green shirts, I am running out of pants.

Not that I really WANT to wear pants.

Laundry, though. #####. Moooooooooom.

Laundry is easy period.

Who dislikes stand-up AND beer? Maybe one, but not both!

David Blaine is a serious patoot.

Laundry is pretty easy. Just expensive.

I dislike stand-up because nothing really happens. I mean, sure, its funny at times but it tends to get redundant.

I've never had beer before. I really don't want to try it again.

And, well, he wasn't David Blaine. But he did some pretty cool card tricks. In one, half of the cards were flipped in the deck. He got someone to choose a card (ten of hearts). And then he spread the cards and the ten was the only one flipped up.

Riddle me this, what's worse than David Blaine? Criss Angel. What's worse than Criss Angel? David Blaine and Criss Angel impersonators.

"Magic" is generally pretty damn lame. I can't tell you the amount of times my personal time has been raped by losers trying to show me their card tricks illusions. I really just don't care.

I start college classes today!
I have 4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Each are an hour and 15 minutes long.

On Monday and Friday, I have one 50 minute class.
On Wednesday, I have that same class, but another one later in the day for 50 minutes.

My class starts at 12:00 PM today.

All of my classes are three hours long each...

And then I have another class right at 3:30 PM.

I have a feeling that I'm going to hate Tuesdays the most this year.

I found out that all my classes are really close to each other, which is great, because there is one instance where two classes are 15 minutes apart.

Another good thing is that the earliest class I have is at 9:30AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while it's 10AM on Mondays and Wednesdays. My roommate has classes as early as 7AM. Ha.

All my classes are bunched up in the afternoon and end with marching band every day, so it's not that bad. From 6PM on, I'm free for the rest of every night. And Sleeping in till around 9AM every morning is definitely not a bad deal.

Plus I'm taking ##### like "Film Appreciation."

I also have Math which is in a portable, thats gonna make winter days hell.. Then I have Manufacturing Technology, which is wood working ##### etc, not bad. And finally an English class with probably the most fine looking teacher in the school! This year should be alright!

Ahahaha Film Interpretation ("Appreciation" as I accidentally said) is a joke.

On Mondays and Wednesdays, we go and watch a movie. Most if it is either stuff I haven't heard of before but sound interesting, movies I've wanted to see for a while (Citizen Kane, The Birds), or good movies that I don't mind seeing again (The Sixth Sense, Psycho.)

And then on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we meet for 50 minutes and talk about it.

I at least assumed there would be big writing assignments about what we thought of each movie.

Nope.

A grand total of three exams with 50 multiple choice questions each. And no final exam.

...in OTHER news...

...I had a #####ing fabulous idea.

More on that later.

What the ##### kind of class is only 50 minutes? The shortest post education classes I've ever had where two hours.

Anyway portables are worse in the summer heat than the winter cold.

So. School today.. I really want something good to watch in the morning, Fresh prince is only on at 7am and I'm up and about at 7:30, and TBS is showing ##### shows like The Nanny.

The Nanny was hilarious, you gaylord.

The Nanny sucked and you know it, Mike. Fran Dreshcer is an annoying skank and doesn't deserve her own TV show.

No you are a homoking. I liked that show back in the day, and tolerate the reruns out of nostalgia and Fran Drescher is very much not a slag if you know about what happened to her before she was ever C-list famous.

Fran FINE, her character, is pretty much a skank and far more annoying (voice is exaggerated), yes.

Not likely, queer boat! You must be talking about the gay old days! Even if Fran Drescher traveled to Mars 3 times and back doing some sort of witty action that would signify greatness I still wouldn't consider watching that or have a positive opinion about it.

The only good character in that show is the butler, because as we all obviously know, butlers are the only good source of humor in assy shows.

Well, you might know where I'm going with this. I love series crossovers btw.

So, I had my first two classes today.

Game Development I... doesn't seem like it'll be bad. We didn't start anything yet because our teacher made us introduce ourselves to each other.

Game Development I is the only other class that I have twice in the same week. It's basically a programming course. Teacher seems cool, maybe he'll actually teach me something, unlike the last programming teacher I had...

Communications I... ugh... 3 hour English classes are NOT fun.

Everyone in my class is the same for all of my classes, pretty much. Everyone is a video game nerd. EVERYONE.

Two classes today for me: Discrete Mathematics I and Principles of Microeconomics. The difference in class sizes is immense (150 for the math and almost 500 for economics) but they both seem to be straightforward classes, so I should have little difficulty.

My professors both have slightly asshole tendencies, which is great. I love that kind of teacher.

Tomorrow I'll get a taste of my other three classes, and won't that be fun.

I started classes as well.
All classes on Tuesday and Thursday and an hour and 15 minutes.
I have 4 back to back starting at 9:30, 15 minute break between each.
That means 15 minutes to go to dining commons and eat lunch and get to my next class.
Ugh.
After my last class, I have TWENTY minutes to get to football.
Which lasts until 6:00.
Then dinner, as it closes at 6:30.
Basically, Tuesdays and Thursdays are gonna SUCK.
Mondays and Fridays, one 50 minute class. Calculus. At 9:00 AM.
Woot.
Same deal Wednesday but I have a small required class at 12:30 for half an hour.

It shall be interesting.
I have about 2-3 hours of work to do on my first night.

And while we're at it, I want a spadillion dollars.

Posted on:  3 September 2008, 15:15:31

So far, no classes today until 2.

Because we didn't have the movie-watching part of Film Interpretation today. Hehe.

Also, I tried to install Google Chrome but it doesn't work for me, for whatever reason. It actually looks pretty cool. Every time I load it up, though, it spews error codes at me and nothing seems to work, so I just uninstall it again. Which is funny, because when you do that, it says "Are you sure you want to uninstall Google Chrome? (Was it something we said?)" and I got at least a smile out of that.

I usually don't care for new browsers, especially since Firefox interests me zero to one and I really just dislike it entirely.

But. Yeah.

I like Google. Thought I'd give them a chance.

They spat in my face.
