101  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: GEE!!! WHY AM I NOT #####ING SURPRISED!? on: 23 April 2008, 21:24:50
Sorry, God... as in me, got tired of Megaman.

You're all doomed unless I see offerings. I'll bring Megaman 9 and X9... and yes, even Legends 3 if I see offerings.

Lots of offerings.
102  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 12 April 2008, 07:30:27
Hey Ares, haven't seen you in a while...

Eh, ya know, life and all that.

Been busy at RPM too. *yawns* What's new?

You're such a pretty little girl. Daddy's proud of you. *hugs* ^_^

Don't test me, I'm on my period... And I'm still not a girl.

I can fix that if you let me disect you.
103  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 12 April 2008, 00:07:56
Thanks for the welcome, everyone. Wow... So Sano's still here, is he? He's a funny little boy. XD

I have two options.
I can either, 'A', complain about that and state that I am a man, or, 'B', I can be thankful you didn't call me a girl like everyone else does from time to time.

You're such a pretty little girl. Daddy's proud of you. *hugs* ^_^

Welcome aboard Nobody. >_>

*wind blows as Ares appears from the dust*

I return to MMM and find PROGRESS. I am proud, Rock... proud to call you SON. *dodges glares from Sano*

And as your maker, I better still be a part of this game. I hath not forgotten the promises of greatness and they shall not go undone! I'm watching you...

In short, good job. XD
105  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians! FIGHT! -A random impulse Comic Jam!- on: 21 January 2008, 02:07:23
Ares loves his son.

Come to me, give dad a hug.
106  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: HI! on: 18 January 2008, 07:23:03

Wow, Morgan.

Dude... it's been like, ages.

Welcome home.
108  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Battlefield 2142... Do you play eeet? on: 21 December 2007, 18:07:17
So... How about that Battlefield 2142? There's like... a 21 and a 24 in the name.

It's actually a decent game. If me AND SB play it, there must be something worthwhile there, right? RIGHT?!

No really though. It's a battlefield set in... 2142.

It's supposed to be the futrere.

There's supposed to be moar war in the future too. And ice, lots of ice and gianormous ships.
109  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Battlefield 2142... Do you play eeet? on: 21 December 2007, 07:40:54
I really don't see how the picture was total ass kissing, maybe a bit over dramatic, but it was simply a joke. I see your point though, it does kiss ass, but I didn't actually expect it to be called ass kissing in the first place, a picture with some letters, slapped together in paint.

Lower tier MMMers were always like that... but perhaps not this excessive.

That's sadly made of near equal fail as the nub who left the building recently.
¬_¬

Yes, that means you. >_>

There's an astonishing amount of ass kissing going on in here

What a bloody rip off... I REALLY want my refund now.
113  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: That ol' Sprite Thread on: 19 December 2007, 19:45:56
Starting to make edits for custom RO classes -- a dragoon, right now. Edits are going slowly, despite efforts to keep it simple enough that I can replicate them over dozens of sprites without exploding. Also, run-on sentence.

Probably will make arm-armor spikier and more dragonish, when am more awake.

Custom RO classes you say? Is there a server where this is planned to be used? Always wanted to see who could produce decent custom classes, albeit Aeon is the leading competitor in such.

115  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Console Wars on: 19 December 2007, 16:37:35
Never really knew Fink, so his relevence here over my son is nothing to me. *shrugs*

Go lay down somewhere, nub.

Incidently... consoles, consoles... Alot can be said about Consoles.

The only thing keeping Nintendo from "winning" this console gen is Nintendo.  And by that I mean then need to encourage more traditional games on the Wii as well as diversify the selection of genres.  I know a lot of the Wii's library right now is shovelware and mini/party games, but given the initial marketing goal of the Wii, I can forgive the former.  But now that we've got a smash hit, I think you'll see more actual games being developed for it.  Much like the DS's initial run, the Will will bloom game wise, and then I think that's going to that for this gen.

PS3 looks like it will get some good stuff eventually, but I have no desire or need to go high def yet.  I certainly don't need blue ray.  Sony has a solid history of good 3rd party support, so once they get into gear and get serious about producing/supporting a GAME CONSOLE and not trying to win a DVD+ format war, we might just get some good stuff out of them.  Until then, I have no intrest in the PS3 or it's overpriced hardware.

360 hold no intrest for me at all.  I don't like online games, FPS, sports games or, well, that's really about 90% of what X-box has always had.  So yeah, couple that with the utterly abysmal hardware failure rate, and I have no plans to ever own any Xbox system.  The general level of stupidity of today's gammers is the only thing that keeps Microsoft in the game (well that and hundreds of millions of dollars of disposable income to flush on it).

I think Rez sums up my thoughts on this generation of Consoles for now.
116  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: That ol' Sprite Thread on: 17 December 2007, 01:49:57
While I don't particularly mind EXE version of Protoman... hell I perfer it over any other version honestly, I don't particularly care for the endless Zero recolors myself.

This is MADNESS and it must be STOPPED.

I call in... Morgan! Morgan from the DEPTHS of Real Life!

It is the original version after all... and one of the best themes (regardless of variation) that was ever made by Nobuo Uematsu... and he's made alot of good stuffz.

That's definately one thing the FF series has going for it. *shrugs*

Either way, nicely done Snare-san. Brings back memories and emotions.
118  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who created Zero??? on: 15 December 2007, 23:15:02
He stole his Ph.D.

And there you have it. Whoever said you can't make a career out of theft was a jackass.

Really though, Wily created Zero to stop the Evil Dr.Light and his Maverick Virus from taking over the world.

Plain and simple. Zero caught the virus from X however and then went on a rampage, while the evil X was sealed away due to damages in his battle against our hero, Zero.

After that, Roll seduced Zero and managed to deactivate him after a... "exciting struggle" and sealed him away to awaken, yatta yatta, history and so on.
119  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: Started a new game again... on: 13 December 2007, 06:50:59
One of the more dorkier moments in the entire franchise for me is a fond Legends moment, where you look around in one of the random ruins and find an "Old Shield" item, and it always makes me question if it's Protoman's good ol shield somehow...

I should get the PSP Ports of these someday, seeing as I lost my PSX versions with all the moving I do ><

You too huh? Alot of the items really made me wonder about the ruins in general, but the shield really stood out.

Maybe it was just because of how I was back then, but the dig sites and various ruins all felt like a real mystery. I often looked at the walls, taking in the surroundings often wondering what "led" up to all this. It was interesting to treat the game like an actual mystery and I found it to be more enjoyable by actually treating the dig as just that... a dig.

But then hey, that might be odd to some, I just get too indepth with my stories I guess.

BN is just a shoddy excuse for an action-RPG, and doesn't even manage to pull it off well.
Aresian is just a shoddy excuse for a member, and doesn't even manage to pull it off well.

*watches Rez put you in your place*

Foo, I'm the best member at MMM! Matrix is dedicated to ME!

Battle Network WAS a fine series for the first 3 games.  The last 3 are as #####ty as any MMZ or X7.  And ALL the side games are complete #####.  Battle Chip Challange and Network Transmission.  Both utter rubbish.

Even still, BN isn't what's wrong.  It, like X, is a fine example of a good series that was brutaly raped into something that was complete #####.

QFT, though I like EXE5 (DS) and EXE 6 was alright. Just my personal opinion.

Just the same, we all know that ZX world is so advanced that interactive holographic porn is SO believeable.

Though I could go for some cookies.

128  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: GENERAL ZERO SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 11 December 2007, 23:16:20
Actually it was never suppose to be the actual character from slayers.  Hazard just did a sprite for him and I went with it.  But it wasn't too long before He did up an actual custom sprite that eventually became what I use today.  A Red Priesty thing.  But the tomatoe stick remains.

History lesson continues.

I know, I know. I just love pulling your leg. I didn't get a fun response this time though. *poke poke* You might be broken.
129  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: GENERAL ZERO SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 11 December 2007, 22:29:24
Only vets or old time members know the true origins of my Tomatoe Stick and Nibbles.  Woe be to you whom does not know thier splendor or power.

The "tomatoe stick" is my staff.  My old OLD Rezo sprite's staff looked like a stick with a tomato on it.  Tomatoe is a funny misspelling of tomato so that's what stuck.  Nibbles is my vorpol bunny.

Now that you know, feel free to cower in fear.

YOUR CARCTUR IS UNORIGENAL

Ahem, anyway, yeah, it's Rez. The OLDEST member of the MM community. Older than his sprite. >_> *throws DJ infront of him*

Looking good AA.

But the head could have a bit more color to it. Like this.

I'll work on the shading some other time.

What's important is, Megaman Axl Progress  ;)

Stay true to yourself! Axl is all important! Never let the grumps and nubs at MMM tell you otherwise! Axl is the hero of Megaman's future!

133  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: Would YOU pay 15 MILLION for a Legends 3? on: 11 December 2007, 00:38:10
But but... Axl has yaoi fangirls that smother him with... oh wait. This isn't a good point at all.

Lets see... Ah yes! Axl has EIGHT angles of gun totting madness! It's like that Bass fello... oh... that's been done before.

HEY! He has that copy ability that allows him to become an enemy for about 5 seconds and sluggishly move around.

Oh #####. Well damn...
134  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: Zero Complete Work Discussion on: 11 December 2007, 00:16:33
Sorry Aresian, I don't swing that way.

Aww.

No really though, you don't have to be so formal, Rez. It IS me after all, good ol' Ares/Wild Eagle. ^_-

Never the less, yes... that's Matrix's charm. It's why I've praised the place ever so much over the years. The staff are, in essence... like regular members. Why shouldn't they treat everyone as they treat themselves and vice versa? When it isn't a matter of Board and Site Security, regular communication should be the norm. It's what seperates machines from people, they have their own personalities and ways of thinking.

Just the same, you should be able to speak openly about your thoughts and feelings aswell, while still maintaining some form of respect. I believe that is the most common sensical way of thinking, honestly.
135  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: GENERAL ZERO SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 11 December 2007, 00:02:26
Metool > Metall, sorry.

Vile = Boba Fett rip off of epic coolness (so MHX won't be included in this)

Wiel = insulting Wily wannabe.

The main point is we're on an English language MEGA MAN board, and there are enough differences that you should not mix the terminology.  You want to talk about Rockman, go to a Japanese site.

Metall = Truth. >_>

VAVA = Lame name, not arguing, still truth.

Wiel = Why does Wiel exist, Papa Rez?
136  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: Zero Complete Work Discussion on: 11 December 2007, 00:01:22
Well, I think you're finally starting to see the light. MMM is a place of serious debate with many different kinds of thoughts and feelings, clashed together. Not so much as it was back then, but it still contains that flavor.

Ben, if you can stick it through, you will have lots of interesting experiences here. If not... well, you'll get swallowed up by the more dedicated and dare I say, stubborn fans.

I'm glad I helped respark the subject with my blantant posts, even if my main goal was to ##### with Rez.

I love #####ing with Rez.
137  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: GENERAL ZERO SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 10 December 2007, 21:59:11
Mettaur = Mettall

EXE series had it right, Classic didn't.

Metool is blasphemy created by Capcom of America. Incorrect translation.
138  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: GENERAL ZERO SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 10 December 2007, 21:54:52
Who says I compare everything else? It's just Megaman. Besides the differences are very minor and barely noticeable. If theres some worth pointing out, bring'em to my attention.

*slap* Reread SB's post, you silly rittle mahn!

Incidently.

Capcom of America doesn't translate Megaman. It alters the storyline quite frequently.

Megaman Xtreme is a good mini-example, where Vile was VAVA as it was ment to be, but not in X1.

TLO looks pretty well off...

Don't be blind, it's clearly all just Matrix Stock. Once Matrix's Stock Market crashes, TLO will be broke as a joke.

Least you're honest and unwavering. That is admirable in a person, even if you are beyond stubborn. *laughs*

Oh well, I've contributed as much as I can to the actual topic, since ya know... NO ONE has 15 million of THEIR money to spare.

No one here anyway.
143  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: Would YOU pay 15 MILLION for a Legends 3? on: 10 December 2007, 20:29:35
Axl isn't the CAUSE he's the poster boy for the cause as he embodies all that is bad.  Big difference there chum!

I was speaking in general. Many have said otherwise, so I noted them aswell.

*shrugs* It's all so very sad, since most of the vets to the series will see him as nothing more.
144  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: Would YOU pay 15 MILLION for a Legends 3? on: 10 December 2007, 20:19:25
Irrelevent discussion is irrelevent. There will always be those who hate and blame Axl for everything that's happened up to this point and there will always be Axl fans aswell. I still like Axl, so I could give a rat's ass what is said, just the same as I'm sure Rez could give a rat's ass what the Axl fans say.

Well, I'm sure Rez'll get more pissed at best, but no one cares at this point.

Legends 3... in conclusion, no I wouldn't 15 Million. They're gonna make it anyway, to tie in the series to ZX.

Yeah I keep confusing them like I confuse you and Chaos Vortex... Heh.

... HOW could you possibly confuse us.

And no, there is no secret stash of Mega Man H here.  Blame Abominator for that.  Family Friendly and all that.  I spent years and thousands of dollars lobbying for a secret H section, which would make Matrix TRUELY complete.  Alas Abominator was too absorbed with Buffy, the Beetles and Haggus to hear my well thought out and highly detailed business plans.  Such a shame really.  Anyway, what was I saying?  Oh, yes.  I hate things.  Now get off my lawn.

I love you, Rez.

Where the hell is Nall, anyway?
Back in his channel like always.
