Title: The Conspiracy Thread.
Post by: Winged Warrior on 30 July 2008, 01:31:55
Man, The topics here have really gotten boring lately huh?

I mean, I quote rez...
Even lamers these days suck.  Everything sucks now.
Follow me on this one. Maybe, Just maybe, Capcom made all their new portable games to screw with us. Yes, the games screwed with everyone, but I mean in paticular, The members that congregate the Megaman Matrix. To create new traffic, but only that of people who think bass is a cool virus busting Navi.

We must defeat them at their own game, With pure Unfounded BULL#####. With this turd covered rope, we will Enjoy these fool hearty attempts against 'the man' so hard that capcom will have no choice but to bow down to our mighty idiocy.

Let me give you an example of how we are going to pull this off, Post your favourite conspiracy that you have either created in tandom, or that you have heard, and decided to remember. None of these can break the three rules of Robotics Rules of MMM. So no politics or discriminating  remarks.  Then post it.

Lets say, My theory is that Abe is from Scotland and an evil red monster from the pits of hell controlling our internet lives with an addictive yet satisfying forum.

We all know that Abe isn't from Scotland. The whole Idea is just silly. Hence hilarity ensues.

Hopefully Everyone will provide an unique feel that I haven't felt from this forum in a while, and that it won't be closed because someone cannot follow the rules...
Either way, Your turn.

They're espionage tools the government uses for tracking purposes. All that metal. The ones with wonky wheels are transmitting.

I think the government commisions Hollywood to make crazy and outlandish movies out of their real secret government experiences just to make everyone think "oh, that could never happen in real life!"

When it really is real.

Jurassic Park and zombies are true things, The Day After Tomorrow is actually going to happen the day after tomorrow, we're all living in The Matrix, and Men In Black is a real organization.

A fun messed up one that made me laugh. A guy was 'warning' Me on the street waiting for a light.

"You know you really should watch out, You see those things up there, Those 'traffic' lights,  Those things are spraying you with chemicals. I know what your thinking, there's no chemicals. Your wrong. Think about it, Radio waves ARE chemicals, The government is testing those radio waves on you. Those are what those lights are for, To tell if you are done yet!"

... Someone forgot to tell him that THC is also a chemical.

I can't find the disc for 3 so I'll be starting 4 tomorrow.

That reminds me a question I asked myself that I forgot to ask publicly. Every time I start up Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (From MGS:EC), it says it's "Disc 1".

There's only one disc.

I don't like how some of the game pieces are plastic mice and the others are giant full-fledged Transformer toys.

I mean, the cage doesn't even fit over the Transformers.

Title: Re: The Conspiracy Thread.
Post by: Mikero on 31 July 2008, 05:09:26
That's because the cage is part of the whole area, and the whole area is an autobot, just like Autobot City had a part of it that was a transformer itself (named Metroplex).

High Fructose Corn Syrup.
How much can you get out of corn anyways?
Not much, corn, per acre, doesn't really have a high product yield.

Why use CORN syrup? the High Fructose version doesn't have anything at all like corn in it, it's just sugar from corn.
Truth be told, if we used High Fructose Sugar Beet syrup, each acre of product would require half the maintenance and yield more than 20 times MORE sugar.
Why don't we use this highly cost effective method?
Politics.
Corn Politics.
Companies cannot back down on the products from corn companies, because there is less money in it for the farmers.

This is 100% true.
I read it on an outhouse wall.

Well if we don't save the rainforests all the corn will be clear-cut anyway right? So we'll have to make a change quickly.

That's how it works, yea? Corn grows in the rainforest in the canopy level and we clear-cut it? Yeah. That's how it works.

Wendy's never frozen patties happen to be... NEVER FROZEN.

I have come to terms, that never freezing one's meat products could lead to situtaions including but not limited to food poisoning. However Wendy's has gotten away with doing this for some time now without repercussions.

This leads one to assume that the restaurant, wanting fresher meat, is locally buying, grinding, forming, cooking, and selling their meat within a 5 mile or less radius from each store...

This is entirely possible, but extremely unlikely.

After more thought I have come to terms that the Wendy's burger is one of the following:

1) In a controversial bid to 'go green' Wendy's has decided to recycle in the strangest of ways, in waste recycling. That's right, when you eat that #####ty burger, you are actually eating 72% post consumer #####ty burger.
Through a sly method of waste filtering before any and all customer waste hits the septic system, allows patties to be formed underground, and then placed, away from any freezing temperature, at a moment's notice. In short, wendy's burgers are litterally #####.

2) A paid assasin on payroll, is noted as janatorial. This assasin is usually trained in the arts of ninjitsu, that way he can spy on customers to see if they came in alone. He then places a laxitive in the burger that the customer orders so that he/she will be forced to go to the restroom.
After said customer is finished, the assassin walks into the stall and shoots the customer with a silenced .44mm, before depositing the body in a secret room. The meat is then  skinned, removed from the bone, ground, and formed into the patties we all know and love.

The only way to combat this is to abide by the following advice. Don't eat #####ty burgers, And don't go alone if you do.

The meat at Wendy's is kept from going bad by use of coolers instead of freezers. They get to claim it's never frozen because it happens to be... never FROZEN. It is however kept cool enough to ensure that it doesn't go bad in an hour.

And Wendy's has far better quality than some other fast food chains, I know this for certain.

CONSPIRACY DEBUNKED.

However there DOES infact exist a Wendy's conspiracy. That conpiracy is that Wendy looks like a jail bait nubile redhead human female of breeding age. This is a huge farce, if you've ever seen what the actual Wendy looked like at the time she became a logo, and I have. And I will show you know;
VIEWER BEWARE, YOU'RE IN FOR SCARE... (http://www.collegiatetimes.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/wendys_wendy.jpg)

And no, that is not a joke. I wish it was, but it's not. I have had a hard time looking directly at the Wendy's logo ever since I saw that beast on a Wendy's documentary.

Wait what's Maglamanic Beta or whatever?

Maglamanic Beta is a planetoid that orbits Maglamanic Alpha (a large planet populated by various races of Reptiloids) in the 654th sector of our Galaxy that is one entire giant refinement project that I send criminals and other various ne'er-do-wells to to work in the spice mines.

The Maglamanic Solar System has few notable places of interest. Maglamanic Alpha being the only place in the system designated for residential use, Beta being a business venture operated locally. Another notable planetoid is Maglamanic Delta, which is actually more of a large satellite at the system's edge used as an early warning system for the population of Maglamanic Alpha in case of an attack from Wild Fire.

Wild Fire is a massive non-sentient alien not unlike fire except in one way: Wild Fire is not fueled by oxygen and can travel the vacuum of space. Wild Fire is a feral being that acts out of instinct, burning any sentient life in it's path. It is, however luckily for your pups, afraid of the planet Earth. Some sort of primal envy, or something. But that's another story for another day kids!

"Awwwwww!"

Sounds Hitchhiker's Guide-ish but isn't.

I know, but I didn't mean that and it wasn't inspired that. I just write like that...

Oh...I've never read that book xD

But I get what you mean.

Fixed.

Well really, you could do that for any of the incarnations of it.

Hitchhiker's Guide is the worst subject matter to use in a "films bad books good" argument, because whether or not you like the movie adaptation, the book itself is an adaptation. So, yeah, my bad.

Any guy reading that book was just thinking the same thing the whole time anyway.

Yeah, the idea behind it fascinated me. I read it in fifth grade, and ever since then I always think, "what if I was forced to do stuff all the time?" It's like woah...

I'd throw something at them, steal their sword, put on some pointy shades and say "Just who the hell do you think I am!?"

And then I'd run away with a little face-mech-thing.

I like the Ella Enchanted movie... (That's right, ##### you all I know it's for girls).

But I've not read the book, or care to. I just think the movie is cute and I have a kindergarten crush on Anne Hathaway and her hokey acting.

I'd throw something at them, steal their sword, put on some pointy shades and say "Just who the hell do you think I am!?"

And then I'd run away with a little face-mech-thing.

Well, that wouldn't be "being forced" now would it? That would just be being told. You need to re-learn your Ellamentary studies.

When I was a kid I read a LOT, and there was like, just some single moment in time between Harry Potter 5 and 6 where the planets all aligned and everybody was standing on their left foot at the same time and every dog was blinking just then... and BAM!

I hardly ever read anymore. I just re-read the same old stuff, and occasionally, very rarely, I find something new.

Ninja's don't read Harry Potter.

Which means you're not a ninja. CONSPIRACY! CONSPI-

As lame as all the merchandising and such has made it, Harry Potter was pretty awesome and still is, even though I'm not a big fan.

They were fun books. I still have to finish the 6th and read the 7th. Neither will happen for a long time, probably.

I don't like the series, I hate it now. But I'd be lying if I didn't say I read them in 5th grade and shat bricks of joy.

My friend loves Harry Potter, I tease her all the time about it. And she teases me about MegaMan. I'll find an advantage.. one day...

Title: Re: The Conspiracy Thread.
Post by: Mikero on 8 August 2008, 01:41:38
I started reading them when I was the age of the characters in the second book, 12 (and at that point, the first three had come out). So it was appropriate timing. I still love them, but I know that if they were coming out now I'd have nothing to do with them.

Ninja's don't read Harry Potter.

Ninja's read Harry Potter's birth certificate BEFORE he was born (which he was) and then written about (which he was).

There's no such thing as East Vancouver. There's Vancouver and Burnaby, nothing in between.

South Vancouver, West Vancouver and North Vancouver, however, all exist.

Anything east of west Vancouver is east Vancouver.

Yes, that's using global logic to state that there is an entire stripe around the world that is east Vancouver.

Only by people born and raised IN Toronto. Which means they are most like either (A) Big, fat, stinky, semi-bearded, booze-y woman. Or (B), a very dumb and untalented man.

That stereotype brought to you by the rest of Canada (mainly the prairies).

ALRIGHT

SO. About that Digimon World game, its looking more and more bleak everytime I try to get it. No matter what I do, it's like some super natural force is keeping me from playing or ever obtaining it. I've gone through numerous ways to get it, including illegal ways, but what pisses me off is I actually got a real copy of the game, thanks to VRock, he generously bought it for me, to which I am extremely grateful, though, the game didn't work. I have no idea why, the disc was in great condition. I'm just so pissed.. and so very very tired of trying for this game.. its a kid game and I probably shouldn't be stressing over it, but it was my favorite game back in the day, and I have a lot of happy memories playing it..

Something is keeping me from playing this game..

I heard about that on something or other but I really do NOT want to watch it.

Another funny story I heard recently is that somewhere, not sure if it's in the U.S. somewhere or in BC somewhere but I'm pretty sure I heard it was west coast, that some people thought a "family" or "school" of bottlenose dolphins was living in some river. Which is, clearly, impossible. They'd have no reason to swim upstream ever really, the ocean has loads of fish for them which is why they're worldwide in the first place. So anyway, some guy decides he's gonna do the whole "swim the dolphins" thing for free. Well, turns out that they are probably sharks. Not only that, but the type of shark they probably are is one of the most common human-biters variety of shark there is. The guy was fine and nothing happened, but still... Who does that? Hell, who thinks bottlenose dolphins are in a river?
