New Ace Attorney Investigations game announced, starring Edgeworth again.

Hell YES. And apparently TGS-goers will be able to play a demo.

According to the Famitsu scans, I read, the game has been in development since September of last year.

Now all of you go check the unreadable official site.

I'm surprised noone mentioned Super Mario Crossover til now.

If this really is Capcom's reply to Crossover, it can't be that bad, huh? As long as they have as awesome a roster as SMC has, then I'm all for it.

Too bad it's never coming out on Wii.

And hey, another game for us Ace Attorney fans to yell "we want Phoenix innit", right?

(Talkin' bout Ace Attorney, unless the Court-Records forums lie, today's Rez' birthday. Happy bday?, Rez!)
5  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 22 March 2010, 21:45:06
Boludo, porque no me dijiste?!

Sorry. Just couldn't say that in English.

Man, I feel really sorry. I wish I had been a nicer guy to Tabitha. Still, I loved that cat!
Maan.

Well, the only time we talked was on the phone, and I didn't feel like telling you "Hey, um, Thabitha died" over the phone. Didn't want to take any fun out of your and your mom's birthday party. Sorry for not going, BTW.

And, if anyone else cares, apparently she wasn't put down, my brother had told me that and he had thought wrong; my dad told me he found her moaning and crying in the living room, and he petted her until she stopped breathing. Man, that made me sadder.

Anyway, end of sad story now.
6  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 21 March 2010, 23:11:44
Damn, I feel like too depressed.
My 16-year-old cat (over 100 human years, if you count), Thabitha, died today. I can't even dream about how much that cat loved my mother. When she, my mom, died, in June of 2003, Thabitha spent around 2 months weeping in front of her room and looking for her. Watching her walk all around the house and crying was really sad, but then she adapted, though she was much less active than she used to be.
And today, I woke up to the news that she had to be put down. The last 3 or 4 days she had been crying cries of pain, and she barely moved. She was in too much pain, so we rather let her go than have her struggling around the house.
I like to think that now she and my mother meet again.

R.I.P. Thabitha - one heck of a cat, one heck of a partner

8  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Feliz Cumple SlugKid! on: 17 March 2010, 23:06:17
Snare, that's clearly not Slugkid, that's definitely Slugman.
Slugman is not my best friend. It is not Slugman's birthday today.
Still, awesome drawing. Maybe some day I'll be worthy of one (January 13 hint hint)

Do I even have to say happy birthday, man? Yes, I do.
happy birthday, man

My present was not pinching your shoulder for not wearing green.
Seriously, I'm working on it. Blame my lazy dad, you know what I mean.

Also, John, that's some nice Spanish there. I mean, you didn't just spell everything correctly, you even used a correct abbreviation for "cumpleaños" (that means birthday).

Ace Attorney: Investigations

Get this. NOW.

Hell yes, this. An Ace Attorney game never made me laugh out loud until today.
11  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 17 February 2010, 02:54:08
Well, that footage looks good for an aplha build. Except for the infamous running animation. It does look proportional to his speed, but it still does look weird. But then again, it's an alpha.

Vinchenz, you forgot to mention the Special Stage in the video. With that, counting boss stages, it makes for a total of 13 stages per game. If they are lengthy and entertaining enough, it just may be worth the 10 bucks they are going to charge (note: assuming it's around 1000 Wii Points. Don't know other money-points rates).
12  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 13 February 2010, 22:54:07
Well, I watched the cartoon because I liked the plot. And I'm pretty excited for the film, it looks like a loyal adaptation so far.
But I've gotta admit, a big part of the cartoon was its charm. And I don't think a live action film can achieve something like that.

Still, looking forward to it. Opens July 22nd here.
13  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 13 February 2010, 09:47:22
Considering Shyamalan wrote the script, it probably ends with the main character taking off his mask and revealing that he is, in fact, Shyamalan himself.

Then cut to black.

I've also been playing Tatsunoko vs Capcom. Finally, a worthy fighter for the Wii. Without counting Brawl, since I don't really consider it a fighter, per se. It's more of a "fighting platformer", really.

Also, an overheard marvel: "The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces" for Wii. It's kinda like Ace Combat Wii, but without modern airplanes, therefore, no missiles. Just plain ol' guns.
I don't know of any other Wii flight simulators, so I won't say that this one is the best. But it probably is. This game is beautiful. Gameplay doesn't force motion control as much as I thought, fortunately. And some of the soundtrack is very enjoyable. Just one thing: If you're going to buy it for the online, you're wasting your money.
16  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 13 February 2010, 01:45:57
Super Mario 64 DS

I'm sorry it crashes with your fancy modern Bayonettas, Mass Effects and Space Hamsters, but I've got nothing else. My Wii suddenly stopped reading games just when I was about to beat No More Heroes 2. BTW, I reccomend that game to every single Wii owner. If the first one was a must-play, this one is a will-play-or-else.

Back to Super Mario 64 DS, I just now realized how pretty and fun this game is. Yes, 6 years later. But every time I pick it up and decide to replay it (when I've got no other games, really), I realize it's a great game. Of course, when I catch up with Professor Layton 2, Mario and Luigi 3 and Ace Attorney Investigations (this tuesday! yaaaay), I'll forget about it. But it'll always have a place in my heart... Even if I only remember that place exists when I have no alternative.

Also, it's hardly a game, but Flipnote Studio. This + Slugkid + Flipnote Hatena = Fun times.

We now interrupt the sculpture-shaped birthday wishes for an announcement.

Today I realized that this will be the first Valentine's Day that I'll spend with a girl! ...Wait, that doesn't mean that I spent one with a non-girl! I just mean that... Screw it, I'm too tired to write more.
So yeah, my day was pretty good.

You may now resume your birthday wishes.

Damn straight he's not running at full speed, he's walking.

Isn't the point of a Sonic game (at least the clasic ones) speed? Why wouldn't they show Sonic running in a teaser? :|

They don't really need the spinning legs, but Sonic's running animation in Brawl wasn't bad...
22  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Upcoming Games Topic on: 8 February 2010, 21:31:40
I might actually start playing the first Sonic games. This game's announcement really didn't shake me until I saw the WiiWare logo. KA-CHING.

The teaser's Sonic's running animation is weird. I dunno why, it just looks... choppy? Why did they have to change it, really? The good ol' "running so fast they look like a wheel" spinning legs looked better, IMO.

OMG SONICS EYES R GREEN NOT BLAK WTF!!11!

Seriously, 12 comments in the Sega Blog was all it took for that to be posted.

Hey, Slugs.

24  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 8 February 2010, 07:56:17
@John: I remember you! Sluggo told me you shaved your beard™ a while back, and I couldn't help but laugh.

@Alex: Yeah, Sluggo was on holidays for around a month or less, but he's back. He came back like 2 or 3 weeks ago. He even stayed at my place for 3 days. My Wii stopped reading games while he played No More Heroes. But we had a good time thanks to Flipnote Studio and Hatena.

Back on topic, is he not being active these days? As far as I know he was on MSN and RuneScape two days ago. He even favourited the MBoard in my DSi's browser.

EDIT: A quick gaze at his profile says that he was last active "Yesterday".
25  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The Introduction Thread on: 8 February 2010, 05:41:33
Hey. Anyone remember me? It's DeMat, Slugkid's friend. I registered God knows how long ago, posted a couple of times and never again.

Well, I'm back, and hopefully for good. As soon as I can, I'm changing my av and sig, and hopefully I'll be more active.

That's it. I hope I can actually be active this time around.

Yea, maybe for June/July 2009. And please don't call it by it's Japanese name. If you are talking about it's US version, call it Star Force 3.

Hey, how did this post get from talking about a Star Force 3 US release to debating about Interwebs and shoelaces?
29  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Spore on: 11 September 2008, 17:52:18
I wish I could get a GF5 or better. They are just TOO expensive here. And here, 1 dollar is 3.05 pesos (our local currency), so if something costs like 30 dollars, we have to pay almost 100 pesos. That's not good.

At all.

Anyway, my computer IS old. I think I've had it for, what, 7 years? Yes, 7 years. And we've only changed the video card and the screen. That's why the only thing I CAN do is browse. I can't put any games on it, they all work at Space Invaders speed. Damn my PC.
30  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 11 September 2008, 00:30:23
-I'm trying to beat every single song in GH:On Tour on my DS and trying to get all 5 stars.
-I'm collecting Secret Reports in The World Ends With You.
-Some weeks ago I finished replaying PW:Trials and Tribulations waiting for some Gyakuten Kenji (Ace Attorney spin-off) news. Slugkid is actually finishing Justice For All chapter 4. On MY DS. So I've been half-playing that. Come on, Sluggo can't even point out the contradiction when someone says "2+2=7"
(Slugkid attacks keyboard. Result: AÑLK)i8iyn +0io)
EDIT: Wow, he beat JfA. Now he's playing Castlevania and NOT playing Trials and Tribulations. NOT PLAYING IT. NOT.
-I've beat with CHEATS Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the first time (not Julius Mode, "Soma Mode")
-Spore Creatures. FEAR THE ALMIGHTY CHATBUBBLE! (Pic coming... later. It's a chatbubble. A grey one.)
-I've recently finished my first Hotel Dusk: Room 215 playthrough.
-Nintendogs: Best Friends. ME LOVE MAH LABRADOR TOBY!

-Wii Sports. I almost beat it 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
-Super Mario Galaxy. 15 stars 'till Luigi (#####ing garbage bombing star, you're too hard!)
-About to get Brawl, DBZ BT3 and Tabble Tennis. Wii games are expensive over here.

That's it. And it will 'till something else comes out. Which is the next relatively good DS game to come out?

P.D: HE'S NOT PLAYING IT.

NOT.

Hey, nobody answered what the 'T' in TvC is. I want to know to. 'vC' is 'versus Capcom', right?

Anyway, I loved playing with the Classic Megaman and Roll in Marvel vs. Capcom for the PlayStation
34  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Why is Megaman so popular? Your opinions! on: 10 September 2008, 23:36:08
Well, here in Argentina only gamers know about MegaMan. And that's a little bunch. I would say most of Argentinian gamers know the MegaMan franchise, but most of them just played Battle Network and Star Force, so they judge the whole saga upon those games (note: poor them.)

The only person I know who knows the classic/good MM games is Slugkid, who basically introduced me into the MegaMan world, so now I'm playing all MegaMan games (when I have the time) as I can.

Answering the topic question, I think it's the combination between the factors which, like WW somehow stated, constitute FUN. FUN=Gets me a bonerEntertaining gameplay, timeless songs, gets me a bonerclean (in contrast with the games that appeared after MegaMan, which ALL contain blood), FUN. Just FUN.
WW is right, games lost their FUN a lot of time ago.

FUN.

Really? It's somehow common here. (Between "common" and "not used at all")
39  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 30 August 2008, 03:08:21
Mine is my 1-year old little brother, Bautista. When you tell him 'Peekaboo', he kinda puts his hand like covering his face, and the un-covers it. It's so cute. And, at least for me, it looks like he is handslapping.

Doesn't it?

Well... Hello. My name is DeMatador, and I was reffered here by someone who didn't want me to mention him. "I don't know you before you have 50+ posts kthanks.", he said. Hmpf.

Anyway, I actually played some MegaMan games some time ago, and I'm now replaying everything. Except the Star Force and all that stuff. I've already played them. And I didn't like them. I'm terribly sorry if I ever show my MegaMan ignorance publicly, I'll try my best.

I am not good at short descriptions.

Description is an end.
