Skyrim. Level 18. 35 hours. Had the game 8 days now. Over 30,000 gold and 10+ dragon kills. Beat the Mage College quests. Got the +30 to all Amulet from sidequesting. Side quests all over the place. Worth it. I have been to Morthal, Whiterun, Windhelm, Winterhold, and JUST got to Riften. Gotta find that dude for the chick from river wood about the dragons.
Addicting.

Played Skyrim for 7 hours today. Holy cow. The game is beautiful and FUN. It fixes everything I hated about Oblivion and Shouts are a blast.
It is my crack.
Wish I was playing Zelda, though.
Also, I'm level 9 in Skyrim and have over 8000 gold. It's swell.

Soooo a friend of mine came into my room last night at 1:30AM with a proposition. He had purchased the collector's edition of Skyrim for PC, with the dragon statue and artbook, soundtrack and all that hullabaloo, but the DVD drive of his PC broke, and due to his impatience, purchased the 360 version of the game. The only reason he would replace his DVD drive is to play Skyrim, which would cost him about $20+ S+H. He figured he could part with the disc, the unactivated code, and even the soundtrack disc for $40. Since he kind of owed me a favor, he dropped the price for me to $30. $30 for the Skyrim disc, an unactivated game code, the soundtrack, and the sweet map that comes with it. I could not refuse. Add Skyrim to the list of games I am currently playing. Along with DC Universe online, Dirt 3, Sonic Adventure DX for PC, Burnout Paradise PC, Trackmania 2:Canyon, Battlefield 3, and more. So many games. So little free time. My thanksgiving break will involve a LOT of catching up

Today I went Paintballing, leading the Husson outdoors club as the President.
Loads of fun, played for 4 hours, each of us spending about 50 bucks. BUT because it is a school funded club, we give 50% reimbursements for people, so for 4 hours of awesome paintballing and conquest style games in the woods, $25 is amazing.
They also have a 3 story castle structure, surrounded by walls. People climb up to the top and shoot down on them as they try to breach the castle and take the flag. Loads of fun, and I kicked ass. 3:1 kills per death and great headshots. I got hit quite a few times too, and have some really gnarly welts.

I will probably post here a lot. 2-3 gallons of beer a week, lately. Senior year of college, seem to be an epidemic around me. Posted on: November 10, 2011, 11:28:06 PM
I want DZX9 back. This would be his but I have inherited it. Posted on: November 10, 2011, 11:36:01 PM

Oh man that's gotta be awesome.
I just played through the new Portal 2 DLC with Majikn last night. Interesting puzzles.
Also been playing Darksiders and the Battlefield 3 beta, which closed today. And Dirt 3. And Trackmania 2: Canyon.

MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: GENERAL ZERO SERIES ENQUIRIES

The gameplay is okay, but the sprites are too big for the screen so it's hard to see anything until it's right in your face.
The grading system sucked.
Cyber Elves are silly and aren't 'MegaMan" enough.
It destroyed the story. I had ZERO (ha) connection to the characters or stories because they changed the looks of the characters too much and made their entire past irrelevant.

Did you ever play Maverick Hunter X on the PSP? Failed. Reboot.
I like the idea of a NEW take on the series, though. Of course, to appeal to a modern demographic, X would be a space marine turned cyborg and when killing things they have to explode into a thousand bloody pieces.
The thing is that for any kind of X reboot to be successful, it would have to be on the 3DS, and we all know how the blue bomber on the 3DS went.

Mike, are you playing on the 360?
Also, the game is totally designed to be played with friends. Solo, the game is pretty weak.
With 3 other people it's awesome because it scales the enemies to be stronger and you need to use each individual's powers to take them down.
Unless everyone is a soldier, then you just take turns deploying healing turrets.
Or if everyone is Berserker. Thousands of exploding, fire, acid, and electric punches kills anything in the game. Especially if spec'd to heal and have dash punching.

That game sounds AWESOME. I'd be such a renegade.
I've been systematically adding time to all the Humble Bundle games, as well as playing Burnout Paradise (got it from the Origin store), Dirt 3 (got it in a trade online), the first 2 STALKER games, and the occasional Just Cause 2 and Portal 2.
I have too many games to play....

I can really only see myself beating And Yet It Moves, VVVVVV, and Osmos. I already beat Braid to pieces, but didn't get all of the secret stars, but screw that, another 5 hours is a no-go for me.
