I tried playing Prime once (the Wii Trilogy version), and I wasn't really into it. But then again, I'm not really a big fan of FPS games normally...
I did like the original Metroid even though I was awful at it as a kid. I'd love to pick up the remake of the 2nd game on 3DS eventually and then play Super Metroid afterward.

I liked Broly in Budokai 3, but I also had no idea who he was. Also you could play as him in his non-buffed up state, which I personally preferred aesthetically.
I think my only problems with Broly are his backstory being silly. I consider him a lame addition to Fighterz, but only because I expect him in everything DB related, so him being DLC isn't even shocking.
Hell, Bardock being DLC is also expected and lame too, but I personally really like Bardock, so I'm biased.

Honestly, I fell in love with it, despite it being a slightly edited and recolored ProtoMan. I think I liked how simple it was, compared to any previous attempt at a NovaMan I made before then.
Even if it was a quick edit, it did give me a base to work with, so thank you for that, Rez.

I like it, though I agree with what Rez said as well.

Wily then suspiciously contracts the very same disease. Instead of questioning his humanity, players assumed that the virus evolved to affect humans.
This is as far as I got before I had to close the tab and lose faith in humanity once again.

I think it all just boils down to pure laziness. If both Collections were on the cart, they would have to program in a menu to select which collection, since they're technically two different games made by different people.
Ideally, they would've just combined both games into one big collection with everything... but again, that's work Capcom would prefer not to do.
I assume LC2 is digital only as well in Japan, but if it isn't, I might consider importing just for an actual cart.
...I just hope Capcom includes English options for the Japanese versions of Ace Attorney so I can actually have physical copies of that series again someday.

What's even more frustrating is that the smallest Switch cart is apparently 8GB, which is more than enough for both Collections. The first Legacy Collection was under 1GB, and I recall the second one is about 5GB... so unless they did some really terrible optimization, it should all fit on one cart.
And it also will have the ugly bar on the box saying you have to download #####.

Europe isn't even getting the psuedo physical copy it seems.
Guess I'll wait until its on sale since I'm not paying 40 bucks for a half digital copy of stuff I've owned countless times over already both physically and digitally.
I just foolishly hope X1-4 are in a physical release.

So, Capcom did pull the same crap again. MMLC Collection for Switch has the first collection on the cart, and the 2nd one is a digital code. And it's 40 bucks for the "physical" copy, despite half of it being digital.
Now I'm expecting the X Collection to do the same.

I wouldn't be opposed to more BN as long as they bring back the good stuff from BN2 that was missing in later games. Like the Add Button and Style Changes.
I don't think X4 will be censored. They didn't censor Ace Attorney 5 even though one of the cutscenes jumped it up to an M rating.
...although I remember that X4 got an E rating when it was re-released on PS3, so I'm curious as to why they only realized it now.

I only prefer X6 over 7 and 8 because it still uses the X4 engine and sprites. X7 is awful in both stage design and engine wise. Same with X8, it just managed to be slightly better than X7. X5 overall is decent, but the whole way you obtained power up parts and armor parts was just terrible. If you want to be able to get the most power up parts in one file you had to get a game over about 9 or 10 times before beating any of the 8 Bosses. And then to make it worse, no matter what you'll always miss 8 parts because each stage makes you choose one or the other with the crap Life / Energy nonsense deciding what you get. As awful as X6 is, at the very least you can potentially get every part in one file. Still hate the game though. Posted on: December 05, 2017, 06:46:03 PM
So, apparently there have been ratings posted for a Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2. It seems like Capcom is going to separate the good and bad X games into 2 different collections.

I don't think I've ever seen a 2.5D platformer game for a previously 2D series that has ever felt right, which is why it makes me a bit uneasy. Big examples being X8, New Super Mario Bros. and Sonic Generations.
I still think it'll be fun, but I really want it to play more like the better classic games, so basically anything like 1-6 or 7.
I wouldn't mind a 16-bit MM7 style game, myself.

MHX and X1 play very differently, and I wouldn't consider playing MHX to count as playing X1.
MHX has inferior controls, for example. X is slower and more floaty in MHX whereas in the original he's much faster.
The capsules are all mixed up for whatever reason, and they moved the one you find automatically in Chill Penguin's Stage to another spot where you need the Foot Parts to get into.
Every Sigma level except the final one is completely different in MHX, most likely because they wanted Vile to have more stages to play and then only made his 3 stages and then slapped them in X's game as well.
And finally, they also felt some need to alter the story and also kill off Dr. Cain for some reason.
So, really, I would recommend you play the original X1, as well. But avoid the iPhone version. It's awful and plays even worse. Plus touch screen controls for a platformer are never good.

I found Mass Effect Andromeda to be fun, but it definitely has some flaws. A lot of the sidequests are really pointless fetch quests (even worse than ME3's nonsense), but the main quests for each planet are handled better.
It definitely was rushed, most likely because of EA. It reminds me a lot of Dragon Age II, rushed and obviously not as good as the last game, but still enjoyable. But I'm also a sucker for Bioware games...
I do want to try Yooka-Laylee as well, but I just have so many games on my backlog already. I'll probably get to it sometime this year.

Also, just realized this version has been around for over 10 years now. Or at least I registered for it 10 years ago.

I think the problem is when they draw the arms and legs as separate, slap them over the sprite body and then have the arms and legs rotate during animations instead of drawing each frame individually.
...if I'm not making sense, Fire Emblem Heroes is a good example of what I mean. The little tiny sprites are cute and look decent enough, but the animations themselves for them look lazy and like flash animation.

It really pisses me off since one of the things I loved about the Switch carts at launch was that there were no mandatory installs when you insert a game. On the PS4 and Xbox One, you have to install the full game on your hard drive even if you bought physical. And yet we're still getting them anyway on the Switch from 3rd parties.

I remember that my reason for joining MMM was to get 50 posts so I can download Mega Man music. Shockingly enough, I ended up almost getting myself banned for posting stupid ##### on everything trying to accomplish that, but I ended up sticking around after I (somewhat) learned my lesson. Hell, seeing my old posts on this version of the MBoard still make me cringe.
This was one of the first message boards I joined back in 2005, and MMM is the only place I stuck around for. Other places just weren't interesting enough or became too infested with stupid.
I also miss MChat, though I probably wouldn't have time to be on it now for long periods of time like I could over a decade ago.

I think 9 and 10 did that well, since the other characters did play similarly to Mega Man. But I agree, I'd rather have solid stage design than 3 characters and bland design.

I wonder if anybody else will be playable aside from Mega Man, since 9 and 10 did bring in extra characters. I'd at least hope for Bass being playable for the different gameplay. If Proto Man is back, I hope they make him different from his 9 & 10 versions. Or hell, give us Roll with the broom like in Powered Up.
I would also hope they aren't DLC but this is Capcom so we know they will be.

<edit> Regardless, holy #####! Maybe Mega Man amiibos?! I would murder every single one of you for a Mega Man, Roll, Dr. Wily, Dr. Light, and Rush amiibo set...
I'd probably let you murder me for that too.
My Smash Mega Man and Gold Mega Man need more buddies anyway.
Also, remember when Mighty No. 9 was supposed to be a giant middle finger to Capcom? Now Mega Man 11 looks like a giant middle finger to Inafune. Hopefully it doesn't crash and burn like MN9.
And considering Legacy Collection 1 and 2 got physical versions I'd say its likely MM11 and X Collection will have them as well.
Also, slide and charge shot for Mega Man are definitely back according to the trailer, so no worries there.
Capcom has been ##### about things though, Resident Evil Revelations Collection for Switch, the RETAIL version has the 2nd game as a download title. You only get the first game retail. If they try to pull that ##### with a retail version of the Switch Legacy Collection they can go shove a hot iron rod up their asses.
Right. That is a good point. I'm going to hope since LC1 and 2 don't take up too much space that we may not have to fear that bull#####, but Capcom will be Capcom. ...at the very least we should grateful Mega Man 11 isn't an FPS. ...yet.

I'd be happy if we got both the SNES and PS1 versions of X3, but we all know they're going to do only one and pick the easy one, which will probably be PS1 version. Just like how we only got the PS1 version of MM8 and didn't get the Saturn version.
I wonder if X7 and X8 will be in widescreen or not.
