I did LSD once... At home... By myself... I had a very, VERY bad trip... I honestly thought I was going to die... ... I will never do strong hallucinogens again...
EDIT: Also, I seem to remember getting out my gun to defend myself from Lucy the Chinchilla...He was trying to eat my soul...

Er...Here's another poem...Please...criticize my crappy writing...
Hollow Man
He is the hollow man
Sitting in the dark
Dead inside
Watching the happy people
Live their happy lives
Shrouded in sunshine and puppies
And all that Pollyanna bull#####
But he is not envious, no
Because he is the hollow man
Never feeling anything
Yet always feeling everything
Talking to himself in the shadows
Seeking his desolate mind for guidance
Separating himself from society
Don't pity him, though
Don't feel sorry for him
For he is not sad
Because he is the hollow man
Destroying himself with each step
Living in comfortably in his lie
Content within the shell he calls "logic"
Though, the home he has built for himself
Is deceptively consoling
He believes it's better to be alone
To have never met anyone
For then he never has to lament at the absence of others
Er...please give an honest (and helpful if my poetry needs improvement, which I know it does) oppinion...

So...yeah...this is a poem I wrote a while ago...yeah...
Masochist
All this time I've been lost, Sweltering within the depths of my sorrow. Torturing myself every goddamn day With the ritualistic games played throughout my mind.
I've pushed you away, Told you to leave me alone, When there is nothing I'd love more in the world Than to accept the comfort within your smile.
I want to end all these thoughts, Stop my continual contemplation. I can see in your eyes You feel my plea.
I can't take your assistance so graciously offered. My foolish pride will not simply allow it. It masks my emotions with a facade Colder than the arctic chill.
So I cast you aside Like disregarded trash. I tell my heart it's better off this way, But all I do is hurt myself.
So...how bad did you think it was...?
EDIT: Also, I wasn't sure if the poetry had to rhyme or not, so if I made a mistake in this just let me know (Though I'm certain somebody would've eventually)...

I'm playing through SMT3:Nocturne for the first time. It's okay. The story is really slow, the gameplay seems no different from most other rpg's out there, and I honestly don't get how this game is suppose to be hard. It all seems pretty easy to me. All in all, I'd only reccomend buying this if you can find it cheap. It's definitely not worth the hundreds of dollars people want for it (I think some of the highest prices I've seen for it go into the $500 range). I was lucky when I went to buy it. I found it for $20 new.

Meh... I'm not worried about the script. The game was already translated fairly well so they'll prolly just change a few words or lines here or there. Otherwise, I have a feeling it's going to stay relatively similar to the original.
I also change my original opinion on purchasing this. Chances are I'll end up getting it now 'cause I don't see too much else with appeal on the winter agenda. But that may always change, of course...

I'm going with Abe on this one Dragster. Then don't bother spriting. Not to sound mean, if you're not going to patient and work hard then you're not going to get anywhere. Nothing in life is about talent you're born with, it's about talent to create and master for yourself. To be good at anything you have to earn it. Even prodigies have to work their asses into vapour.
Most of what you said I already get. Nothing in life is free, it's all earned. I already know this. It's just when people constantly bash something I worked on and actually tried on it irritates me to the point of quitting. Yes, I'll admit I'm lazy, but when I do something that interests me or I feel is important I pour my entire heart and soul into the project. Despite the appearance of my current avatar and the 16-bit saldite, I actually tried really hard on both of them (I think I clocked around 4 hours for the 16-bit saldite). I want to get into spriting mostly 'cause I figured it'd be good practice for my desired career choice, which would be designing games. Hell, I'm actually working on a game now. I doubt it'll be good, and I already know people will hate it. Even so, I'm making it anyways because I know it'll help me get better. I am incredibly interested in spriting, and the opinions of others aren't going stop me from doing it. When I actually complete something every part of me doubts it and bashes it to bits, but despite my hatred of my own work, I still try.

Seriously dude, I don't really care any more. I've given up on that sprite. If I go to edit it again, chances are I'll start from scratch. Otherwise, as of currently, I've given up. Thanks anyways, though.

Is this any better? Sorry, I'm still not that great at this. I personally think it looks fine. (I was too lazy to remove the background this time.) Also, I can't completely edit the pixels 'cause that would completely destroy the sprite. That reason is also why I mixed the thickness in the first place.

Hmm, not bad. Better than I can do.
Alright, so I was in the wrong topic to be discussing this. Basically I'm looking for helpful opinions and tips on my spriting. This is my current completed sprite and also possibly my new avatar.
Also, still don't know why, but the thickness of the hair still doesn't show on this website for some reason. I have no idea as how to fix this.

Yesterdays sprite was kind of a test off my skills just to see how I could do before I tried editing any other sprites. I need to know again, how exactly does this look? For some reason I feel as though something is wrong with the sprite... I dunno'...maybe I'm just being self-conscious 'cause my skills with computers suck.

I think your problem is just a lack of transparent background, something I can't currently help you with. If you provide the raw sprite image, someone can probably make the background transparent for you.
Fixed (finally)

I kind of saw a problem like that occurring. By that I mean the red. There was a point in the original sprite design for the red, but when I changed it to what it is now the red basically killed it... Sooo... Problem fixed! Is this any better?
