It's going to be a huge failure.

Also, it can't see black people. Even bigger failure there.

It's still in development.

But it only seems okay-ish.
From what I saw, processing the responses was slower than helk.

What are we talking about?

It's Microsoft's motion tracker camera, something to combat the Wii.

It sees your entire body and calculates your movements.
Well, it currently sees white people in brightly colored clothes in well lit rooms.

Sounds like a shoddy version of that EyeToy or whatever it was that PS2 had.

Yep, but it looks like it works 100x better.

Except only on white people with bright clothing.

For now, yes.

Exactly.

I don't even understand why it only works with bright skin tones and bright clothes tones.

Cameras aren't new technology. Something's missing, this doesn't add up.

I think it's really funny to picture a bunch of nerdy white dudes working on this thing at Microsoft HQ, and they're all happy that it's working, and then the black janitor walks in (yes, he's a janitor because he's black) and ruins all their fun by pointing out the problem.

It's like a nerdier, blacker Good Will Hunting!

I'm imagining this in Half Baked terms, instead.

The ricochet game they had reminds me of something I played once in the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry in, like, 1997.

The sad part is that it looks about as accurate as well.
