It was good in 3 but also really broken since you could use it to skip harder sections. I still used it for that in the other games but the forced forward movement and slower movement up and down made it only useful in very specific sections. And then the fact that hitting any solid object made Rush warp out and drop you to your death wasn't very helpful either.
...and then in 7 Rush can get hit and then warp out too.
Personally I kinda liked MM6's Jet Mega Man form over Rush Jet from the other games outside 3. And then there's the Super Adapter in 7 which was a bit nerfed flight wise but still pretty useful.

Been playing Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition for the past couple of weeks. I've been really enjoying it, never played any of the games before.
There's a lot of side quests though. I'm pretty sure most of my playtime so far was just running around doing sidequests, though I don't mind since I usually play it while watching TV or something.
Also played Resident Evil 3 remake over a month ago or so. It was... eh. I never played the original RE3 so I'm not able to tell what was removed or unnecessarily changed. Personally not a fan of Nemesis being incredibly dumb in cutscenes, literally throwing Jill away so she can find some method to escape again.
Apparently a remake of 4 is being made now, which if done right could be amazing, but after RE3 remake I'm not so sure if they'll handle it right.

Most are easy but some have wonky hit detection. I missed a shot on Purprill and somehow it hit his arms and counted against me...
Fistleo and Flammole are absolute trash for getting Lv. 4 Victories.
The Collection's Save Assist feature definitely makes the Zero games less frustrating since you don't have to worry about a cheap death making you lose lives, and you can actually keep fighting a boss repeatedly until you finally win, something I couldn't really do in the original games because I'd get a game over and just get tired of playing.
Really wish they would've fixed Zero 1-3's ranking BS though. Would love to know who thought it was a great idea to punish you for not playing a certain way.

Didn't take long for the fan service...
So, been playing it on and off just to see what else there was beyond the beta content... and the difficulty spikes up immediately and gets worse from then on. Add cheap stage design that just involves "spam the bouncy spikeball enemy from X1" every 5 seconds" so that you die a lot. But that's to be expected in a mobile free to play game.
...also touch screen controls are still garbage.
At least the art and 3D Models are nice. The new remixes are good too. The reused tracks feel really out of place though.

I haven't been paying too much attention to Teppen, but some of the art is nice. Some of it is odd and then X's redesign was pretty unnecessary... somehow makes X8 style look acceptable.
Game was boring for me though. Played a few stories and then never played it again.

It's fun, honestly, despite the free to play BS and such.
At first I was kinda annoyed at having to roll for characters, but you can apparently use the currency you get from rolling the same characters or weapons to buy the characters or weapons you don't have. So at least technically you can eventually get what you want for free.
And I agree with the default weapons thing for characters. It's kinda odd to see someone like Axl spawn in with his pistols and then they disappear and he pulls out another weapon.
Overall, I do find it a fun little time waster, but if it gets ridiculous and starts demanding I pay to win I'll just drop it like most other gacha games.

I agree with Rez on pretty much everything he said about Ace Attorney.
Recently I replayed Apollo Justice, and while I didn't hate it nearly as much as I remembered hating it, I still didn't like the amount of times Apollo gets his spotlight stolen in his own game.
Spirit of Justice was really great though.
The Ace Attorney Trilogy port on PS4/Switch is really nice. Aside from the obvious graphic and UI enhancements, they also implemented the investigation checkmarks from the more recent games, so you already know what you've investigated in that area. It makes reading every little random piece of dialogue a bit easier to without accidentally examining the same thing again.
And my favorite thing? Being able to save anytime without being booted to the title screen.
I also liked 2-3. It had some nonsense, but overall it was entertaining.

Finished the first Ace Attorney game on the Trilogy. Forgot how short that game is compared to the rest.
Also got Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission for Switch a few days ago. Pretty fun overall but I'd recommend watching a gameplay video before picking it up if you're interested.

Playing Ace Attorney Trilogy on PS4. Got it imported since Capcom is still loving the digital only route for the west...
It looks really nice in HD. Hopefully the animations aren't halfassed like the iOS and 3DS versions...

I enjoyed the RE2 remake overall. It has its issues, like zombies being bullet sponges, but overall it was fun.
Kindom Hearts III was... alright. The game itself is fun, and the Disney stuff is pretty neat, but the game's story itself kinda... felt rushed at the end. They basically stall and set up the whole game and then kinda shove all the real plot all at once.
Then the final boss is beaten and its still... lacking. There were a lot of character interactions I was looking forward to that just never happened or were glossed over.
Still, it was fun, just... lacking some closure for some reason. Obviously they're gonna make more games, but still.

I don't think the Glide Armor is too bad, the gliding ability was kinda helpful for X7's #####ty 3D sections, at least... though that's not really much of a plus.
Still, Fourth Armor/Ultimate Armor is my favorite. It has the best overall gameplay improvements. The armors in X5 and X6 all had some weird flaw or gimmick, like the Gaia Armor or Blade Armor...

Physical games get sales frequently as well, and usually they're even cheaper than buying digital. At least in my experience.
And the free games you get with Xbox Live Gold aren't really free since you'd need the subscription to be able to grab them, and even then the same issue with digital content is there. You could technically get a trial and snag the games of the month for free I guess...
It's even worse on PlayStation, where you actually lose access to the 'free' games you got from Plus if you unsubscribe.
Either way, it's crap. But probably inevitable.

The Jeff Spirit battle was super awful, as was the Funky Kong one too. I had to give up on Jeff for a bit before trying again.
A lot of them are fun but there a few that are just aggravating or designed really poorly, even after having really good spirits, though it might be just be me since I'm not too great at Smash...

It still bugs me that they felt a need to change Zero's design at all. Then they go and reveal his body is fake... only to have the real body be a recolor of his MMZ design.
I remember when I first heard about Mega Man Zero and I was super excited and imagined it would look like X4 except on GBA and only Zero was playable... then I saw the art of MMZ Zero and was really confused. And then I never got the game and went back to playing Battle Network.

After playing for quite a bit I can confirm some of the music that I wasn't so sure on:
There are ports of songs from a few series that weren't in Smash 4. The first one you'll notice is Flash in the Dark (Wily Stage 1) from Mega Man 9. Next is Theme of Zero ported straight from Mega Man Zero, which in itself is a remix of Zero's X1 theme. I also unlocked Shooting Star, which is Mega Man Star Force's main theme. This one specifically was SF1's title theme.
I also heard X5's X vs Zero theme play in World of Light when fighting a Ganondorf with Sigma's Spirit.
No themes from Legends, Battle Network, or ZX that I know of.
Finally unlocked Mega Man in World of Light also. It takes a little while but at least he's somewhat early on compared to some other characters.

Finally finished unlocking every character in Smash Ultimate.
I'm loving the game, but sometimes the AI feels insanely cheap, especially when unlocking a fighter. I swear I've been beaten without landing a hit.
World of Light is neat. Some of the fights are annoying but overall a lot of them are clever. I feel like I've barely made any progress in it so far.

I watched the free episodes on the app back when it premiered and it was okay. Some jokes were a little cringey, but some were actually pretty funny.
Apparently in one of the recent episodes they had a guy called Man Man who was dressed up like Bad Box Art Mega Man.
At some point I'll watch more of the show, probably.

I thought of that too but it might feel too similar to the Wily Castle Stage, especially since the Smash Bros. Version is at night.
Then again, we also have a few similar city building stages with Pokémon's Saffron City Stage and EarthBound's Fourside Stage.
Either way, I'm sure they'd be able to come up with an interesting stage idea.

Only ideas I had were maybe the inside of Wily's Castle, or Dr. Light's Lab.
Or one of those changing stages that would switch between different Robot Master Stages or something. They could have the transitions be like the Legacy Collection Challenge modes.
X1 Opening Stage would be sweet too, though. We already have the theme remixed after all.

I think it was in the datamine, but after seeing all the music uploads, it must've been removed. That or they're just ports of the original tracks from the games for some reason.
But apparently it was the MMZ version of Zero's theme from X1 and the title theme of SF1.

I do really like all the new tracks Mega Man has gotten so far... however...
Mega Man 6, 7, 8 and 10 getting no love was a bit sad... and then Zero and Star Force get a track in but not Legends or Battle Network? Odd choice... still, overall the remixes are amazing. I love that we got so many Mega Man songs this time.
Meanwhile, Sonic has no new remixes and Final Fantasy still only has TWO tracks total. Guess Sega and Square Enix are at fault for it...
I haven't tried it but I'm pretty sure it's not for me either.
And personally, I loved Oblivion more than Skyrim, but Oblivion has aged horribly. But if you play it on PC you can at least mod out the stuff that bugs you... probably.
I'm finally at the end of Red Dead Redemption II, still haven't beaten it, but close. So far it's been a lot of fun. I'm hoping I can finish it tonight so I can focus all my attention on Pokémon Let's Go tomorrow.

I've never had issues with clones as long as they made sense. Even when Ganondorf was a Captain Falcon clone it was silly but I still enjoyed it anyway.
And seeing echoes like Chrom and Ken, I don't think it's even fair to consider them clones since they are still pretty unique in their own right. Wolf was considered a clone in Brawl just because he shared some stuff with Fox... same with Lucas.
And clones can make me love a moveset too. I hated playing Fox in Melee, but loved Falco.

I'm really glad it seems like single player modes aren't being neglected this time. Smash 4 got boring pretty fast when your friends weren't around to play...
Adventure mode being back is great. And Spirits look like they can be pretty interesting. Like better versions of Stickers from Brawl. I'll miss trophies, but if they were sacrificed to put in all the other content in this game, I'm fine with that.
Overall, I think the roster is great. 76 characters including echoes. That's pretty ridiculous. My only disappointment was Isaac being brought back only to be an Assist Trophy again, but aside from that, the roster itself is pretty solid.

Same, I'm not a fan of the small UI, and the fact there's really no way to increase the size of it... the closest I got was making the minimap always at full size, which was a bit helpful.
I'm finally starting to understand how the cores work, but they didn't really explain them well in the intro.
I'm still getting used to all the new stuff... including the physics. I've tripped my horse riding like a moron too many times to count and every time it happens I feel really bad. But I am glad you can swim now. No more death from hip-deep water!

It would be nice if the FE reps used more than Swords. Even Robin, being more magic focused, still uses a sword. In their games, Ike could use an axe, Chrom and Lucina could use lances.
Zero, while being a sword user, would still have some different possible moves, such as his Buster, his Lance from X7/8, or even the random weapons from the Zero series, as much as I hate MMZ. Just as long as Zero uses his X series design, I wouldn't mind it too much...
