<edit> Regardless, holy #####! Maybe Mega Man amiibos?! I would murder every single one of you for a Mega Man, Roll, Dr. Wily, Dr. Light, and Rush amiibo set...
I'd probably let you murder me for that too. My Smash Mega Man and Gold Mega Man need more buddies anyway. Also, remember when Mighty No. 9 was supposed to be a giant middle finger to Capcom? Now Mega Man 11 looks like a giant middle finger to Inafune. Hopefully it doesn't crash and burn like MN9. And considering Legacy Collection 1 and 2 got physical versions I'd say its likely MM11 and X Collection will have them as well. Also, slide and charge shot for Mega Man are definitely back according to the trailer, so no worries there.

First collection was okay, second one was pretty good.
I think the first collection would've been excellent if they ported the Complete Works versions with all the extras.

Both Legacy Collections are coming to Switch as well! That plus X1-4 and I'll have so much Mega goodness on Switch to keep me entertained until 11 comes out.

Mega Man 11 was announced. Not 8-bit, but 2.5D. Would've preferred 2D HD sprites, but I can't help but be hyped. Coming out late 2018 for PS4, Switch, Xbox One and PC. Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 come out on Switch in Spring 2018. EDIT: Mega Man 11 is releasing on October 2nd, 2018!

My girlfriend and I watched the first season of Stranger Things last weekend with some friends. I enjoyed it overall. We'll probably watch the second season this weekend.
There's a bunch of other shows we've been meaning to watch as well, like Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but we haven't gotten around to it.

I used to hate X2 and X3 years ago, but I've grown to like them recently. I really #####ing hate X8 now though. It's so bland, and as Rez said, the levels are #####ing terrible. It only seems good because it came after X7, and almost anything can look good after X7.
It's like Sonic Unleashed. It's a ##### game but people like it because it was better than Sonic '06, which isn't really an accomplishment...

I finally got all my backer stuff. Sad how both the shirt and the fake box were much higher quality than the game itself.
So, is it better than nothing or does it make you cry like an anime fan on prom night?
I think at this point I would prefer nothing. So is it safe to say that Inafune isn't all that great at this whole game thing?
I mean, considering that he thought the Mega Man Zero series was a good idea probably should've tipped us off. That plus his weird need to make sidescrollers in 3D like Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X. Hell, Mega Man 9 was even going to be 3D at one point.

I think it was in Zero 2 that I got insta-killed by a falling spike ceiling that was off-screen, and there was no way of knowing it was even there before I was killed by it.
I might be remembering wrong because it's been over 10 years, but I don't think the stage design in ZX was nearly as bad, but the form switching made for crap gimmick. They could've easily handled it like the armors in the X series instead. Instead of getting Model H you instead unlock the ability to hover in Model X, or double jump in Model ZX. Stuff like that instead of being forced to change forms every time there's an obstacle that you can't get past.
I've heard of 20XX, not sure if I would like it or not, but I'll probably give it a shot at some point in the future.

If Mega Man Battle Network 4 can be re-released on Virtual Console, I'm sure X7 will be put in a Collection someday.
I know Virtual Console isn't the same thing but Capcom was okay with re-releasing BN4 AND patching it so the bugs from playing on non-GBA hardware were fixed. And they also patched in code to give you all the unobtainable chips from the other version.

I'd be fine with X1-6, maybe Command Mission as an extra.
Another neat thing in MMLC2 is that in the Challenge Mode for MM9 and 10 you can fight the Special Stage Bosses as the extra characters. Proto Man can fight Fake Man, and both Proto Man and Bass can fight Enker, Punk and Ballade now too.
They're still unable to play their stages though.

And maybe next time we'll actually get the full Complete Works versions of 1-6 instead of gutted, low quality versions or just the NES games.
If this same team makes another collection, I'd love to see an X Collection that isn't #####.

Yeah, Junk Man's stage doesn't have the giant Famicoms in the stage or the background anymore. The Gameboys found with Rush Search are gone as well. Aside from that, so far MM7 seems to be running well. Haven't had any bugs or random issues. ...there's also art in MM8's gallery that doesn't belong to MM8 and looks recent. Posted on: August 08, 2017, 06:09:47 PM
Bass' line in Shade Man's stage is also censored again like in MMAC. ...but all the typos and grammar errors are in tact so... Yeah.

They also added swapping custom loadouts on the fly with L/R which is something I was hoping they would add... The Switch's one flaw is no d-pad in handheld mode, and the pro controller has the d-pad in the lower xbox position, which is extremely uncomfortable to use for 2D games, as Cave Story+ is making painfully clear.
Apparently there's a $25 controller with a better placed d-pad coming out. Might just pick that up over the 70 dollar Pro controller.

Indeed. It always seems like they remove certain characters people like so can be used to try to sell the next game or be DLC, kinda like X in this #####.

Honestly with the "new" characters they announced it seems more that Infinite is just a watered down version of 3 but this time there's an actual Mega Man present.

Burst has about 12 levels, if I remember right. The 8 robots + 4 final levels.
The only things that get carried between saves are the icons you unlocked, which are useless really. All the unlockables are in the same place too.
But aside from that I found it more fun than the last Mighty Gunvolt.

Is it just my crappy PC or does the game's physics run a bit slower than the actual games? Mega Man runs and jumps much slower for me.
It's a neat level maker at least, though I had the game crash on me playing a level.

I actually really like Mighty Gunvolt Burst, definitely much more polished than MN9 was. The levels don't feel like a chore, and you're not forced to use the Burst mechanic at all. The customization options for Beck make it a lot of fun with different play styles.
I think my only problem I had was the bosses have a lot of health at first, but once you start using their weaknesses and boosting your attack power it's not as bad.
It feels and plays like an actual Mega Man clone rather than a flawed one.

Yeah, I remember MMAC being really bad. Especially after learning about all the stuff that was cut from the Complete Works versions. Or the complete lack of button configuration for the GameCube version because lol reversed buttons.
Oh yeah, I also forgot the X Collection used MP3's or something for the songs that just end abruptly instead of fading out during certain parts.
Honestly, if it wasn't for Battle & Chase I probably wouldn't have ever touched the X Collection. It'd be nice if they released B&C on PSN or something.
I'm probably going to make a Japanese PSN account so I can buy the PS2 Arcade game Ports, I think it's called Power Battle Fighters, which unsurprisingly are better than the ports we got in MMAC.
Maybe in another 20 years we'll actually get a good Mega Man Collection for once.

Wall of text incoming!
So, sometime last year I decided to finally play through X2 and X3 for the first time, via the Wii U virtual console. And well... I didn't like either of them. At first. I replayed X3 probably a week after my first time beating it and enjoyed it quite a bit more the 2nd time.
I ended up selling my Wii U to get a Switch, so the only means I had to play X2 and 3 legit was... the X Collection, but I had never beaten them on there either so I never unlocked Battle & Chase, so there was at least some motivation to do it.
Something I noticed about X2 on the PS2 Collection... the slowdowns that I saw in the Wii U VC were nonexistant. Which made some fights feel weird since I was used to them being full of slowdowns, such as the first Serges fight and Crystal Snail. X3 seemed... the same. I actually like the arranged music better than the SNES music, though the original is still good.
I finally got to play Battle & Chase at least, it's kinda fun.
But I do have a question, what other differences or flaws have you all noticed that the X Collection makes in regards to the originals?
I noticed that the X2 intro has a sound bug in MMXC, and X1 had the dialogue edit in the opening stage that #####ed up the final boss dialogue (something like "why you done this to us X!"), as well as removing the Hadouken voice clip for no reason. I also know that X6 had the voices removed entirely from cutscenes as well, but I had no need to ever play X4-6 on the Collection since I own the original PS1 copies.
One final thing I noticed that was off in the Collection was that the picture quality is... random. I use component cables on my PS2 and I noticed that the picture quality in X1-3 would go from crisp to randomly blurry and shaky. I don't think I've had that issue with any other games on my PS2, so it's probably the game itself or the porting job being ass.
