For my ethics class I had a question like "what would do with a million dollars?" and I said I'd trade it in for euros and then wait for the Canadian dollar do go back down. Just a sidebar.

Our dollar has been at par, just under par, and over par with the U.S. dollar for a while. Constantly fluctuating between at par and over seems to be what it's doing most. However, they have changed the prices of nothing, making book stores a damn killing.
Before our dollar was up, my store started charing the U.S. cover price on everything because we barely lost any money by doing it and saved our customers a bundle. Then the dollar went up right after, and everything was even cooler. But there are still a lot of places charging Canadian cover prices and ##### like that, it's stupid.
The only place having the dollar up actually means you get more for your buck is in the U.S. That's soooo lame.

We have a few plushies of the main characters, and a bunch of japanese vinyl and plastic models of Mario, Luigi and others.
We also have these banks or something or other that are coin banks with mushrooms on top, they make noise and do stuff but I don't know what. The boxes are entirely in Japanese and I'm too busy/lazy/don't care to translate.

Not really but I've seen him and kind of met him. My assistant manager (and I guess manager) knows him. I only ever work with my assistant manager unless he's sick or I'm working a saturday.
Actually a lot of different writer's buy comics there. Not all comic writers. One guys writes for movies and worked on Transformers. Charles De Lint has a special sub box and I've met him a couple times. I'm not familiar with his work but I girl I know from high school freaked out when she found that out.
Actually, there's a guy who hangs out with a lot of comic book writers and artists all the time, they're his friends or something. It's weird 'cause he'll be like "Oh yeah I was hanging out with Ed" talking about Brubaker and stuff like that. But he doesn't name drop or dick ride,, those are just his friends so it comes up.
Olivier Coipel came for a day, but that a promotional thing and my friend Sonia (who works there too and is in class with me) forgot to remind us he was coming and my friend Shawn (also animation) and I slept that day away as it was the day after our summer camping trip.

Or traded.
"My slave is a shiny!" "I'll trade him for your first edition slave!"
My slave has a special item, so he'll evolve when traded. Trade back after, k?
I have blue eyes white people. But those can't be sold or traded, apparently. I actually am black don't say that crap. That's right, all slaves ever have been black.
That's exactly what I was thinking. Actually, those tanned people from that place in Africa with all the triangular buildings had slaves well before those light skinned European and euro-associated people ever did. A lot of people seem to forget that...

We had (might still have actually) the coin blocks at out store too. They came in with the koopa shells and have similar sound tech. We also have mini mushrooms, goombas, and fire flowers. But the fire flowers are the kind with petals and legs and crap that I don't dig. We also have a singly coin.
And Bomberman bombs w/ sound.

The writer of Blue Beetle comes into my store to buy Blue Beetle.
Why? Because he wants to see what the final product came out as.
Don't they send it to him for free? Yes, but by the time it gets to him it's way far behind from when it actually came out so it's not important anymore. So he comes into our store and buys the issue when it comes out and then just writes it off on taxes.

LEVE'M ALONE GUYS.
Seriously, give him a break, I'm sure he wouldn't think he won the battle if your giving him some pity. No offense to Sano of course, but even though he may act like a douche sometimes, doesn't mean it's alright to constantly bash him.
Honestly, it's getting pretty annoying for me too, throw the guy a bone.
I just didn't see this thread as outright bashing him. I saw it as joking around that everyone would be fine with. And really, I'm usually the one who says to lay off him first. So that's something. Oh and Sano. Maybe I'm a bit on edge right now 'cause I've not slept and have been working on a panning background all night; But thanks a lot for ruining my 21st birthday pic, which was one of the last really good nights I've had in a long time. I'm not actually pissed off or anything, I know it sounds that way. Just... ugh. There's funny, and then there's... ugh.

Do you even know what iconic means? You literally just said "Avatars pertain to the characteristics of an icon" which doesn't really get at what you're trying to say.
Avatars are a manifestation of someone or something; My avatar is a bodily manifestation of myself in cyberspace. An icon is a representation of something. They are similar, but not the same.
I know what you mean, and you're kind of on the level but they are not the same thing. Ex: A painting of Jesus is an icon, Jesus was an avatar.
At the end of the day, it will always sound weird to say icon in this scenario to me.

Needs relish.
(This is the part where everyone goes "Haha Mike you're so witty, clever, hilarious, sexy, rich, fast, wealthy, underground, metal, soap on a rope, delish!" and Chaos stands there like "What the #####? That was basically the same joke!")

People have been saying he's gay since way before this topic, and it was at an end in this topic already before you posted that's a moot point. He can do something about it by not letting it bother him so much, the only reason it ever continues is because it gets under his skin enough that he tries to say something to counter it but that ultimately doesn't work out at all because he ironically says it gayly. You might want to teach Lunche to create a sentence that conveys an actual meaning first.
Sano is loves donkeys.
That was the joke, brainiac. It was funny.

A lot of his dialogue isn't specific to his character, least of all anything during a case. After that it's as simple as swapping a few words around here and there.

I stel dun car. Try a little harder with your passive aggressive pseudoracist insults and maybe I stel wun car.
What the hell are you talking about now? He keeps feeding the joke himself, we don't even have to try. You can't blame us.
That's no reason to throw logs into the fire.
Calm down. We'll say some gay joke and then he replies with something easily turned into another gay joke. It's almost stupid not to point that out. Two reasons; 1) If we don't he'll feel like he won some battle that was never there and 2) If we don't he won't learn how to NOT post like that. Get over this "oooh that's so childish euhn euhn euhn" crap, people.
