Yeah Andross rules of all the assist trofs.
8203  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 03:43:47
There will always be someone playing no matter their age, it's just that less and less people do the older they get.

I haven't been paying close attention to your Pokemon card discussion but Charizard came out when the TCG first came out. I remember the holofoil being particularly expensive.

War ≠ Crap.

War = Peace. Everyone double-thinks that.
8205  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Original Megaman Anime on: 6 June 2008, 03:29:04
First off step 2 is always "?????". And that's not even a sandwich, folded bread. That's crap, you're crap. That is a crap meal.
8206  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 03:26:02
Everyone played Pokemon, nobody played Digimon.
Actually, more people collected Pokemon than played it.

Mike, Etemon was the Elvis-monkey Digimon. Like, my favorite character.

'Kay, I'm reaaally sure it ended well after him, with yet another incarnation Miotismon that Cari and TK had to take care of with Angiwomon and MagnaAngimon (so much gayer than Angimon who is the coolest #####er ever).

Anyway the Digimon Tamers season was OK, but I completely stopped watching after it as it was getting BEYOND crap.

No one in my high school played Yu-Gi-Oh or any of that because, well, we were in high school. I have a friend who collected the cards at the time though, but didn't play. And other friends of mine played VS., which at the time was limited to Marvel.
8207  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Mario Kart Wii on: 6 June 2008, 02:56:23
There's a gang bang in Drumline?

With Nick Cannon?

I can think of few things worse.
8208  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 6 June 2008, 02:53:48
I know.

Just for clarification, since you did confuse it for the Devil assist trophy for some reason.

Oh yeah that was just 'cause someone said the screen just gets pulled all over or something and that stupid assist trophy was already on my mind.

Anyway another stage I can tolerate but think absolutely sucks is that Pokemon one with the lame Pokemon in the background who #####s you up randomly. Don't get me wrong, I love in-stage hazards when they're good, hell I wish you could put them in custom stages, but that one just suuuucks.

My favourite assist trophy might be Excitebike, which I rarely get. Or Lyn, just because I liked that game and it's a good trophy I also rarely get.

Well it would be a pretty #####ing poor dream excuse for a sandwich if it only had one slice of bread.
8211  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 02:39:36
I don't remember what Etemon was but the first team didn't finish until the movie, which bridged the gap between both teams. Before the movie it was a lot of stuff about them using those medallion things to digivolve to ultimate or whatever.
8212  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Atomic Fire? What happened? on: 6 June 2008, 02:22:58
I can name many more things better to do with you time. But it would be a bad thing to do with my time to list them all.

To this day, I don't know if that site is serious or not.

I don't know... It has a dressup game...
8215  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 01:42:43
Right. Digimon came out before Pokemon during the Tamagotchi age. Digimon started out as a Tamagotchi-like pet thing but you could hook two of them up and they'd fight and get exp.

First 3, I'll give it.

2.

If that means the original team and the second team with Davis and ##### that came after the movie.
8216  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 6 June 2008, 01:20:50
Digimon aren't any bit more or less weird than Pokemon...
8217  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 5 June 2008, 05:56:44
I like the side scrolling Mario level enough I guess. It's not as bad as the other one.
8218  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 5 June 2008, 04:55:45
If it was a Digimon instead of a Pokemon, he'd need a computer.

And then he'd just CUT and PASTE in a filling!

Stupid is right.

Anyway if no one thought of computers there would be nothing man-made in space, not MRI machines and a whole #####-load of other medical marvels, crap TV broadcasting, grainy movie quality, and much worse ways to make music portable (some kind of of mobile record player?) so I'll take my world of computers, thanks.

8222  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 5 June 2008, 04:44:21
That's Richard Dean Anderson, who also played MacGyver.

Locke is played by Terry O'Quinn, who also had a role on Alias.
8223  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are you watching? on: 5 June 2008, 04:39:46
It's worth it. It only gets better later in the series and the more often you watch it (like Peep Shooooooooowwwww!!)
8224  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 5 June 2008, 04:38:14
Cool but I wish the colours were better.

I didn't really get it. Is the old man a Pokemon predator or something?
Slowpoke.
The Pokemon is Slowpoke.
He is another meme.

Like a picture of a slowpoke celebrating the new year into 2007 when going into 2008.

The man is the character John Locke from LOST.

THAT'S why it's funny. Any pokemon could have been there.

No thanks.
8226  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 5 June 2008, 04:33:29
75 m is the old arcade Donkey Kong stage as mentioned above.

It's dumb because all the platforms except for the very top and far top right are so small/crowded, you don't fight. You just jump, fall, or scavenge. Not to mention the little random fireballs that bounce you everywhere.

And even if everyone DOES fight at the very top, you still have Donkey Kong and the dumb jacks that surprisingly launch you at a dangerous distance.

I know.

The Mario Bros. one is actually a good one. It's way better than 75 m.

It's better than 75m but in no way is it a good one. The POW thing is crap and the turtles and crabs get in the way, and not in a fun manner. A bunch of assist trophies turn to crap there, it sucks to try and jump anywhere, and more. It's OK for 2 players but with 4 it's just stupidness.
8227  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Rock Band on: 5 June 2008, 04:25:17
GH3 on Wii can go online, so it just makes sense that Rock Band should go online. It's stupid to think otherwise, when it's pretty clear they're gipping anyone who buys Rock Band for Wii.

8233  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Did anyone know... on: 5 June 2008, 04:11:05
No. We're not crappy androids from Neo Arcardia. We don't overload, and we aren't 12 year old looking hermaphs in the newest line from Speedo.
8234  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: ZX3 in progress, it is confirmed. on: 5 June 2008, 04:04:57

8235  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Matricians: Show your desktops! (Not dial-up friendly!) on: 5 June 2008, 04:01:20
That's a rather invasive and expensive XP patch.
8236  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Question Concerning Ranking Based On Posts on: 5 June 2008, 04:00:22
I use 2-3 at once.

I have like 10 open and use half of them at once plus programs...

... I have a lot to do.

It's not meant to be spelled, nothing that received fame from Family Guy should be used outside of the actual cartoon. DEATH TO FAMILY GUY!

That was around years before Family Guy ever was. And yes, I guess I do like it ASR. But I don't watch it weekly or anything, just if there's nothing else on. I too know a LOT about TV, and I don't think the show is great or anything, but the random funny parts are still funny regardless of if they're random or fomulaic or both or neither. South Park is kind of the same way, a lot of shows are. But let's not make yet another Family Guy discussion. I don't think it's that good either.

And Mario Bros. 3 battle stage thing. Thumbs down.

8241  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Discussion Topic on: 5 June 2008, 03:08:17
Is 75M that assist trophy that pulls the screen places? I encountered that for the first time a couple times the other day. I hate it. It's not even like possibly fun, like when ships come and blast at you in that Starfox level from Melee or like the cars in Brawl's Mario Kart stage.

I find a lot of the new little trick things in Brawl aren't actually fun, just annoying. The first Smash Bros. is pure awesomeness, and they keep being good and keep having cool new stuff but there's a quality that's going down with every new version.
8242  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Music! on: 5 June 2008, 03:02:37
I love their hash browns! It's like grated cheese.. but with 'taters! ahh.. just like the ones at Vegas..

##### man, you're a bro after my own heart. I actually ordered a side of they're hash browns that night because they didn't come with my food and I LOVE their hash browns.
8243  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 5 June 2008, 02:57:22
For whatever reason, longboard kids always piss me off.
Longboards are for crusing, for relaxing, for going fast and getting around. Skateboards are for tricks and such.
I used a skateboard to get around like, the whole last year. But I never learnt any trick but manual. I don't even know how to damn Ollie!

Now I have a bicycle.

An ollie is apparently harder than a kickflip so most people learn to kickflip first. I never got the hang of a decent kickflip (I could do a pretty balls one) but I mastered doing a pop shove-it like right away. When I was a kid I had a basically double thick deck so now I have a high ollie, high enough that the board goes out of control in the air and is difficult to land if I do it too hard.

I rollerblade for cardio and [extremely beyond rarely] to get around these days, though. I generally walk/bus or drive (if I need to, because I'm pro-Earth).

A friend I had got an orange and chrome Razor scooter when she was in Australia, before Razors came out and exploded in North America.

I think anyone in Major League Gaming or that plays videogames for a career is a tool.

Yes.

I don't see why Activision is paying to play GH. That sounds completely bull##### like everyone who tells you they're sponsored for skateboarding when they clearly not. I had a guy tell me he was sponsored for fingerboarding once, he wasn't even good--Just rich enough to afford all kinds of gay Tech Deck halfpipes and ##### like a total knob. Come to think of it, I have a few stories about that guy, the bullah.

What does Activision get out of him being good at their game exactly?
