Are You Afraid Of The Dark? was on YTV.
The mall episode had the guy in a sort of video game type scenario. Eventually he got enough points or whatever to use a special gun (that was clearly a Super Soaker 50 painted silver) and killed the bad guy with it. In the end, you heard a ca-chunk and saw a giant silver ball coming down towards him as everything restarted. Ended with the realisation that he's IN a pinball game.
Wasn't the creepiest for me but was one of the better ones. The vampires moving in next door freaked me right out for the longest time.
The one with that red pool skeleton was good too. About as good as the one in the fire station where the kid looks into the flame and that like releases the fire spirit or whatever and it burns the ##### out of everything.
Another one that creeped me out was the one in which Amanda from Ready Or Not/Trance from Andromeda was getting babysat or something and there was this big black figure that would come out the walls and junk when no one was around because the house was built wherever it was built. Something like that.

I just saw the season 4 finale of House.
I #####ing cried.
I don't know why, as soon as that one person started to cry, I couldn't stop. It wasn't that I was going "WAAAH WAAAH" I was just really tearing up.
Anyway, can't wait to start Season 5 when I wake up!
Episode 1 finished downloading!
Season 5 is good. I skipped the end of last season. Samurai Jack?
Ja-Ja-Ja-Jack.

ReBoot IS alphanumeric. It's not dead. I went to a whole thing with Rainmaker Studios a few weeks ago about it. Anyway, it's Nerf or nothing. Hey, Are You Afraid of the Dark? was awesome too.
YES. I was talking about it to my boss last week.

Mike I have something to tell you.
We both have powers.
Also, we are like cousins, or clones, or something.
A half Spanish and a half Black ain't clones but we're clearly related because that's the only way powers work. Truth is, I'm seven thousand years old and your shapeshifting grandmother's (who is also Abe's mom) illegitimate half-brother from her dad who went back in time and had a kid with an exiled pharaoh.

In the absence of a real Death Race scenario, or an Escape From New York, or an I Am Legend, or TERMINATOR, or or or or... Really though, I don't care about those ones.
I'd like to amalgamate Mad Max with Orwell's Hell. Meaning, the totalitarianism, but with leather jackets and fast driving. But the main vote goes to 1984.

Nikki's power; Super-strength. I think that's it, really. The double personality thing was probably not part or related to her power but her strength might have made it easier for the Jessica personality to take over.
My favourite character right now is Elle. But that speedster chick is cool too. In the first season my favourite character was actually a tie with DL and Mohinder, but he's become increasingly lame since the first season and DL is currently dead.
I like Matt a lot but he didn't get much episodes before now. Actually, Molly was also one of my favourite characters.
I've only seen one episode of the American version of The Office. It was good after a while, but I don't get the hype.

They make sweatshirts like that for adults, but I doubt there's the face part.
I'm completely opposite when it comes to temperature. I never get as cold as others but I get hot really fast and stay that way longer and I just hate the heat. The weather today was almost perfect in temperature but my jacket was a little warm and I'd like to see my breath a bit.

I really don't count anything that doesn't happen in the show, even if the comic is official I just don't care about it if they didn't think it important enough to put into the show. Anyway I didn't mean the marks signify that they were given powers exactly, I just think those people were. Or at least a lot of them. Like Nikki, for example. Possibly Matt but I don't really care either way.

I've been saying from the start that anyone with hash marks or whatever those are was GIVEN powers and they didn't develop naturally like some others. ... Who almost all seem to be in the same #####ing family. And that's my big problem with the show. Everyone's related to everyone and it's extraordinarily bat##### #####ing crazy to keep writing like that, not to mention completely annoying. But I really do quite like it, and it's better than season 2 so far at least (not that that's really a feat)... You say "future" Peter like it makes a difference.
Peter has been a dink every step of the way.
THANK you. Also, on the subject of Hiro. Well. I guess he was always awesome in that he's comedic and stuff but I think he was quickly overrated/overhyped. Like, he's great. OK. But people don't relax about it. I'm glad they're seemingly taking him down a darker road or whatever because he's a good character but needs to not be a joke every damn episode. Friends and I were talking last year, we realized he has the potential to be an incredible villain. Do I want to see that? No, not really. But maybe one of those things where it's like "Future Hiro is evil!" kind of things would be cool. Anyway, neither Peter nor Hiro are my favourite character. I don't think they're even close, really.

Hey Mike, that guy in the last pic is cool because he's smoking.
If I do that, will I be cool too?
You'll LOOK cool. Being cool has nothing to do with smoking or not though. Yeah, but on the other hand the man has probly one of the best tastes in fashion around here.
So true. No homo, but he always looks great in the pictures.
Well I don't post the pictures I hate of myself here, haha. But thanks guys! Lately I've been into clothes more. Which is... expensive. But I dislike a bunch of my older stuff, or I don't have things that go with them.

Yubi you should get a Mini Munny and make one, I think you'd enjoy it. Also, I recently bought this on eBay (could not #####ing find it anywhere) and it came in the mail today. It's quite a bit more vibrant green than I expected from the photo, and it looks big for a medium but I haven't tried it on. Doesn't matter, it's great. 1986 was the last year the Boston Celtics won the NBA Championship before this past one in 2008. It was also the year I was born. Making the shirt a double team of badassery.

Today. After work, got dicked around trying to find a place to buy a bus pass for the month that wasn't the actual OC Transpo place at Rideau since I knew there was a line. Couldn't find one so I walked to Rideau. The line was out the door so I said "##### dat #####, bitchfists!" and went to a bank machine and got out some cash and bought a CD and used the change for the bus and I'll have to get my bus pass later. I read the whole thing too. The best porn is funny porn. Too bad that stuff wasn't really. I reiterate; You. Have. No. Idea. I would love to explain, but that's not for MMM. That's not even for people, or it shouldn't be. Sounds like a sweet place, Lago that is.
It's kind of... I don't want to say "gay" but... Well... Haha, I quoted something he removed from his post!
Actually I just moved it, sort of. I'm sure this post will never be read.

Wow. I'm actually kind of astounded and sort of-kind of-maybe impressed that you actually have never seen that cowbell thing. Also, it doesn't really ruin the music, but you'll probably never be able to listen to "Don't Fear The Reaper" the same way again.
Edit:
Also, today I bought "another" Boys Noize CD. That is, I bought "Oi Oi Oi" by Boys Noize, where as the one I'd bought and talked about earlier was "Oi Oi Oi Remixed" which is an album of remixes of some of the songs from the former by a bunch of artists.
Whatever. I'm going to see Boys Noize in Montreal on Saturday and that's all that matters. HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE.

If he had better character development he would be alright. I think Dynamo would have been a better recurring character than Axl if we knew more about him..
You need to have character before it can be developed. Axl is completely devoid of character beyond the typical children's anime star. "Yeah! Cool! Awesome! Yatta! Bang bang shampoo."

Good Point: Cool colours. Boobs. Bad Point: Not enough screen time. Likes: X (YEAH SHE DOES.) Dislikes: Field work.

My alarm was turned off today and I woke up almost an hour late, had to rush to work and didn't get to shower. And I don't smell or anything but I need the daily shower to function. I barely got to work 5 minutes late, just on luck. Luckily I can be a half hour late and no one will care at all.
Anyway.
2 Saturdays ago I went to the Ottawa International Animation Festival 2008. Wasn't planning to go this year but my friends wanted to for the day so I got the day pass. Saw a lot of cool stuff, as usual, and went to a workshop about ReBoot with Rainmaker Studios (used to be Mainframe) which all a bunch of stuff I already knew and it went on way too long but ReBoot ruled so whatever.
Anyway the main reason I went was to the party, as the festival's Saturday night party is the biggest one and is usually epic. I was planning to go home after this Disney-Pixar workshop, or after this Israeli film called "Waltz With Bashir" (which was awesome and I reccomend it) to put my bag and stuff at home so I wouldn't have to have them at the party but my friends were all "Nooo you'll miss Blue Toons!" which they didn't tell me about before hand.
"Blue Toons" which a screening of a bunch of porno cartoons. I guess the idea was that it was supposed to be funny. Well. A few were funny. Namely some Snow White and Seven Dwarves thing (well, it wasn't really funny), these educational type things, and one called "Jack-Off and the beanstalk". HOWEVER there was a whole battery of NOT #####ING FUNNY ones that ranged from unnerving or just plain disturbing. I can't even begin to explain on MMM, and it didn't help they added in some japanese H clips that encompassed some of the most barfworthy "porn" I've ever seen in my life. I mean, I'm not squemish. I've seen 'Two Girls One Cup' and my reaction was only an eye flinch, but I left that place nauseous as did everyone else.
We had to leave the place so they could put out food (which was the last thing on my mind) and re-check everyone's passes so that kids with volunteer passes would have to wait again. And then we got in and had drinks and it was cool, but my friend who's car we'd all left our stuff in decided to leave early so he brought us our stuff and then we were basically stuck unable to go dance or anything because we had bags and such. That was annoying. But it was alright in the end. Still trying to repress all the grossness of those clips though. You have no idea how... Ugh. Now if you're actually reading this post and you're this then wow, I didn't expect anyone to ever read this post! +some currency from Mikeropia.
This past Saturday was Wawa's (pronounced Va-va) birthday party which I posted some of the pictures from. Wawa not pictured. It was all supposed to go down at 9 at this place called Lago in the Dow's Lake Pavillion. Konrad and I were supposed to get there kind of late but we ended up getting a ride so we were only like a half hour late. WELL no one else had even gotten there yet. We called Wawa and when we finally got him he said they were at Pub Italia and were heading over. OK. Well they had to wait in line for an hour and a half. We didn't have to wait in line when we were on time! Anyway they got in around 12 and from then on it was wicked.
Lago was interesting, the actual place was pretty damn nice, which the patio looking out onto Dow's Lake (which is one end of the Rideau Canal) and everything was fancy. They raised drink prices once the DJ started though... But the funny thing was that all the other guys there were kind of older, and pretty gay looking (I mean like, the clothes, the hair, and especially these fake tans) and clearly had some money 'cause all the girls were really hot and very obviously gold diggers. Doesn't matter, it was good. Met some of the people that are going to the Boys Noize concert this COMING Saturday with us, and that's cool.
