SS Octopus is his name and sea-fascism (soceanlism?) is his game. I can't remember exactly what assault rifle (if that) I referenced but it was specifically WWII and German. Not an AK-47 though, as those were invented later. Notice that I will never draw a swastika if I can help it. Because I can't help it. I can never bring myself to do it. I'd only be able to, maybe, if it was for a job. Otherwise I just move it out of shot and stuff.
Originally, it was just an octopus I partly sketched the same night I did the concept art for Mittens and Crumplehorn (which became the cover images of them). Then I added a head-mirror-thing along with a syringe lodged in his further back area head (and inside the liquid in the syringe was a goldfish) and he was then almost on his way to becoming Dr. Octopus in the background of a page.
But I forgot about him in my planning of the pages leading up to the one he's actually in, which was going to have a host of legendary sea monsters. I eventually thought that would be too much like the Past page, so I decided I needed something else. The name "SS Octopus" floated into my head before I realized I had an octopus waiting to be finished and put into the book. SO I added tentacles I'd previously left out and fit him to the theme. And I think that worked out better than the other stuff would have.
Future page was a loonng one, but I love the effects on it and they made the page worth it. ... Once I got those green eyebeams, I tripped.
Worst page was probably the Present. I redid the whole thing three times from the sketch-level because I, First: had photoshop crash before I could save, right when I was near the end of it just making the rising sun. Second: Accidentally saved over the file when I did the Future page. I did that page 3 times in the space of like... 10-12 hours. 8 hours of which I was at work. Or 7.5, whatever. 'Cause the second time I did the page was during my lunch break.

I've hidden a C in every page, and smaller font makes you look slimmer!
I really wanted a new page for this, but couldn't stand to upload other stuff and wait a bit.

Yeah, and as new areas get internet there'll be new country/continent-specific adresses.
I just thought of it because I was looking through Ontario township websites at work at one was something like township.com (can't find it now) and I thought "They have the brass to actually claim domain over the name 'township' as if they're the only one in the country? On the planet?!"

Canada's not much, if at all, better. Well a bit, I guess. We just sort of... try to learn from you guys. We're still making the same mistakes, but making them the right way. Again, I guess.
This reminds me of something unrelated. Today I was thinking about pre-technology civilizations. How pissed are they gonna be when they get the internet and all the domain names are taken?

Well, most tend to think the wild Pokemon in it were better compared to the different ones from Blue. I tend to agree, but I mostly only hype Red because it's the one I had. Pure bias. Also like EVERYONE had Blue here, and I was one of few kids with Red, so anytime someone needed Red stuff they'd come to me (actually, the other kids in my class with Red copied me later on...).
So yeah...

I hate it because the Hawking part is out of place and almost makes his situation comical when this is a serious commercial. But I love the rest of it. It plays on like every channel I watch lately.

OK Ok ok okay. I'm clearly too happy 'cause this isn't a big deal at all but I just made chicken fried rice for the first time, without any directions at all. And I'm eating now, and it's really good. I'm very happy.
... Yea... I didn't really learn to cook much when I was younger so anytime I make something new-especially from scratch without a recipe or anything-I'm a bit proud.
But this actually is REALLY good too.

Blastoise, and I had Pokemon Blue, but I never particularly cared one way or another because I was too busy being way more awesome than anyone else.
Except me, because I was Blastoise and Pokemon Red like a REAL Pokemon Masterrrrrrrrrr!

Worked today in the office. Went by quick. Ontario has a lot of area codes.
I just finished drawing my MM Meme, and a Random MMM Comic. But I'm deciding if I want to go to colour, because that will take a looong time.

I was looking on a website for MegaMan model kits a while back (more like a year ago.) and I saw an armor from X3 I hadn't seen in the game. It was a picture of a snarling X type, with turquoise/ greenish armor. I read further on it and said that it was called Return X and that it was a clone of X (i know, how the hell did that happen?). The picture on the website said that he was from X3, but never saw or even picked up hints of this guy in X3...How the hell did this guy get in the equation?
Just know that there are a TON of X armors that didn't appear in the games from comics and all that jargon. A lot of them... aren't great, either.

Those kids are morons. Video games aren't even hard for kids. It's like how kids can use a computer right out of the box and their parents are like "Hein?!" It's their blood and their generation and their fuel and their waste and their all. It's the same reason we all had Blastoise (if you were cool) or Charizard (if you were trendy) or Venesaur (if you were THAT guy) the morning after the NIGHT we got Pokemon Red (if you were cool) or blue (if you were just OK).
And FURTHERMORE that wasn't even a hard part of the game. Proven by the fact that they left and Mario just did it on his own.
Anyway Raisin Bran is the bomb diggity of cereals and if you disagree you clearly haven't tried it and are also probably some sort of neo-NAZI.

I have a recipe for Nanaimo bars I need to try.
I make the most incredible Caesar (yeah that's right) nachos you've never heard of. I rarely make them anymore but I've always gotten rave reviews.

So far, so fail.
I was going to go out to the Navy base and apply at one of the contractors. And I have a nice shirt and some slacks I was going to wear, since you don't show up to a place you'd like to work at in shorts and a t-shirt. Not if you want the job, anyway.
But yeah, I discovered I don't have a belt. I'm not sure how universal the dress etiquette here is, but you need a belt if your shirt is tucked in to your pants, and with that outfit that's the only option.
So I decided to procrastinate again and wait until I can buy a belt before going. Or spend more time looking for something that should be right in front of me.
That sucks, but you said "slacks" seriously and that more than makes up for it I think.
