CD-i > Cell Phone
GASP.
More like GRASP... Your very own CD-i today, that is! [/lame] Texting is only useful when you're too damn impatient to talk to the person and you're taking a crap.
I find it rather useful when she's in England and I'm here considering a few things like the price of long distance calls and the time difference. I also prefer it because I hate making phone calls unless it's necessary and we can text about how #####ing boring/stupid/gross (yes, gross has come up) our class is while we're in it. Which I think would be quite disrupting to the classroom if I just started talking about it on the phone. Plus it costs me less to text a quick message than to make a 20 second phone call as my phone is Gaytown, ONT.

Some people like vanilla, Mike!
It's 2008. Everyone's down with a swirl. 'Kay just for safety I say we get off the race stuff. It's all fun and innocent now, but somebody other than me might come along and push it too far.
'Cause, black people are always cool.
No, they are not.
That timing was impeccable. Even Carlton was cool.

I'm thinking they're trying to convince us that Sawyer is, so that he isn't. Then again, I've noticed their not too great with leaving clues that don't make you figure it out in two seconds à la
Ben in the flash forewards this week.
That Rome crap is really just the story they used to fuel the idea of the holiday, it's conception IS for commercialism, but I don't have a problem with that since like every "giving" holiday is flooded with that anyway. Most people that hate Valentine's Day hate it because "it's a made up holiday that was purely conceived for the one purpose of commercialism" when really they are just bitter that they don't have someone and are using that most cookie cutter of excuses. I hear it every year and while that in itself is very tiring, I still think it's a valid belief so I don't really say anything about it and I just let 'em vent. I don't say/believe it myself because I realize how stupid and played it sounds, though. I just try and take the day for whatever it's going to be and move on as soon as possible.
But yeah I agree with everything else you said.
EDIT: Removed this part. It's irrelevant anyway.
I wouldn't care if it wasn't an obviously BS response to the holiday since when the same people are with someone they don't seem to mind the day at all. It's their scapegoat so that they don't have to say their just bitter and that really irks me something fierce. I don't say anything to them but I'm well aware they're being idiots. Everyone always brings up 8 Mile.
I didn't. I haven't even seen the movie. I was talking about south of 10. However eight mile road is the main dividing road between the nothern suburbs and Detroit. Mile roads in the Oakland county moving south from 10 Mile Road into Wayne county are more notorious for crime. Eight Mile represents a prominent racial and ecomonomic divide between the northern suburbs and the city of Detroit, and just south of Eight like 25+% of people live below the poverty line and north of 8 like only 5% live below the poverty line.

How short? Why does Winged Warrior look like the gay bar version of Edgecrusher?
Otherwise I'm down with this.
You and your #####ing jacket though is making it hard for me to do something I need to do to my character's look.
Well then do it. Not like I'm gonna say you ripped off my look like you all said I did with ASR. Not at all.
What I'm doing doesn't actually look like your thing at all, but a lot of people can't see simple differences. It really doesn't matter, it would never come up really.

It's the Cyber Elf that they actually are. It's in there controlling a robot body like that alien that has the galaxy in Men In Black. When the robot body gets destroyed the cyber elf says ##### it and just floats around for a billion years until a mad scientist sucks it up a la Ghostbusters and makes it into a Live Metal and then that Live Metal digivolves into Trigger later.

I think it rather obvious that they are just there because someone designed them to be there and made it look like they had a purpose. That's what we do when we design futuristic ships and such. The audience doesn't need to know what they are as long as they don't look horribly out of place. If it looks as if it's supposed to be there, you don't have to really know what it does and neither does your audience.
But my guess is they'd be sensors.

Well, you rarely share them.
My rants are too long for forum posts. They would be in multiples. Plus I don't have the time like I used to before college. (Cherish the time you have when you get home from school and you can do whatever you want, kids! If you get into a program like mine later on, you will lust more for sleep than most anything else! Except booze. Most animators are alcoholics apparently.) Posted on: 14 February 2008, 23:55:32
Oh and, I'm in a VERY nice suburban area, about 45 minutes away from Detroit. It's the furthest thing from trashy you can ever imagine. Everyone is spoiled rotten, including me, and it's pretty much the opposite of whatever I assume you're imagining.
Don't worry, I wasn't actually serious about the girls or anything. I know from pictures that you don't live in the hard parts of Detroit (pretty much any mile south of ten).

A lot of the stuff is like that kind of. In one Bam decides have a big family reunion with everyone from Ape's side (WASPs, it kind of looks like) and Phil's side (big fat weirdos) and the sides never get along. He builds a drawbridge for the house, makes a big ass castle wall, and gets a full grown elephant blinged out.

I hate that one with the parents so much, but if it comes on and I see how much a #####ing loser the boy/girlfriend is then I get stuck 'cause I have to know what happens. They like all end the same anyway. That True Love show sucks too.
I love Viva La Bam, it's kind of like Jackass but with a family. The stunts aren't grossout or let's get hurt stuff either, it's usually "This would be fun" so they dig a tunnel under Don Vito's house and break through his bedroom floor to scare the ##### out of him when he's asleep or print hamburgers on all of Phil's clothes so everything he wears has a hamburger on it (he's fat) or they convince the town (Westchester, PA) not to give Phil any food for 24 hours. I can't really explain but I can see why some don't like it. But it's pretty fun, really. First season is the best.
Another Jackass spinoff, Wild Boys, is pretty cool. Mostly only 'cause you get that stun stuff but you also learn about animals somewhat.
Rob and Big is hilarious, I've started getting into it this season. Really good. First two episodes of this season were awesome, and you can watch all the newest ones on MTV.ca.
MTV Canada stays away from the braindead crap with it's hosts and MTV Live though, which is the main reason I tune in. Gotta watch MTV Live at 11 every weeknight.
