I think the only real difference would be how many movies you get to make. Story shouldn't end up TOTALLY different otherwise it wouldn't be connected to it's show correctly and it wouldn't even be worth making.

8007  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 16 June 2008, 01:51:27
Only the one in the South Park episode is good. The other ones I've seen before and I always thought they were stupid.

I have a bunch of 4Chan images.

But, y'know, we're supposed to avoid memes.

It's not funny because it's a fad, though. It's funny because it's a funny image at the end. There's a difference to someone showing a non-funny incredibly 4chanly lameass picture of a pokemon with a stupid crap-garbled-grammar caption underneath and someone showing something that happens to be legitimately funny, pokemon related or not.

And Abe is right, the word "meme" on the internet is completely retarded, and using it is one of those stupid fads on it's own.
8008  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Headphones on: 16 June 2008, 01:44:17
Those aren't the Sony S2 ones I had, but they're part of the same line. I don't like that kind of earphone, where the speaker doesn't even face INTO my ear. These are the ones I love;

Ah, how they were perfect for me.

the MOST annoying boss(for me) would have to be split mushroom. i mean if you don't attack him right away, he multiples and if u don't atack the right one,omg ur in trouble!

Split Mushroom is one of the easiest bosses in the game.

I only got Frustration.. What a ripoff.

My friend had that. I never wanted to play it because it looked gross, malformed, aborted. It was like if they made a doll in the Barbie line that was like a spastic lecher guy with eczema. No one would buy it.

You mean "Axl shouldn't even be a character period" actually.

Anyway, again; I don't think it's a light, or eye, or anything. I think they just take in information. They take readings of crap. Or they're just gems, and that's the way it is. But they probably have a function. Robots aren't really made to have or into having frivolous luxuries.

Isn't haggus that sheep stomach stuff?

That's only part of it. I haven't tried it, but it can't be a gross as people make it out to be. I mean, people still eat hot dogs and that's made of the raunchiest.

Actually, Shadow came to the Sonic series while it was still on Dreamcast, so Shadow is an accepatble character.

Replace Shaodw with Silver and i agree with you 100%.

Neither Shadow nor Silver are acceptable by any stretch of the word or imaginable divine cosmic intervention on any multiversal plane here said The Mikero--hallowed be His name--who walks in shadows with twilight abominations and strikes with fists like something unto iron, may disease and infestation rain down upon his enemies like thunderbolts.

I find these knockoff movies hilarious. The "Little Cars 2" trailer has like nothing to do with the plot in the description. But I think "Ratatoing" is my favourite, as it's the worst. Although, The "Little Panda Fighter" and "Tiny Robots" are epic #####cake.

Despite these knockoffs though, Chron, Brazil is too #####ing awesome.

That Limbo Of The Lost game... Wow.

Pretty sure we have. By we, I mean they. Because I'm pretty sure I saw a link to it but never clicked it. Like most stuff in this thread.
8023  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Music! on: 15 June 2008, 06:29:50
Been thinking of getting that. But I don't know.

How's the explicit content? I want to know if I can play it at work.

I've heard "Everybody Nose" live and it wasn't that great. Video was better.

It's not terrible, I think it would be cool for playing at work.

Cool, I'll check it out.

I caught my assistant manager skipping the entirety of a Disturbed album I love on Thursday. I don't know if he knows I caught him, I don't really care. I wasn't really mad, but he could just say he doesn't like it (I think he does though, he just didn't want it on at that time, because I know he's played it when I wasn't working), I just don't like sneakiness unless I'M doing it.

So I took the CD home. Not a big deal or anything but I know one girl doesn't like them and the manager only plays Billboard Top 100 songs of whatever year in the last century he picks at the start of the day (I got to pick on tuesday and I picked 1972 randomly. That was a good year, musically.), so if the CD is not gonna get play there then it's useless and at least I can listen to it in my car or whatever here if my iPod dies.

So I need a CD to replace it at work, though I have already put loads there, the number now seems just wrong. I might get the The Ting Tings' new album, or Grand: PM's if I can ever #####ing find it.

Listening to: "Sing For The Moment" by Eminem.

I find that drivers in general are totally #####ing annoying. There's a reason I will never get sound back on my tower PC upstairs, and it's the fact that trying to fix the drivers has given me multiple headaches ON TOP of each other. I hate when someone should be easy is so #####ing completely back asswards and frustrating.

Anyway, today my friend Robbie and I hung out with our friend Giuseppe (aka Joey) we hadn't seen like all year and went to The Works--a burger restaurant with c-c-c-crazy recipes (Like one that is a poutine IN a burger! And one with Kraft Dinner and ones with peanut butter and the list goes on and on) that all delicious--and then went to see The Incredible Hulk afterwards.

I drove. It was bunch of driving but not a whole lot. Drove to Robbie's to get him (but he's close), drove across the entire city to Joey's, drove back over here to resto and then to the movies, then back across the cirty to drop Joey off, and then back over here to drop off Rob and come home. Not a whole lot since I like to drive and tend to do all the driving if I can on road trips, but whatever I'm still pooped.
8025  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Headphones on: 15 June 2008, 06:13:01
I suppose. It also depends on where you put your iPod/whatever (I put mine in any pocket, so the cord generally flows out and then straight up to my head) and the length and tendency to get yanked around of your cord.

No one make a sexual joke out of that last part.
8026  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 15 June 2008, 06:07:08
Just saw The Incredible Hulk. It was great. I'm not gonna bother comparing it to Iron Man like everyone undoubtedly has/will. They're both equally great but are totally different from each other so there's no point talking about them together.

Anyway there's nothing I didn't like (except that holding Hulk's hand showed how much he wasn't actually there, but it was fine). Just that it ended, and I even had to pee for the ENTIRE movie. Like even going into the theatre but there was a line outside and I didn't want to leave it, though I could have as my friends would have stayed there. Whatever. I made it.

Don't bother to stick around for credits, there's nothing at all after them (and thank God they aren't as #####ing long as Iron Man's).

I think now that Marvel isn't outsourcing anything in their movies, the quality will be constantly up to par with these two. Iron Man and Incredible Hulk were done with the same quality as Spider-Man 2. Like it just LOOKS great and quality, if you catch my drift.

Like... Spider-Man 3, looked very cheaply done and just not as clean and fine tuned as #2, for example. And X-Men 3 looked about the same as Spider-Man 3. Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, and Spider-Man 2 were made on a whole other level of quality, I can't really describe it so I hope you all get what I mean.

You are easily wrong.

Then I expect the twist is dumb. Unless there isn't one. Either way I have absolutely no plans to see it. I looks good but I just don't really care enough.
8027  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Headphones on: 15 June 2008, 05:54:14
Yeah I have big headphones that were around 10 bucks and they're great. Sound is awesome (but I think it might bleed out A LOT). I'm not sure why I stopped using them, but it's probably what always happens to me; The right side stopped working.
8028  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: What are you watching? on: 15 June 2008, 05:40:34

8029  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Headphones on: 15 June 2008, 05:37:19
I use the skull Candy earbuds to listen to music when I walk to and from work.

I have Skull Candy phones (not ear buds, they are black with a camo or something print) and they're just OK. Really, Skull Candy is a shoddy company; Only some of their headphones are pretty good and the others are only alright. It's frustrating. Though, I love their logo so I'm glad like twenty-billion stickers came with them.

I've yet to find the perfect pair of headphones.

I found one I really loved in high school. Sony S2 Sports, the kind that have the hard thing go behind your head (I don't know the names of different styles of headphones beyond "earbud") and they were white, dark grey, and orange. The orange was refelective, too. They were awesome quality and everything but I must have pulled the cord sometime and it broke inside because they completely stopped working. I've wanted to get a new pair ever since but they're like 60 bucks and I think that is ridiculous.

Headphones are way overpriced, considering how they tend to live as long as a beetle.

Contantly bending cords also can do that over time. That's why angled jack sucks with iPods.

Or why iPods suck in general.

Pft. Please. That could happen with anything, not just an iPod. And my current headphones have the angled jack or whatever it it's actually working out better that some past ones. Namely, the iPod earbuds themselves, which break at the jack if pulled regularly at all.

8040  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Proof of Megaman 9? on: 14 June 2008, 06:25:35
I almost don't care about this.

That's just a classification site, it doesn't even list as if this game is in production. This kind of crap happens all the time. A company buys/registers/whatever the name of something in case they do produce it in the near future. Some C.H.U.D. finds out the registration happened, freaks his chudly face out, and wanks all over the place while posting it online.

Show me something better than this. Show me a release date. Even then, there's like a hundred things with release dates that never come out. The Luke Cage movie was slated for 2006 on IMDB and IT was actually announced! AND they even cast the protag' and others for it! But where's the flic? Never finished. Maybe never even started. The movie doesn't #####ing exist.

So I'm not holding my breath that this is actually going to happen until there's some other development than "this game is rated G".

Besides, I pretty much don't want it to be true anyway, since it will clearly suck the bag. Think all the gay-but-tolerable things in MM8 plus the trendy plot aimed at 10 year-old consumers who will buy up all the trading cards, action figs, bed linings, Halloween costumes, etc. faster than Bandai (in association with Capcom of America) or whatever asshat company can produce.

Pass.

M. Night Shyamalan is a meh story writer but this one looks kinda interesting...

I'll give you odds that the twist in it (because I'm pretty sure this one actually has one) is that's just The Reckoning from biblical and all the people who live are actually the damned one. But that's just my guess from trailers/commercials and I could easily be wrong.
