Awesome, can't wait for that.
Also, they're coming out with an extended cut DLC in hopes to placate people who have problems with the ending.
I went back and did the synthesis ending, so now I've done all three. I guess synthesis is the best but none of them are any good really since they're all the same. The ending gets worse the more I think about it.
I think the "Extended Cut" DLC sets a precedent that I don't really like, but I'll definitely be getting it, heheh.

And Initial D always seemed awesome, though I never saw more than the opening.

True. There are actually a few times where it's like... "How was I ever supposed to even think to try that?"
I felt like a lot of the success was really dependent on knowing EXACTLY how to really press for information.

OK. I'm done Mass Effect 3. Like, just now, ten seconds ago.
I did EVERYTHING. Seriously. 73, maybe 74 hours. And as I look now the reason for that is I did every single side mission. I scanned everything in every system to get everything to 100%. I went into the final push with 100% Galactic Readiness and just over 7300 in War Assets, so you can guess where I fell on the ending bracket. As for the specific ending I got:
!! MAJOR REAL DEAL spoilers in these tags. You are warned. !!
I had an incredibly tough time deciding between destroying all synthetics, and synthesizing with them.
Controlling the Reapers/synthetics was never an option. I'm not the Illusive Man, I know better and I always did. I'm pretty sure it's not a Paragon thing either; I'm willing to best most players discarded that option as quickly as I did.
Destroying the Reapers is what I wanted to do most, but losing the Geth (after I'd just created a world wherein the Geth and the Quarians live on Rannoch in peace) seemed like a dealbreaker. And I worried over EDI's fate in that option.
But then synthesizing... As much as the child/citadel/catalyst claimed it was the best option for both it seemed to be working against the ideal I set out with since I first landed on Eden Prime in 2184; Diversity. The entirety of my run in Mass Effect has been about preserving and pushing multiculturalism in the galaxy.
I assure you that it was a conscious, succinct thought. From the beginning.
I knew I would do whatever I could to cure the Genophage, and I did. I knew I had to restore the Quarians, and I did. I even knew, eventually, that I wanted to save to Geth. And I did. I spared the Rachni twice because it was the right thing to do.
And I promised myself to do it without sacrificing my characters morals. That's not to say I went Paragon on everything, most things, but not everything. My Shepard has enough edge for a 4D cube.
Part of what attracted to me to the game was the depth involved, a big part of which was the imaginative in which ways the races related. Turning everyone part machine might be the "next stage of evolution in this cycle" or whatever, but there's a part of me that finds it extremely hollow. Also it just... Did something about this option seem almost like an indoctrinated suggestion? Shepard has spent enough time with Reaper tech and since ME2 I have wondering if there hasn't been a bit of backdoor indoctrination going on, the dreams in ME3 were-to me-a symbol of that. Why WOULDN'T the Reapers be attempting to turn Shepard since the loss of Sovereign?
I've been writing this part of the post while I sit here trying to make the decision. It's cleared my thoughts out, so in the end I went with;
Destruction. I couldn't shake a feeling about synthesis, and it would have left a taste in my mouth that I wasn't about. Maybe synthesis was the more altruistic route, I think that's really opinion based on incredibly vague information, but it didn't seem right. Though 10% of me wanted to pick it if only because it doesn't show up for some people, which in a sense made me feel like I earned something. I'm not kidding around, I even flipped a coin on this (To see what I wanted more, not to randomly pick. It turned out the same). I first accidentally picked to control the Reapers and had to reload actually.
Joker go out of the Normandy with Liara and Garrus. Shepard lived.
tl;dr, I know. It was extremely conflicting. I'm extremely conflicted.
As for my thoughts on the way they did the ending:
It literally rocked until you were faced with that choice. Three blanket choices that make all the little ones seem a bit in vain. It's a bit lazy, so I get what people were on about. I'm not sure I can say it "sucks" but gimme a day or two and we'll see.
More or less, it's just queerly disappointing.
The first one is still better, but this was pretty great. I'm with MOX that our Shepards could beat up the rest, but I'm not with him on the tip that this game felt longer. The longest and most enriching of the series for me was the first, by FAR. I think my first run through Noveria took like four hours. Also the game was more of a roller coaster, there was NO idea where anything was going. The second, you sort of knew what you were doing. And the third was laser focused on a single goal for the whole game, there wasn't really a mystery going on, just events.
Anyway all said and done, I #####ing love Mass Effect. There's a reason it's my favourite modern game series.
And multiplayer is something like a phenomenon.

It's realy not bull#####, man. Well, I guess it's just opinion obviously but I don't get why it bothers you. Basically the health bar only refills AUTOMATICALLY up the section it's currently in, so if you lost a section earlier that piece of health won't just return by you waiting around mid-level doing nowt. Which makes sense, you're not Wolverine. It makes medi-gel useful again since you almost didn't need it at all in ME2. Otherwise you'd just be at full health all the time and the game wouldn't be challenging.
If you manage your shields and cover properly you should barely notice the difference anyway. At least that's how it's been with my Infiltrator. I actually think it's a good way to keep from being overpowered all the time.

Managing the health is like exactly the same as in ME2, it only looks different...
Some missions tell you what to do next, but side-missions are often like "go find some scans about that" with no info. But that's always been present in the series, because you're supposed to just happen upon those scans and such while doing another mission.
Journal could be better. I miss the separation between Assignments and Missions.
I hate switching disks. It was fine in like the PSX days but it's crazy now. I did the side mission in that school today, and that was all on Disc 2, when I haven't even come CLOSE to completing the story in Disc 1. I don't understand how that works or why it works that way.

Yea but...
While I think that charging for day one DLC, and EA's pushing of Origin on you is stupid, it doesn't make the game less good or deter me from playing it. I'm just not getting that DLC, sinch.
Edit: Definitely thought this was another topic and didn't see the relevance, so...
I've never really been a big fan of the concept of DLC. Not because I don't like the idea of updates coming out for a game later on, I'm actually WAY into that, but because of the piss-poor process with which they decide what IS DLC and not just part of the game. Essentially what I'm saying is I was always worried about the abuse of that; Companies leaving out content so they can overhead charge for it, which is what has seemingly happened in ME3. At face value.
Because, however, I'm not sure if the argument that the ME3 Prothean character "should be in the game" holds up for me. If the character doesn't truly effect the story at all, then it is superfluous and IS an add-on regardless of when the content was released. Much in the same way as Kasumi from ME2 (who is spectacular and worth every penny). In fact, without looking anything up (I avoided any news about the game I could for the couple months leading up to it), it's logical to assume the character and missions were created AFTER the game basically on it's way to getting pressed and was only conceptualized during a time when adding it in would be... Not prohibitive, or THAT difficult, but not exactly efficient. In fact, it likely screws up a ton of the legaleese a game has to go through to get to market.
Gamers in general seem to like ignoring all the hoops ##### has to go through to get made and it's kind of ignorant.
Aren't we talking about a Street Fighter vs. Tekken game in this thread? Why, then, would you even assume that NON STREET FIGHTER OR TEKKEN CHARACTER WOULD EVEN BE IN THE GAME? They have no business being there and before the advent of DLC they wouldn't be! Back in the day if you got a character in a fighting game from a completely separate game and universe you'd punch your brother in the dick you were so thankful. [/oldmancollymore] Maybe I'm missing what we're being mad about here, but I'm tired of gamers, nay anyone, acting entitled.
But like I said, I fully admit I haven't bothered reading all the articles. Too much FUN TO HAVE.

There's something odd with that Massimo one.. And the one before it (is it ZX? Ew.)
In fact almost all of them have it; Blur and/or lens flares.
Effects.
Ones that I'm pretty sure are NOT achievable with MSPaint alone. Unless they added filters or airbrushes in that I wasn't aware of. So while I'm sure these were drawn initially in Paint, someone's gone and added to them in a second program. The only one that doesn't unnaturally Paint is the second one.
Anyway I bet the artist uses a tablet or similar device, so it's no wonder trying to draw anything in Paint doesn't come out as nice for you if you use a mouse or trackpad.

The grill should be on a heatproof surface well away from buildings, brush and overhanging trees. Never grill inside your home, even in an open garage. Inspect your grill before you start, making sure the racks are clean, the cover fits snugly, and there are no cracks or holes in the grill pan. Start with a clean grill, especially if it's the first time you are grilling this season. Ash left over from cooking creates lye when mixed with water, which can rust the grill pan. You do need an ash layer for the best heat retention, but old ash isn't doing your grill any good. Follow manufacturer's instructions for lighting gas or charcoal grills.
A charcoal fire takes 30-45 minutes to reach the proper cooking heat after you light it, so just sit right there and I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air. In west Philadelphia, born and raised, on the playground is where I spent most of my days. Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool. You know, shooting some b-ball outside of the school. When a couple of guys, who were up to no good, started making trouble in my neighbourhood! I got in one little fight and my mom got scared and said "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air!" I begged and pleaded with her day after day, but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way. She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket, I put my Walkman on and said "I might as well kick it!" First class! Yo, this is bad! Drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass? Is this what the people of Bel-Air living like? Hmmmm, this might be alright! But wait I hear they prissy, bourgeois, and all that. Is this the type of place they should send this cool cat? I don't think so, I'll see when I get there. I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air. Well ah, the plane landed and when I came out there was a dude that looked like a cop standing there with my name out! I ain't trying to get arrested yet I just got here! I sprang with the quickness like lightning, disappeared! I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate said FRESH and it had dice in the mirror! If anything I can say this cab was rare, but I thought "Naw, forget it. Yo homes; To Bel-Air!" I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabby "Yo homes, smell ya later!" I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there! To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air.

Been playing Mirror's Edge finally, a friend gave it to me. I like it even though it's exactly what people said when it first came out. I just wish you could explore more, since combat isn't at all the fun part and sometimes I like to go fast and jump around in a non-linear fashion, but the game really only lets you go where you're "supposed" to go.

I forgot to mention that SOME time ago, not long after posting that Saints Row: The Third was great, I 100%'d it. And I don't mean the 100% counter the game has, as it doesn't count ambient challenges or achievements (only missions and activities); I literally did everything there is to do in the game, to the point I can't do anything but drive around causing mayhem and jumping off high stuff to no end.
It's not like I'm bragging, it's not hard to do in that game. I'm just simultaneously a bit chuffed and sad that it's FULLY complete.
Definitely felt shorter than Saints Row 2.

I was recently looking at this in the "app" store. The art style is puke inducing and looks like bad Flash, so I stuck with MM2.
I had no idea about the screen change and frame rate bullish. I'm guessing the upgrades you can't get from stage changes are the ##### you pay extra for. Genius squad.
