Yesterday I heard they put a new baseball team in Ottawa. I'm not sure what league or anything but I guess they use Jetform Park. I'll have to look into it. I have the PSOne power cord, which fits in the back of the slim PS2 and supplies it with power (since the light goes on) but even though my friend said I could try it I'm not keen on the idea since the slim PS2 uses 8.5v and the PSOne's power cord is 7.5v. So yeah.. I don't know.
Theoretically, it should be fine if you file it down. The wire just carries the power; the device that chops it down to size is the adapter (power supply), which is in the big one's chasis, if I recall.
Wait, PS1? Not... not entirely sure about that. Maybe. I'm certain Sony does this to force people to order parts from them.
On the other hand the Nintendo power cables and AV cables seem to be annoyingly interchangeable in many instances.
Actually there's nothing to shave down on the PSOne power cord. It's a single unit so it's all built as one, you can't separate wire and adapter like on the PS2 cord, so I wouldn't be able to plug the PS2 adapter to the part I need of the PSOne thing. I don't think I'm explaining it very clearly but the PSOne power cord would go straight from the outlet to the PS2, and there's no way to actually attach it to the actual PS2 adapter that would turn it into 8.5 volts.

Just got back from work. I had to get THE customer who had a very precise order with complicated junk and requests that Wendy's can't actually do. I wanted to put a bullet in her/my head.
In a nutshell, I want a sandwich, substitute the cheese with swiss, Jalepenos and cheese sauce on it, onions. Everything else put on the side, including mustard. I want three Jr. Bacons Cheeseburgers., one of them plain. Wait, make two of them plain. Make the other one extra bacon. Make sure all of the bacon is extra crispy. I want four kids meals. Wait, no, three. No wait, five. Nevermind, make it four again. All cheeseburgers, chili as the side. I know that's not an option for kid's meals but I want it anyway, and there's a line behind me and I'm not budging. Also, everytime you make a drink, I want to see you do a backflip, etc etc.
When I worked at Wendy's, my friend spit in some guy's fries at drivethrough 'cause the guy was being a total dicknob. Not that I condone that, but I don't understand people that get impatient or choosy with such things. It could just be because I've been there and know what it's like, but some people are seriously total #####ing mooks. I wish people like that where agoraphobic. Worst part is, they just breed other people like themselves. I see them everywhere, video game stores, music stores, any place where they don't have EVERYTHING right NOW, which is every place. Anyway I think I'll get some Wendy's now, I'm hungry and all this talk...

I like JC's face in that a lot. The body isn't necessarily bad but the pose needs some work. I like it a lot though. The Windush face is cool too. Both are still very "animu" or whatever (moreso the Wind face than JC), but it's nice and clean and defined/confident at least. Keep going with it.

I only have a couple songs from a few of his albums, nothing from MLK and maybe like A track from Absolute Power. What I've heard of Anghellic was pretty dope. I like the song Abe sent me from Everready, but that was really just a Kabosh song featuring Tech N9ne.

But don't come at me like I'M some #####ing C.H.U.D. just 'cause I allow myself to have a little laugh at no one else's expense. Chapter 3 is like where the plot starts actually going somewhere, if I remember correctly. And yeah, CM's battles were a copy of the tenth FF, but as I hate the tenth FF I was OK with that, since I didn't get bored of that system (only playing one game using it).

I never actually got to play any sequel (or prequel) to Lunar: SSS Complete. Mainly because I've never found a single copy of Lunar 2: Eternal Blue for sale in my life since I fell in love with the first one. The "newest" Lunar I've played was Lunar Legend, which is just a retelling of SSS on GBA with new sprites anyway. Not bad though.

When Shadow hit the scene I was in the demographic, I'm pretty sure. And I didn't think he was cool then. Sonic didn't need a rival, that's what Knuckles was for. And where Knuckles is totally awesome, Shadow is completely trite.

Try playing the original Grandia. It might be turn-based, but it does fun things with the battles, none of them are random, and you can just cruise through the game without fighting everything you see
You can do that in the original Lunar too, because all the bosses stats are based on Alex's. Ex: The boss on the ship or whatever has x11 of Alex's stats all over, so no matter what Alex's stats are you should be able to fight him successfully and not ever actually be forced to grind.

H-Hey bud... I'm in need of a slim PS2 power cord, you know... ;-)
Not so funny thing is, all those Ps2s don't have the cables (except for the fat Ps2). :' (
You're a Jays fan? I didn't know those still existed. Jays fans still exist, just not very many, that I know anyways :/
For a while the Ottawa Lynx was farming the Jays (or maybe Expos) but they switched to farming some northern US team. Either way, they closed up last summer. I went to the last game they had (home game, obviously), but now we have absolutely NO baseball in this town other than kids leagues (and I guess there's some beer leagues or something). Not that a lot of people were into the Lynx these past years since they started sucking and changed colours and mascots, but it sucks not having the OPTION to go see a game. Only one of my friends other than me likes baseball and he lives a couple hours outside Toronto, until he comes back in the fall for school.

That song was good but I much prefer the theme they actually use. JC, you don't watch the show so you don't really know what you're talking about, not to be offensive or anything. The "In the afterlife" song is great but it's much better IN the episode than as the title theme for the series.
Like ASR said, the other theme fits better with the style of the show and I actually think it makes the title sequence more comical, since the music isn't trying to be comical or peppy on it's own and the scenes you see are so odd. The real theme is a hell lot more unassuming. This feels like it's trying to hard to be like "Hay! We're a whole new sort of thing on TV, and we're funny, and individual, and cult, and great!" and I don't like stuff that thinks too highly of itself.
... OK well now I'm gonna have to go watch some Dead Like Me DVDs because of all this talk.

Shadow didn't have to be contrived, though. Seriously; Memory loss? Check. Dark colouring? Check. Thinks he's the best evar? Check. Was experimented on in a lab? Check. Emo themes? Check. Dark powers that use purple and black effects? Check. Throws the word Chaos around like it's nobody's business? Check. And it goes on.
I mean, he's basically almost a gay hedgey Wolverine getting his emo on. It's like Dark Claw, the Amalgam Universe combination of Wolverine and Batman.

His colouring is blue. He's Depressian. Sonic needed an "evil" counterpart. Shadow fit that roll. That's enough hedgehogs for me. Sonic, Shadow, and Amy.
Silver just made me think, "... Great. ANOTHER Sonic character."
Exactly. But like Alec said, he never needed an evil counterpart. Shadow is completely contrived and unoriginal. It's great Sonic has lots of characters, but there doesn't need to be multiple fast hedgehogs. Amy is annoying as #####ing hell, but at least she's not forced on us enough to have a lead role or story center around her. Yes, you had to go through her story in SA, but it was easy and quick. Shadow has his own game, for chrisseggs, and it sucks out loud.

I tried more closed eyes, made them look lazy or weird. I think one my eyes reacts to camera flashes more than the other (which kind of makes sense since I have minute astigmatism in one eye, giving me 19/20 vision) and it can at times look more closed than the other eye.

The actual action of the fighting is as in-between as character animation on another turn-based RPG, except you just get to have more control over things like hit or miss qualifiers and "speed" (the tendency to attack first or last).
I wasn't into the whole idea of CM at first glance, but I loved it. Don't know if I'd play through it aaalll over again, but it was definitely good despite it's flaws. Story was great, if a bit weird.

MMBN is technically turn-based. Simply by the idea that there's strategy to it that you get to decide in a turn, and pause break from the actual action of fighting. While it's true you don't HAVE to press L or R to open the chip thing, that is a PRINCIPLE point of the game and much of the game revolves around the idea of strategizing in these turns. That is turn-based.
If the actual strategic decisions had to made while the action was happening, like in Legend Of Zelda games, that would not be turn based and would be more of an action adventure.
The fact of the matter is that the main part of the fighting in game is based on strategy (Program Advances, element types, etc.) and that said strategy happens in a break from the action called a turn. It's a turn. The game is turn based. Deal with it.
Actually, I should also point out that no one can move or attack during the chip selection phase. There are other turn based RPGs that do let this happen, which each character having their own time in between turns. Like Chrono Trigger, and even one or two of the newer FF games. You wouldn't dispute that these are turn based, yet they offered MORE action during their strategic phases than Battle Network ever did.
Also, aside from the horrid amount of random battles, sloppy designs, and clunkiness, Command Mission was great.

Caricatures are actually a LOT harder than they make it look, I learned this year. It takes a lot of practice to find what exactly to exaggerate about someone to make it look exaggerated and comical but still capture their essence perfectly. And then to do it quickly, clean, and in one shot? That's beyond me.
