I like classic rock too, actually I love classic rock. We listen to the classic rock radio station at the CIC all day. But anyone who likes only one type of music and thinks no other genre is any good or has any good songs is either a total #####ing tool-moron, or a teenager. Probably both.
6952  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: I NEED HELP NOW!!! on: 23 July 2008, 22:39:54
I live at home because my campus is only an hour bus ride away and I don't have a career yet so I can't afford my own place (and I do mean my own, as I don't want a roommate at all but will have to have at least one).

Tell that to everyone in a G-Unit t-shirt. They are pretty much all over 14-15, and clearly stupid enough to like 50 Cent.

There are people who still like 50 Cent? Jesus, Mike, get Canada under control. I think the epidemic is more or less over across the border.

You must be dreaming.

(c)rap

That is seriously the most annoying rap commentary I keep seeing. As if one could categorize a whole genre as being crap that easily. I realize you weren't really saying all rap is bad (you'd be wrong), but still... Uhf!

I use the SD card to boost the pitiful amount of room on the Wii for save data.

Exactly. Except I can't back up games that are more important to me like Smash Bros.

He looks like a fun friend but he doesn't have the "goofy fat guy" aspect, or he does but it's watered down by something. I'm not sure what, there's just a quality missing or not missing.

And yeah I think he has Wind hair.
6958  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: AyEsArt - [7/22/08 - Redesigning Alec] on: 23 July 2008, 22:16:47
If you don't want dark hair, you'll have to draw the shape of the hair and not the individual strands since you're using a sharpie.

6966  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Greed Topic - wut u want!? on: 23 July 2008, 03:57:37
Our dollar goes a few cents over and back to equal to theirs lately, so everyone is just treating it as equal.

It's funny, I got a raise to $8.25 an hour about 6 months after working, but then the minimum wage was raised to $8.25, and my raise was never factored in after that.

Get used to that. It'll happen everywhere for the kind of jobs you're going to be doing in youth.

I make $8.90 an hour at the Silver Snail.
But I make $20 an hour or so with the government. Hopefully getting paid (and know my exact pay finally) tomorrow.
6967  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 23 July 2008, 03:49:33

It was a Hungarian Horntail, but I killed it quickly (gave off the effect that it disappeared) so you'd be safe for another day, Wind. But mostly I probably did it for the jailbait girls, depending how cute you say they were.

I could never bring myself to eat a hamburger made of ham. But the bar and gas is just fine.

Half of my family is insanely Redneck, and they insist on calling raw hamburger meat "hamburg", I ask them why and they say Hamburger is the plural of Hamburg.

I hate them..

Not only is that wrong, but it doesn't even actually make any real sense...

The plural being used for it because it's cooked? What?

Wait wait wait.  We forgot Knuckles.  Let's make him a pirate.

WHAT?!

Sonic's had plenty of games like X7 already though, CAN IT WORSE?

It can worse, I'm sure.

And everyone else made me look down in shame.  The only exceptions are Metal Sonic and Eggman.  They're still badass bad guys who search for Chaos Emeralds to take over the world.  And I love em for it.

*ahemknucklesrulesahem*

I sense the failure already.

That's all I bothered to read.

When I was fifteen I took apart a steam engine and then put it back together facing the opposite direction before anyone realized I was there and the train continued back down the way it came at the same velocity it was going before. So fifteen is age enough to man up.

... I need to start drawing little comics of my Ninja Places and these other such crusades...

I'm not being serious at all, I'm just saying you're age and newness to driving is showing. There's nothing wrong with it, just... You'll see what I mean when the new driver smell wears off or something.

I just realized that no one questioned that the "Speed Racer" only JUST got his own car.

That is some crazy stuff, Edge. Is he okay?

Amazingly, yes.

He has some bruising, cuts, and probably a few bruised ribs, but all-in-all he's okay.

At least, we think he is. He's too stubborn to see a doctor.

What actually happened? It looks like half the car decided to forcibly end it's relationship with it's other half.

Also, I'm ignoring the talk about driving permits and Mario Kart as when you two are like a year older you'll realize how gay a conversation that is.
6991  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 22 July 2008, 23:24:29
If she said "would you'd like to do?" I would HAVE to kill her.

You fool, Mikero doesn't need smoke bombs.

He just points in a random direction, shouts, "Look over there!" comically says, "Yoink!" and runs away. Don't you know Mike at all?

It's very hard to develop any sort of relationship with a ninja.

And he didn't either, apparently.

Is it still Wendy's you work at? Yeah, of course it is. I'd know that old fashioned drama anywhere.

6994  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Your Stuff! (lots of images) on: 22 July 2008, 22:52:26
I agree with Abe.

And yeah I've seen that show on TV a few times, but plan to watch it on DVD or something as it's good but I think watching episodes at random is not so hot. Like when I tried to show Jess an episode of Arrested Development and I spent half the episode explaining previous episodes. But we're gonna have an Arrested Development night, I'm forcing it to happen.
6995  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Greed Topic - wut u want!? on: 22 July 2008, 22:47:55
Just don't work in a restaurant department and you should be OK. Delis seem to be OK but that's for girls. Cash is stressful but I guess it's good, but generally only the good looking chicks and like 2 megametro/kindagay guys work cash. Bakery and meat are anyone's, but fish department will leave you smelling funkay. Packer/Service Clerks are the bitch of the store but it doesn't seem as bad as those people seem to complain about (but I was in the literally worst department, trust me). I think Produce is the best one, 'cause that one seems like just a bunch of cutting, washing, and other prepping of produce and putting it out. Oh and also being a d-bag seems to be in the job description.
6996  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: I NEED HELP NOW!!! on: 22 July 2008, 22:40:19
I'm surprised no one has thought that MAYBE his parents don't want him listening to whatever music they don't approve of not because of the lyrical content, but because it SUCKS.

Anyway I agree with Chron, and that is why I'm not helping Katie out.

Yes, you're generally old enough to be considered to "know better" than to do something because you heard it in a song

Tell that to everyone in a G-Unit t-shirt. They are pretty much all over 14-15, and clearly stupid enough to like 50 Cent.
6997  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Greed Topic - wut u want!? on: 22 July 2008, 22:26:36
My point was that it was at least better than working fast food.
Which I'm sure it is.

Despite never having worked in either business  8)

I've done both. They were about the same, but that's 'cause my department at the grocery store had similar work. But still the grocery store was slightly better, so yeah.
6998  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Greed Topic - wut u want!? on: 22 July 2008, 22:21:40
I did that but at least they were newer editions of the same shoe with different colours.

Heelies are so stupid.

I want a job.
Actually, I just want the money and my own video game series.
But eh.

Me too.

I have a job but I want a better one. I work with psychos and idiots alike. Customers and employees.

There has GOT to be a mental institution nearby somewhere. I just know it. Some of them must've escaped.

Maybe THEY'RE the sane ones and you're not!

Try a grocery store, I heard its right above fast food in the chain of jobs. I'll be applying for a grocery store, but it's summer and I'm soooooooo laaaazy....
Apply now, get money to burn.
Working in groceries can be hard work depending on what they give you.
And by "hard" I mean "lifting lots of cans and placing them on shelves".

No. Grocery stores suck to work in, in general. Pretty much everyone I know who's worked in a Loeb hated it, and I hated working at Market Fresh along with others who worked there. And putting junk on shelves was not my job. I doubt it even was anyone's ENTIRE job, too.
