My mom never watches a movie more than once I will never understand that. She has DVDs that are actually still in the shrink wrap. I also watch movies a ridiculous amount of times but I don't keep track.
Back in the day, I used to play VHS tapes enough that they'd break completely.

Check out "Hero", "Hip-Hop Is Dead", "Blunt Ashes", "Black Republican", "I Can", "Made You Look", and "If I Ruled The World (Imagine That)" for starters if you're gonna check him out, it should give some range without you needing to know his stuff more.
I find the more you know about how someone's stuff works, the more you get into their other songs so those are just some I could suggest, since really I like everything I've ever heard from him and can't really "suggest" better than that.
"Black Republican" has to do with the his (then recently) cooled feud Jay-Z, which is an interesting and relate-able story for me.

The first X-Files movie was pretty crap, enough that I've almost completely repressed it. This one was better, I think.
I've heard good things and bad about Step Brothers, so I don't really care.
Pineapple Express I'd like to see again, but I'll wait. I think I see movies multiple times in theatres too often. I saw Knocked Up with at least twice in theatre and like a billion times on DVD and have to take a break from it. Deciding wether I should include the commentary in that break.

To be fair, I did it too but on MSN. For a few hours. Then decided to rethink that when I saw everyone else also doing it.
I used a screencap I took from the youtube version of the trailer, it was of Rorschach's face in the same scene, but the close up where the water drops off. It's was very hard to tell what it was in 100x100 pixel form, though.

I can't comment on the whole album because the fifth track and first single, "Hero", is so good I keep repeating it instead of moving on.
But I love NaS' work. His 2006 CD, "Hip-Hop Is Dead" was really #####ing awesome too. He's one of the best mainstream artists of his genre out there. On MTV Live, the day before NaS was gonna be on it himself, Nelly was on and they asked him what he though and Nelly said something along the lines of NaS being the future of the genre. NaS is one of my top favourite rappers, but I don't necessarily agree. He's freaking dope, though.

The albums I recently bought (Shad and Disturbed I bought a couple weeks ago, so I've listened to them a lot more by now and pretty much have them both memorised); "The Old Prince" by Shad K, Rap/Hip HopSO good. "Indestructible" by Disturbed, MetalSO good. "Get Awkward" by Be Your Own Pet, Alternative/PunkSo far so good. (Listened to this one the least right now, but I like it a lot so far). "Untitled" by NaS, Rap/Hip HopSo far SO good. So that's what I'm listening to for the next few weeks, as I've not downloaded anything new in a long time and am getting bored of everything else that isn't these four albums I bought. There is a bunch of songs I want to get, but I just hate the slowness of LimeWire too much right now. I think South Park made a wise prediction when they said she would turn out to be the next Britney Spears. I can definitely see it happening.
I never watched South Park and I recall making a similar prediction.
Same here. I don't think that prediction was any bit that "wise". It's kind of more, an obvious possibility.

Saw the new X-Files movie. I'm not sure what I think. I liked it, but I would say that you should just wait for DVD or whathaveyou unless you really want to see it. It's not bad, it's just kind of... Not that X-Filesy. I definitely liked it though. Just not all that creepy or super-paranormal or anything. Lot more story than action, which I didn't mind.

RipStiks look very stupid.
Today, I got up late, played some San Andreas, and went to the movies with Jess. We planned to see Step Brothers but wouldn't have gotten seats together so after a big long amount of time trying to decide what to see, we saw the new X-Files movie instead.

No, it's not.
First off, you don't SEE the letters or numbers incorrectly at all, you comprehend them incorrectly. Often, people will mix up letters like b, d, p, and q which are all very similar in shape.
Dyslexia, at least as far as with reading and spelling in letters (i.e. not numbers), has to do with mixing up how letters relate as sounds. Dyslexics wouldn't comprened the letters in a random order, but would mix up two of the letters that are in word (often happens if the the word they end up with is similar looking to the correct word). So generally the entire word wouldn't be jumbled (I've just realized that word jumbles are a rather cruel game).
They also have more trouble with homophones than others, and almost everyone has trouble with homophones, so imagine that.

I can't say, I haven't read enough of either. But what I have read, they're rather similar. The Question is more of a conspiracy theorist type who seeks out the truth, kind of like a Mulder but that's a shoddy simile. Rorschach is more of a badass, probably.

Guys, Wind had it right.
The guy only meant that it's interesting we're all into MM9 as it is supposedly less sophisticated than those games, in that it's simpler, in that it's 8-bit. He didn't mean ZX was better. He didn't say anything about the plot or MMZ. He just thought it was interesting. It's not interesting to any of us, because we know why we feel this way. He does not have the benefit of having been here long enough to learn that lesson.
Jeez.

It depends on what kind of wheat bread.
This reminds me of Peep Show when Mark has a brown piece of toast and a white piece and thinks;
'Brown for first course, white for pudding, brown's savoury, white's the treat. ...Of course I'm the one whose laughing as I actually love brown toast.'

I'll probably go with Mini Mikero Munny.
Oh yeah, I got the white one. I don't have use for ones with weird colours right now and they don't make a black or glow-in-the-dark Mini.
Full-size would be fun but a LOT more work. And where would I put it? Same thing for the Mega Munny, which is like 200 bucks and 18" tall.
I kind of wanted to invent a Mikeromobile just to give me a reason to get the Mini Munny Mobile, which is a Mini Munny with a little car you can also paint. But I'll wait and if they ever make a Mini Motorbike for the Mini Munny I'll get that for the Mikero one.

Worked the store today. Almost caught up with my comics finally, but Barrell still comes in and #####s me over for it all by talking to me for hours. At least I'm almost back on track. Got a "Step Brothers" sweat band. I didn't really care about it, but it's red, white, and blue, and I wanted a sweat band like that. Free is free and I can hide the "Step Brothers" logo on the inside of my forearm enough. Bought Fables: 1001 Nights of Snowfall, which I have yet to read. Also bought a couple comics I'd already read but are part of what I collect, and a Mini Munny (yaaay!). Went to the Rideau Centre after work and bought two new CDs; NaS's new album with the controversial no-title, and Be Your Own Pet's album called "Get Awkward!" I haven't listened to either yet, but I have some tracks from the Be Your Own Pet album downloaded already, including the song "Becky" which was banned in North America because it says "We'll wait with knives after class". Seriously. What the hell? After that I visited Jess at her work and waited around for her while they closed the store then bussed back with her. Got eaten by some mosquitoes while waiting for my transfer bus (she got a ride from her parents from where we got off). Tomorrow I'm going to see "Step Brothers" with her. I don't really want to see it, have heard mixed reviews, but she wants to and I've seen everything I wanted to see that's currently out anyway. OH and this is for ASR; Yesterday I finished The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and will start The Restaurant at the End of the Universe this weekend. Which is a long weekend. Seems impossible that upcoming movie will satisfy. Unlikely to translate well to film. Highly reccomended everyone reads in original format.
Agree, but I'll be seeing it fooo sho. The prettiness of the movie actually goes against the idea of the book. The artist of the book can draw incredibly, but he had to dull it all out and-I think I've invented a great term here-boreify it all because that's what the STORY had to be like.

Today I finally bought my Mini Munny after keeping it in my drawer at the store for months and months! I CANNOT wait to colour this thing! I'm not gonna bother explaining what a Munny is, so I'll let Wiki do it; Munny is primarily a "Do-it-Yourself" type action figure which the owner can decorate using pens, pencils, markers, paint, and supposedly, ketchup. The action figure is made out of vinyl and has moveable joints. The random item mine came with is glasses, which the blue one wears here; I probably won't be doing anything with the glasses, but maybe if/when I make future Munny they will come in handy. I really wanted the trident, because I've been thinking of adding trident proficiency to Mikero. Not his regular weapon (of course, that is always nunchucks and shuriken), but you know something. My reasons for a trident are basically because I'm half "Barbadian" (your word, not ours) and a trident is the symbol on the flag, which has a become an important symbol of my heritage for me. If/when I ever get a tattoo, a trident or Lion of Judah will be prominent, I assure you. Anyway, I didn't want to get a full size Munny, or the Munny with the car (!), because I'm a Munny virgin and I'd rather pop my cherry with protection on this and colourize a smaller Munny first. I'm working on ideas in photoshop. I'm mostly thinking of a Mini Mikero Munny, but I might wait until later and experiment with a glow in the dark (would be awesome for the head lights) or black (just a lot less painting) full size Munny for that. If you care to look it up, Munny and Dunny painting and stuff is really popular with artists on the net. Some AWESOME stuff has been done with them. Right now, I just want to make my own characters (I can't believe I just kind of bought an action fig of one of my characters O_O) until I'm like... comfortable with doing them. And creative. And good. AAAAAH I'm excited.

That's how it works, yea? Corn grows in the rainforest in the canopy level and we clear-cut it? Yeah. That's how it works.

Jay and Bob was the first I saw. It's really only for fans of all the other movies (anything that happened before Jersey Girl) but it stands up on it's own if you like that sort of thing (it's mostly THEIR kind of humour, obviously, as opposed to what the other movies are like) and I always find it hilarious, even when I saw it without seeing any of the ones before it.
Clerks and Mallrats happen on the same day, or Mallrats is possibly the day before.

Edge does it! It's cool!
Anyway I hate ignorant people. I have fully decided that I work with one, who is also kind of a part-time possible racist. He's pretty much ignorant about all there is to be ignorant about. And one day he was talking about crime rates in this one area of town and then he was like "but they're all immigrants there" (they aren't) and that was weird. Then the other day he was telling a story, not a racist story or "joke" or anything, mind, but he said "packi" a few times. Then today he was telling another story and said Italian. But not Italian. You know, like I-Talian, or I, Talian, or iTalian (of course IN italian they'd make it sound more like e-talian but that's beside the point).
I'm still mad, obviously. But no one likes him anyway.

If you're gonna get the first Clerks movie, get Clerks X (pronounced Clerks ten, but I don't pronounce it like that 'cause it's kind of stupid) which is the 10th anniversary edition that has the original ending Miramax rejected and a cartoon of what happened when Dante and Randall went to the funeral. A good edition.
And Clerks 2 is just great. It's Kevin Smith's favourite of his View Askewniverse stuff, I believe. Scott Mosier too. At least it is compared to the first Clerks, for both of them. When you watch it on DVD, ALWAYS play whatever thing you're about to play with the introduction, when available, as those are great too.
I need to buy the Clerks cartoon on DVD. And Mallrats. And Dogman. And J&Bob. And Chasing Amy. And maybe Jersey Girl. In that order (Mallrats and Clerks cartoon can switch positions though).
