EarthBound would be one of few games I might theoretically possibly kind of buy on VC. But buying a game on VC means I only might theoretically possibly kind of own the game.

It's funny because the coins are never hidden!

Or lost. Mario's wallet must be a gateway to a pocket dimension or something. How can he hold so many coins without dropping any? What does he do with them? Why doesn't he roll them? Why doesn't he use bills like normal humans?

Excuse me, EVERY charging sound effect is annoying. The original ones are just worse.

And I think only really Abe has said "Inafking" here, and I'm sure it was in jest.

6256  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 23 August 2008, 23:42:58
Today I drove all the way downtown to get a haircut.
I don't know how I feel about it, it's nice that I'm short haired for a change, but I don't know about how it looks, it just looks kind of odd.
Then driving back I drove by a bunch of good looking women, all of 'em were wearing dresses even and they were all standing outside of a big ol' house. Then I turned the corner and saw a similar sight, then another, then another.
It was mega-weird.

Garden parties before a prom, maybe? I know it's not that season really, but that's the sort of thing that happens. Or maybe there's a rash of weddings.
6257  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 23 August 2008, 23:40:24
They showed GUTS! on YTV. Not that other junk.

It wasn't really GUTS! on rollerblades... It's was like... Obstacle course but on rollerblades and #####. It was very boss.
6258  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 23 August 2008, 23:38:52
The minute I saw the trailer for the first time I instantly thought "Twisted Metal?.."

I said it was the best Mario Kart ever during the movie. And it really is video-gamely. They have to run over pads to activate weapons or shields.

Fight Club is cool but a bit overrated. Before that movie ever existed though, my friends and I had a fight club, but it was called Fight Night. It was on Wednesdays.

There's a concept floating around that you've either seen the Star Wars or the Godfather movies, or neither, but never both. I intend to see Godfather so I can be better than everyone ever.

Now stop reading this post and go watch the Die Hard and Terminator movies.
6259  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 23 August 2008, 23:32:30
GUTS! ruled.

They had a similar show except on rollerblades. It was cool.

Don't know the show, but the shirt IS nice without knowing the show. Just not something I'd make any size of deal over (but I'm sure if I knew the show I would but I don't know the show, but the shirt IS nice without knowing the show).
6264  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 23 August 2008, 01:03:59
I never watched the original but heard enough about it in high school. This one is only BASED on Death Race 2000.

But it was actually like... The least cheesy "ridiculous action" movie I've seen in a long time. Although one of it's trailers is for "Fast and Furious", which is of course another in the "The Fast and the Furious" line except this one is a proper sequel to the original. And by 'proper sequel' I mean it has the same characters finally, and I don't mean 'good sequel'.

Also the Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott movie looks awesome. I'm not sure if it's a Judd Apatow but all signs point to yes seeing as a helluva lot of people from his movies are in it including the hilarious doctor from Knocked Up.

I've decided that I liked Death Race. Which is very surprising to me. I can't really find the words for it now. Like...It's not epic or anything but it's not bad.

I didn't see the first one until after everyone talked about it like crazy for a year. It was OK at best. The funniest thing is in the DVD menu where you go to special features. That sequence with Pinocchio is better than the whole movie.
