At work today...
Well. On the subject ALAN Moore books. This is just perfect isn't it? After waiting over a year for Absolute Watchmen to come I finally accepted that it was out of print forever and bought the one I bought.
Guess what recently came back in print and we have at the store now? Absolute-#####ing-Watchmen. Goddamnit.

"Terrorists", and the rest of the world, would/will possibly identify better with Obama than U.S. presidents in the past. He has a more "World" look. As I mentioned earlier; This is something I learned from Miss USA 2007 (yes, I never thought I'd say I learned anything from a professional beauty pageantist) on some show, to paraphrase; "Miss USA can't be Miss Universe. Miss USA doesn't have a 'world look.'" Basically since most of the world isn't White guys, you see.

I can't have Winamp on this OS so I originally just went with what it had temporarily. That turned permanent when I got an iPod Shuffle. I'm still using iPod so I'm still using iTunes. Otherwise, I'd probably not use it.

Foil on plastic piping tube. When I originally made the costume years ago, I got some of the parts from the hardware store. = Badass.
There were two Luke Cages at the party I went to.
They're both copying my actual life.
One of them had a better costume.
I had a better version of it in the past, actually. This one I prepared the night before so, yeah.

|
on: 7 November 2008, 06:12:25

Only good Bond since GoldenEye was NightFire, or maybe Agent Under Fire because those have too-similar names for my tiny mind.
Agent Under Fire was the best I've played since GoldenEye, so I'm thinking it's that. I don't remember being greatly moved in either direction by NightFire. But more what I meant was that as someone who doesn't particularly get into any FPS games, I'm usually a lot more into the Bond games when I play them (though they aren't really FPSsy at all...) and actually bother continuing level to level. Though I dislike stealth missions in any game. Sounds weird coming from me right? Wrong. Because what I mean by stealth missions, is stealth like in Bond, or GTA, or even MGS at times where you don't really have any kind of stealth skills at all other than moving and crouching behind ##### at the right damn time. And you move around like a lummox and just stand in places people don't happen to be looking at. Because I love games where I have skills I can use to be stealthy. Like using shadows, or good camouflage (the system of it in MGS3 is cool with the percentages and stuff, but the no radar thing and everything/one looking the same doesn't go with me, since if everyone else is camo then I don't know why it's special that I am), or grappling up walls, or sneaking under a guy by hanging on the ledge under him. Cool #####. Not walking around normally and just hoping the guy doesn't turn a corner. That's not stealth tactics at all. That's hide and go seek tag. Except you die or lose or whatever and have to start all over and it's not the least bit fun. At least in GTA SA if you're caught they just a hundred guys in to kill you, which is actually manageable in that somehow... I'm tired of getting frustrated to the point of suicide on certain games. There's a whole area in Bully, where you sneak into this asylum or whatever, where you can't be seen. It would almost have been fun if not for this part that was ludicrous hard. Basically there's a guard at a window who keeps looking left and right. You have to go from the door (which by rights he should be able to see you waiting in), crouched, and move to the wall in front of him when he glances away from you. And then out the door on the other side when he looks the direction you came. It doesn't sound hard but was the only hard part in the game. He looks to your left and swings to the right so fast it takes an assload of tries (and you have to rebreak into the asylum and move around not getting caught in it every time, since when caught you get thrown back outside the gates and all) before you get under him there at the wall. When he looks right, he looks a bit longer so getting out of the room is more simplified but it's still easy to get caught. It was frustrating to the point where things weren't fun for that part. I hate that.

Too late, K-Sauce Haruspex. Someone cool already said similar. I swear I've never even heard of that show, but it looks intriguing!
SURE you haven't. And you clearly made the last panel av size!
You mean square? I did. But size wise on the actual thing you'd get like maybe one eye in there, really. I drew the panel border after I drew the you. But hey, if you want that in your rotation I'll be the opposite of complainy!

The movie just had what I liked best, all the talking with Vs and it all just moved along normally. Like, the book is too slow me knowing it all. But I haven't tried to read it in a long time so maybe that's changed.

Yeah. I'd even accept a friend request from a pencil sharpener. Posted on: 5 November 2008, 22:44:20
I'm the best there is at what I do. My boss keeps telling me, on his way out for the day, to go home a half hour early or when I'm done this particular thing because I'm fast and good enough at it that I finish things before he can get other stuff for me to do. Sometimes I'll finish something and he tells me to go play on the computer or do whatever for a while because whatever's not ready for me yet. Today he said to go home when I finish one particular pile of work. Today I got off an hour early. Yeah. I'm good. The other day I downloaded Windows Cave Story onto a USB stick, and then installed it back on to that stick at work. What that means is that I have Cave Story completely installed on this little stick, and I can play it at work without it having to leave anything on the actual computer and thus bypassing being bored all the time since half the websites there are blocked (even government ones gets filtered sometimes) which includes even ARTICLES about games and ##### as "games". So yes. Wicked. And later I'm going to some thing at my friends' where we're eating tacos and watching the new Futurama movie apparently.

It's a hell of a lot more boring. So, I really want to Quantum of Solace but I don't know where any movie theaters are...
Mikero, which bus should I take to get to the nearest theater? :>
I drive to the theatres in your neck of the desert (sure, that's a saying), sorry. Ask around, you'll want to go see it at the Coliseum, which is... ::licks finger and puts it to the wind:: ... West of you, on the highway at least. But I've no idea what bus would go from Baseline to there. Alternatively you could take any bus that goes to the Bayshore Shopping Centre, except you don't know where to walk from there (it's like a 5-10 minute walk from that mall).

The last one is amazing Mike, you should seriously do something with it!
Hein? Like what? Other than "How does I drink drink?". Smooth Stark gets all the ladies! Even fictional characters like Hitomi from Escaflowne. Eat your heart out Japanese kids trying to marry her. My other costume, at the store. Bad photo, but like only 5 people here will really get it anyway and I'm two of them.

That's why I call(ed) it what I did. It sounded like "chuck-chuck-chyuuken" to me.
OK, pause for a second; Am I the only one yelling this out in my head everytime it's mentioned instead of just saying it like a word? No? OK.
But yeah, Hurricane Kick I think. Every once in a while I take the time to learn the name of it, and then forget it soon after.

I didn't even know you could do that.

My friend has the disc, it's the one he lent me. However, it's foreign.
I got the first game a long time ago when the place I was constantly renting it from closed down. 15 bucks. But somehow they managed to lose the cloth map in the days between me renting it and buying it.
I have the rest, but I'm not sure where everything is right now. One of the discs is in my PSOne, and the other MIGHT be in the case but I'm not sure. The OST disc was put into a CD case thing with other CDs but now I'm not so sure where it is, or where it's case is. I really need to find this stuff. But I know exactly where the book is, and it's condition is perfect thank God.
Luna's boat song is great, as is every other song really. But the opening... Oh man.
In your dreams...

As was said earlier, you could play as Roll as well. It was a MM alternate or something, I've since forgotten how to do it but you could do it in the arcade and everything.
There was a similar trick to get War Machine from Iron Man (awesome).

I could only ever get it to START working, and then it would cut out and not work, so I've never had the chance to play it. I can't discuss why here, but I guess saying that is enough.
I've never seen it in a store.

Yes.
If someone ended up marrying one of my characters, I'd write him or her into substance abuse, have them get paralyzed-but not so paralyzed they can't beat the piss of out their spouse every night-and have all their hair fall out and then get a very expensive disease and make them completely unable to be with anymore. Then in the resulting divorce, my character would win alimony in the hearing. The hearing that I write in the comic about this character.
And then I'd watch the real life money roll in on the fake life character's divorce.
