Was gonna say that exactly.

Also, that other one. What's it called? Megaupload or some thing.
10952  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Gonna be gone for awhile on: 5 January 2008, 01:28:43
I hate these kinds of topics so if no one minds I'll say it here instead of making my own but my laptop is messed up. I think the power cord fried or something 'cause it won't charge back up and the battery is dead so I can't use it at all. I'm using my other, 10 000% more annoying, computer so I can come online but since I hate this computer and I can't take it everywhere like a laptop I might be scarce for a bit.

That said I'm taking the laptop in first thing tomorrow morning so this could all be a one night deal and thus another reason why I don't need to make a whole thread to say why I'm not around. Even though my comings and goings aren't something that really needs to be announced or anything. I'm rambling.

Anyway this is why I think there should be one specific thread for this type of thing.

Edit: I also just noticed that my sig is squares on this PC. It's supposed to be skull and crossbones, which I copied off a website so the text should work for any OS... Is it just my old browser or does this happen to all you other kids?

Caine.

There was even a jail bait/barely legal preggo girl who hung around growing a crack baby and riding around in a new Mustang smoking like she doesn't give a #####. I was so pissed off.

Here comes another high school story from Old Man Mikero but in high school we called one of our friends Cap'n Obvious.

Cap'n! HAHA, you know, like the cereal guy!

It sounds worse than my dads old place, and there was a coke dealer living in the downstairs apartment.
10962  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Anti-Dandruff Shampoo on: 4 January 2008, 06:09:05
I don't really care if I use a 2 in 1 or not but I don't like to over shampoo and I need to condition more so separate just works out better for me. But Fructis and H&S are probably the only good 2-in-1s out there.

Fructis makes the whole bathroom smell awesome.
10963  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The Super Special PBnJ Adventure Cartoon Thread (Updated! Dec 26-27th) on: 4 January 2008, 06:04:37

10964  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The NMO Story Jam! on: 4 January 2008, 06:02:57
We brought in N64s or whatever we needed.

I've since lost my N64 and games. Could have been stolen, could have been left, I don't know. Could even be in my house and I was just so caught up in the hubbub of a real life that I forgot where I put it. Regardless, not a happy ending.
10965  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Starforce 2 on: 4 January 2008, 06:00:50
The umbrella is free.  Ponchos are extra.

"Sano was ravaged by Nibbles and all I got was this lousy poncho" ???

A BARGAIN AT ANY PRICE, GOOD SIR.

What is with the Umbrella thing guys?

Well, Danny Devito used one to commit murders in a movie where he looked kind of like a penguin and had all these penguins and walked, talked, and squawked like a penguin.

I think it was "Twins".

10968  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The NMO Story Jam! on: 4 January 2008, 05:53:03
I was doing many things, I always am.

Anyway my school had something called CougarVision which we got with association in this government (I think) program called Cable In The Classroom, and so we had a school network and a TV or two in every room and they were fair game at lunch.

Actually, we got that whole school playing video games at lunch after a while. Mostly Smash Bros., Soul Calibur 2, Tekken 2-4, etc.

I don't know if I'm gonna train a ninjapprentice yet. It's not that I can't, I'm just not that old yet. Of course, Batman's been training 3 of his own for like 70 years now...
10969  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 4 January 2008, 05:48:52
No Wii software can access the SD Card directly... it's just for temporary storage.
You need to transfer a stored save file OFF of the SD and back onto the Wii HD if you want to play from it.

It bugs me, really. Quite a bit.
I'm also scared about the VC Games, because apparently they're registered DIRECTLY to your individual Wii, so if the console is damaged, you need to go through a bunch of crap on the phone with Nintendo to get the rights back to everything you bought.

I understand why for both of those, but it sucks.
10970  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The NMO Story Jam! on: 4 January 2008, 05:46:26
Now, would it be tasteless to make a joke about it really being "Ultimate" Frisbee in that instance?

I think so.

I don't care. I didn't know him, he was some freshman and we were playing original Smash Bros.
10971  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The Super Special PBnJ Adventure Cartoon Thread (Updated! Dec 26-27th) on: 4 January 2008, 05:44:55
I like Jake's emerald arm.
10972  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Anti-Dandruff Shampoo on: 4 January 2008, 05:42:28
Luthor.

Anyway that show is actually not bad. I haven't seen the movie in it's entirety though.

I have no sense of smell... so I have absolutely no basis on choosing shampoo other than the results I can feel.

Which means, I might find the greatest shampoo ever... except it smells like #####. And I would never know.

Trust me, I don't take hair-care this seriously, since it's starting to sound like I do. I just buy Head & Shoulders, then I use it. Not much thinking involved.

I have to know a bit, because my hair is straight when short and curly when long so I need to condition daily or it hurts like a bitch when it starts curling. Well, it hurts either way, but less...

I've heard it's tear-full depending on who you are and how you do.

And don't worry, I'm pretty sure "smooth & silky" is the industry standard description for good hair quality.

Fructis smells awesome.

He needs a new groove.

But not a new school...
10975  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 4 January 2008, 05:17:04
All I know is that with the Wii it's kind of annoying using external memory. I don't even know if a game can access a save file directly from the SD (or whatever) card or if you have to copy the data to the hard drive to play. Not that it comes up a lot.
10976  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The NMO Story Jam! on: 4 January 2008, 05:15:15
That sucks. In high school this guy dropped dead out of nowhere playing ultimate frisbee at lunch. He was totally normal and then boom, his heart stopped. Actually a lot deaths and other accidents started happening that year out of nowhere.

But I digress... This thread has it all, folks. Comedy. Drama. Tragedy. Celebrity Pharmacists.

That's what I don't like about hard drives in console gaming.
10978  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Best metroid game on: 4 January 2008, 05:10:48
I didn't say "it just isn't" in that post, I said the argument "It is Metroid because Nintendo says so" is a totally moot point since we're not really talking about that. I'm just not bothering to repeat myself as to why I think it isn't. I also tried Prime Hunters, but not much. And I've checked out that whole demo thing of Prime 3, which I thought looked fun but the video of the battle with the Space Pirates where there's a ship overhead or something and you're on some round platform looked very non Metroidy but I'd have to play it to know.
10979  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 4 January 2008, 05:06:23
I was surprised the medium version of Slow Ride is as different as it is.
10980  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Games you wish had sequels on: 4 January 2008, 05:03:14
I hope it is pretty bad compared to the first Prime, because I got pretty bored of all the fetching. Like I was glad to see Space Pirates show up because they offered something to actually do. Another problem I had with Prime 2 is the whole dark world thing. I'm tired of that plot device in games.
10981  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Best Virtual Console Game on: 4 January 2008, 05:01:11
I found it fun and original... If it were made for like, say, the Super Nintendo I bet it would be better.

Probably. It's not that the originality was bad, it just wasn't implemented correctly. And seriously, random battles in a Zelda game? No thankzz!
10982  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Best Virtual Console Game on: 4 January 2008, 04:51:19
Zelda 2 is horrible. It's the worst Zelda game I've ever played. I'm not afraid of a challenge but a game that barely even functions correctly is something else.
10983  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Best metroid game on: 4 January 2008, 04:48:46
A lot of people agree that marrying cousins is fine. That Alanis Morissette understands the definition of irony. That cucumbers taste worse pickled.

They're all wrong too. ;-)

But the issue isn't wether or not the game is called Metroid. It's wether it plays like Metroid. Just because Nintendo says "This is a Metroid game", that doesn't mean the discussion is just done.
10984  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Best Virtual Console Game on: 4 January 2008, 04:44:52
DO NOT buy Zelda 2. It would be better to pay to come kick you in the head. I'm not even joking. I think the rest should be fine but I'm not sure on some.
10985  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Games you wish had sequels on: 4 January 2008, 04:42:57
Being that Prime 2 is almost boring, I can imagine how boring the first Prime is.

10987  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Anti-Dandruff Shampoo on: 4 January 2008, 04:39:23
I don't know how "anti-dandruff" a fortifying shampoo is, but I use Garnier's Fructis Fortifying shampoo, and then use their Fructis conditioner. It's really great, have used it for years.

I find it sad there's nothing better to talk about though.
