1951  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Proof of Megaman 9? on: 12 July 2008, 19:34:39
Do I detect a hint of sexism there?

A little mecha-estrogen isn't going to ruin the world.
This could have been done long ago without any severe repercussions.
1952  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Expired Dose of DASH! on: 12 July 2008, 13:57:42
Yeah, none of the login PHP functions get saved on the Wayback Machine.
It means I can't review Skull Castle at all.

... I wonder if we could ask them to crack it open?

And that image brings back some memories.
1953  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 12 July 2008, 13:53:28
Do you know nothing of female anatomy?

She gets a good lesson every time she looks in a mirror, I'm sure.
Do you even read what you type Sano?

I'm as curious as Mikero is to know what was happening in that comic. Doesn't make sense.
Or maybe I'm drunk as well? But it's morning.
That's no time to be drunk.
1954  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 12 July 2008, 13:48:14
Oh, man. That's like playing Barney's Hide and Seek on easy mode.
You gotta keep the cans full. RESIST THE URGE!

I've never been able to collect them because Surge is irresistible.
Even when it's years old.
1955  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Games you wish had sequels on: 12 July 2008, 13:45:07
*beats Kamon over the head with a dirty mop*
PAY ATTENTION
THERE IS NO SEQUEL
1956  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on: 12 July 2008, 13:43:58
I liked Minish Cap.
Well, once. I'd never play it again.
1957  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 12 July 2008, 13:43:08
That sled stage was horrible the first few times.
But I can do it flawlessly these days.

Oh. I was going to play some Grandia Digital Museum, but apparently the disc is broken. S'okay, got it for free, so it was a long shot. That and I can't read moon language anyway.

I may very well play some Legends today.
in fact i think i will
1958  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Expired Dose of DASH! on: 12 July 2008, 04:59:50
It's a blast from the past.
Apparently there are some backups of bits of LizSama's old DASH! website. And the all-important message board.

I don't remember the site looking quite like that, but a lot of the images are just destroyed.

I HAD A DREAM!
And Rez and Speed and Xero and orclev and pretty much nobody else was in it.

The link will take you straight to the message board. Just rip off the part of the URL behind megaman/ to check the site out (nice text design).

I posted under the name Chrono here.
Back when everything was guns and roses and I was a horrible, horrible loser.
Well.
I was more of a loser.

Take a peek if you want to see me acting like an idiot, or see Rez in his prime.

Oh, and here's some sort of horrible thing I found.
Click on it before he deletes it and bans me.
1959  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 12 July 2008, 03:38:42
The A is nice and mellow.

That box art metafact makes me cringe.
1960  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 12 July 2008, 03:35:51
Yeah, now THAT is a collectible.

But I'm curious to taste Manic Mallow and Curious Contraption, myself.
1961  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 12 July 2008, 03:33:40
My name is Aquaman, but you can just call me handsome GUY. <3
1962  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Games you wish had sequels on: 12 July 2008, 03:32:33
The only region lock is actually a pair of small tabs in the NTSC-U console's cartridge bar.
These can be removed to allow NTSC-J carts to be player.

Super Famicons are fit to play NTSC-U carts if you can jam one in the slot.
1963  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Games you wish had sequels on: 12 July 2008, 03:18:25
I just remembered that I wish that Gunstar Heroes had a sequel.

And Pinky and Yellow get together and have a beach slumber party.
It'd be great.
1964  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 12 July 2008, 03:16:55
I would drink it any way.
I need a supply of cheap artificial pineapple soda and real maple syrup to keep myself moving.

OH HEY AND IMAGE WHAT A NOVEL IDEA

SODA
1965  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: What ever happened to the pet rock? on: 12 July 2008, 03:12:47
... I see an animated avatar.
):

Pet rocks are nothing unless it's a real piece of obsidian that's sharpened to a cutting edge.
Great for small children and animals!
1966  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 12 July 2008, 03:10:20
Now I'm angry that I can't find pineapple Fanta any more.
Thanks, Mike.
1967  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on: 12 July 2008, 03:06:08
Yes. I saw this ad for Gunstar Super Heroes.
So I decided to "try it out" when the Japanese version came out.

About five minutes later I found myself deep within Black's Silly Dice Maze in the original game throwing the die with unparalleled rage.
1968  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Final Fantasy IV on: 12 July 2008, 03:00:24
If I were HAL2000, I would be broken now.
1969  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass on: 12 July 2008, 02:58:52
I saw my sister playing this game.

Then I went and played Gunstar Heroes.
That's my story of how I had fun with Phantom Hourglass.
1970  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Final Fantasy IV on: 12 July 2008, 02:54:50
Only in Mike land.
1971  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 12 July 2008, 01:54:00
That...
... that doesn't sound like a good thing.

Although it is.
1972  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 12 July 2008, 00:59:42
It's not like post office workers were never children, Chron.

When most of them were children, there was no Mega Man.
1973  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: PREVENTERS! -The BEST comic jam on: 12 July 2008, 00:27:34
Huh. That art style is very familiar.
1974  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: PREVENTERS! -The BEST comic jam on: 12 July 2008, 00:05:37
Yes.
Your n00b is showing.
1975  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: SAMMMRCPT! - Back! Now with 100% more ZER crossovering! on: 12 July 2008, 00:01:59
Why, Sano. I'm not sure what we could tell you that we haven't already a million times.
Besides, without you, we lose our punching bag.

Well, mostly.
1976  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 12 July 2008, 00:00:02
Somehow I don't think they'd even know what it is.
1977  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 11 July 2008, 23:58:50
Is the ass grabbing necessary?
1978  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: IM Topic~ on: 11 July 2008, 23:45:58
People nabbed things from various forums all over the internet (screencaps, transcriptions, etc). The best bits were taken and animated.

I think it's a Something Awful tradition.
1979  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The O's Art on: 11 July 2008, 23:43:48
That's delicious and fine.
1980  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: SAMMMRCPT! - Back! Now with 100% more ZER crossovering! on: 11 July 2008, 23:41:10
Remind me why we keep this guy around?
1981  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 11 July 2008, 23:38:28
Angry Video Game Nerd or Yahtzee would work as well.
1982  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: IM Topic~ on: 11 July 2008, 23:19:30
How is babby formed?

Yeah, it was rich the first time I saw it... like a long time ago.
The rest of the Best of Weekend Web is better.
1983  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 11 July 2008, 23:15:27
Yeah, the music is definitely lacking a catchy tune or beat to it.
It'd be sad if they were all unmemorable.
1984  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Video share topic on: 11 July 2008, 22:29:02
: pumoo
オープニングで、このゲームに
興味をもち、当時購入。

エンディングで、感動しました。

I agree with this comment. Whatever it means.

Babelfish says it means:
With opening, at that time in this game with interest, purchase. With the ending, you were impressed.

So apparently it means "This was classy stuff for its time, so I bought it and was impressed with the ending."
1985  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 11 July 2008, 22:08:25
I'm not sure you know what I mean by "white" sand, but right.
But it still looks fun regardless.
1986  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Video share topic on: 11 July 2008, 22:07:16
I want you all to watch this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbAu5uK1XaY

Then I want you all to tell me how you feel inside.
Actually you can just listen to it after you see the animation loop a bit.

Nightmare mode is staring at it.
1987  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 11 July 2008, 22:06:06
Trust me, that's not the right face.
1988  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The Super Special PBnJ Adventure Cartoon Thread (HOT DATE) on: 11 July 2008, 22:05:12
I love you.
1989  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: PREVENTERS! -The BEST comic jam on: 11 July 2008, 22:04:31
... you know, even when I was a n00b I never did ask that.
It was back on DASH where I got my wings, and there custom avatars were a privilege that only admins could deal out.

Which I actually consider a decent system. People have to rise out of anonymity (with basic avatars) before they get noticed. I think sigs were the same. Been a while.
1990  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 11 July 2008, 22:02:17
He means that you represent the truest and most pure of bonds between friends.

And you're a good kisser.

Well.
I think that's what he means.
1991  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 11 July 2008, 22:01:29
The tourism board would say it's because you've never been there.
But all beaches are just slightly salty (or sour) smelling places with gritty sand and less-than solid ground with dead animals laying about.

Oh, and scantily clad people of all ages.
Can't forget that.
1992  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 11 July 2008, 21:59:40
... whoa, whoa, WHOA.

The main character is a MARY SUE?
WHERE IS THE AUTHOR
WHY IS THIS BOOK POPULAR
I'M GOING TO GRIND SOME BONES TO MAKE MY BREAD
I NEED MY MEDICINE
1993  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: PREVENTERS! -The BEST comic jam on: 11 July 2008, 21:58:14
Ah, White Shadow.
He's on so infrequently I couldn't remember.
1994  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The Super Special PBnJ Adventure Cartoon Thread (HOT DATE) on: 11 July 2008, 21:56:13
QUIET, ALL OF YOU

...
They're approaching the Tyrannosaur Paddock
Actually, just stop and wait for Snare to be awesome again.
1995  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: PREVENTERS! -The BEST comic jam on: 11 July 2008, 21:54:26
I don't remember you being staff of any kind.
1996  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The "How Was Your Day?" Thread on: 11 July 2008, 21:53:02
Sounds like you've been having quite the time, CV.
It's good to have interesting college professors. It only gets better in your major, too. My Comp Sci instructors were good fun to talk to (and annoy the hell out of).

IE7 pwns.

>:(
1997  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show Yourselves! on: 11 July 2008, 21:48:34
That is some horrible, dirty, disgusting sand there.

Why isn't it white?
What did you do to your sand?
How awful.

In Florida sand is pure white. Like sand should be.
THIS ANNOUNCEMENT HAS BEEN PAID FOR IN FULL BY THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TOURIST REVENUE

Actually, being buried in sand is a lot of fun (unless people are going to kick you or pee on you). Otherwise it's cool.
1998  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: Matricians: Show your Avatars! on: 11 July 2008, 21:46:32
You'd be hard-pressed to keep up with most of them.
Avatars change faster than you can snap. But that seems to fit you somehow.
1999  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The Interesting Image thread! (try to avoid memes) on: 11 July 2008, 21:44:54
Like most small rodents, it's no good unless eaten whole, so you get the crunchiness of the bones and sweet taste of organ meat all in one go.
2000  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The O's Art on: 11 July 2008, 21:37:09
And exactly how is this different?
Goodness. Football?

When we're trying to figure something out like a close-up, it helps if it's something fairly recognizable; otherwise there are just too many possibilities and confusions to get in the way of a logical guess.

Now if that were Sorcerer Hunters or Slayer's I'd be fine.
