Quick Boomerang is lowspeed, but you have a million of them and they really live up to their name.
The Bubble Lead is just extremely tactical. I liked it when the weapons themselves had good uses.

If Fusion made you crap your pants, THEN YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE A PREVENTER okay maybe that one part after the spider boss BUT STILL
Zero Mission does make me happy. Classic controller + Super Metroid Wii = happy Chron (and apparently 100% in 2:55, which ALSO makes me happy).
One thing that would REALLY make me happy is getting the damn player models to work properly in Garry's Mod. I want to be FREE FREEMAN
Freeman makes me happy, but I'm not sure why.

You gotta admit that the metal blades were all you used in MM2, though. I go get those first and them use them pretty much all the time. They're undoubtedly the handiest weapon in the entirety of the games.
I don't think X ever gets any omni-directional weapons... well, there is Izzy Glow's weapon, but it's slow. Oh, well.

I would have voted for Cossack in a heartbeat, but I went for Light. Wily is super badass and awesome and stuff, but I don't regard MMZ Zero as the same thing as MMX Zero. The one in MMZ just looks like Axl with amnesia, and he's not even as good of a fighter. Plus, his armor has weak points all over; that's a pretty crappy reploid there. SO I don't include that in my decision (and if I did it wouldn't be credit to either doctor).
Wily may have built Bass, but he's been bested several times by Megaman, so that doesn't matter either. He's got a lot of gusto, though, trying so many times to take over the world.
On the other hand, we have Dr. Light. He built Rock to be nothing more than a janitor. A janitor. And then, in a heartbeat, converted him into a fighting machine so powerful that he was able to not only destroy the industrial robots running amok, but various creations of Wily's that were unspeakably powerful, AND a crappy copy Megaman. Then he did it several more times. All the while gaining a power-up here and there.
And he was instantly modifiable. And the weapons system? The one that FABRICATES other weapons systems? That's some crazy stuff. And he put it in X, as well (even Zero's weapon system isn't that advanced).
On the subject of X, X is infinitely modifiable. He has more armor parts than god does, as SB mentioned. Light BUILT all of those before he died. Light built spike-resitant armor. In the Megaman universe that's like finding the holy grail.
And then he allowed X to charge his special weapons, transforming the android into a mobile weapons platform the likes of which has never been seen. But X isn't just an engine of destruction.
Oh, no. He has feelings. He has a conflicted moral consciousness that would make Nietzsche cry with shame. It's amazing that he's never gone bat##### crazy, given eveything that's happened to him. X really does have quite an amazing character, and that was partly Light's doing (X has free will, so that's debatable).
And even if you DO include Megaman Zero, X is still more horrifyingly powerful than Zero his. The only reason he was able to win in the first place is that he wasn't even fighting X. X had transcended time and space in some sort of robotic-zen-like thingy.
Also, Dr. Light built Roll.
So I think he wins by default.
(also it's Genghis)

Now that I think of it, dashing and shooting up at the same time might be slightly problematic for the games. Not sure how. Just seems kind of awkward.

The Metroid Prime games have plenty of exploring and sequence breaking, mind you.
Are you #####ing retarded? Sorry for the rudeness, but COME ON. There's ONE in Prime, and it's just an early Space Jump that's barely useful.

You don't play Metroid for text. You play it to explore and break the game out of sequence so badly the original designers don't even recognize it.
You can't do that in Fusion, so meh.

I love Grandia. I love Wild Arms (before 4). I like good turn-based games. FF is just...
... it's way too boring. I would beat them if I didn't get deathly bored half way through every last one of them. Hell, I've made it farther through Dragon Quest VIII than any of the FF games, and that has the most traditional turn-based style battle system of them all.
In my experience, that's the sign of a bad game.

People think that MM9 is meant to bridge the gap, because they're blatantly stupid, and likely Americans. When the logic is that "X MEANS 10 IN ROMAN NUMERALS, RAWR!", as to HOW this idiotic notion came to exist, without people realizing that there's NO XI, just X, and THEN X2 and further down the line...
Yeah...
No REAL offense to the Americana posters here, but I don't really see the Japanese or Euroland gamers tossing that one out for years on end, with THAT logic.
I have met a fairly large number of idiots from Canada and Europe, some of whom think that way. There are idiots everywhere; there are just more idiots in the US. Who shout out their nationality after being idiots.

OFF THE HOOK!
The opening... looks interesting. Apparently it's been some time since Rock last did anything, from Dr. Light's words.
Maybe the slide and charge were removed because he didn't think he'd have to fight again?

But the point is that it's difficult to dodge these attacks because you have to dash, not duck.
You guys are starting to sound like those people who want X to be able to shoot up...
It's logical. Besides, he can shoot up when using other weapons. From the point of view that it makes the game more difficult, yeah, I guess that's okay, but then if you could shoot up, imagine how clever they could be. Oh, wait, this is Capcom. Never mind that.

I've only heard Big O used as an expression of mathematical complexity. Big-O notation is used to mark the upper-bounds of a function or series of functions in computer science (and calculus or something like that). Finding them requires the use of proofs, usually induction or something similar.

There were a few points in the other games where it would help. I hated dashing under projectiles just to dodge them when just ducking would have sufficed.
It would be like... ... like the slide kick in Super Mario 64. Almost never useful, but not a problem.

That Kirby's Superstar is pretty much the same. Looks like they added some cut scenes, but didn't put any effort into redoing the game.
Which is okay, I guess, but both of the SNES Kirby games had crappy art.

Ducking would have helped out many times beforehand.
And it could be implemented in a crawl (but still able to attack) pose, but whatever.
It is unnecessary, I guess.
