My first room mate was an OK guy, but so dirty and smelly you couldn't be in the same room with him for too long.
The second dude was extremely clean and military, and seemed OK but talked on the cell phone all the time.
Third guy was good to talk to, but had the most annoying friends of all time. And they sucked at Halo. I'm horrible at the game, but I was actually beating them two on one. He also had a hookah or some ##### like that, and I didn't care to smell burning ??? all day. But he was OK with not using it in the main room, so eh.
In each case it was a dorm apartments and everyone slept in separate rooms, so it was bearable to that extent.
(I was the guy who'd go to sleep early and rarely ever talk to anyone in the room, but also rarely complain about anything).
On one hand I hope I never have to repeat the experience. On the other hand I wish I had roomed up with my buddies the second year.

I've got Flash MX, but I only ever bought that version, and don't care to learn the new Actionscript which has dramatically changed since they never keep the language definition the same from build to build.

I know it's possible to get fine detail with an airbrush, but I've never seen them used on objects that weren't flat.
There's probably some kind of paint you can use. Maybe you can find some model paint or something. Should be at any hobby shop.
... I'm not sure why I didn't think of that first. The stuff is fine tuned for this sort of thing.

When I took Spanish, I always wondered how Argentinians (and other South American Spanish speakers) would pronounce llama.
Since ll is usually a "y" in most Hispanic dialects.
Guh, I can't get tegaki to load. I also wasn't aware it was part of UNowen. ): I shall have to remember to view the llamacorn later.

I just don't understand the whole dealio with people scolding games for being "too linear."
That's EXACTLY how I like my games. I hate games with tons of paths branching out this way and that and tons of different conditions and different endings so that I have to play the game a million times before I can enjoy it in its entirety.
I love Metroid games, but I #####ing HATE the way that I play them. I force myself to go an explore EVERY single room.
And with games like Mass Effect and Fable or whatever games are entirely open-ended, they're way too intimidating for me to play.
That's cool and all, because some people really enjoy that sort of gameplay, but it doesn't mean there's ANYTHING wrong with a good old-fashioned one-screen-at-a-time linear game.
In fact, that should be the preferred choice.
Actually, I meant that most of the rooms are straight lines. And I can do with linear games, but the gameplay has to be fine tuned for that purpose; Castleroid games beg for exploration. And you obviously don't like to explore at all. Super Metroid is one of my favorite games ever because of the insane amount of freedom you have when you figure out all of the tricks. And Shadow of the Colossus? I could walk around the world map doing nothing for hours and hours because I like looking at rocks and stuff. But then some of my favorite games are linear (Grandia is a linear RPG, Super Mario Bros. 3 is mostly linear, most Mega Man levels are linear... and so on). It's just the linear Belmont-type CV games I dislike. Because there are a million pits in every level with medusa heads JUST WAITING TO FLY INTO YOU AND KNOCK YOU INTO THE PIT. And I don't care for cheap death. ... oh, but Kid Dracula is like that and that one is pretty cool.

The soft serve is good, but the burgers are not edible. Wow, Chron, you've always shown disinterest in Dragon Quest games before.
Regardless, DQIX will be awesome.
VIII I like, and some of the previous ones aren't all too bad. I've never finished any of them, but I've also never felt like I hated any of them, either. ... Mikero's probably right. It's likely the simplicity I like.

Forget where I put mine.
Maybe Mikero has it still...?
I have yours somewhere... but I can't find it (besides the one in the hood). Anyway, I just now whipped this sprite up in MSPaint. Based heavily on Dr. Light, although I drew everything myself (could have copy-pasted hands and eyes, but everything else is largely my own doing). Use the one with glasses; I drew both just because I need reference for where to place them. Oh, and it only uses 16 colors, counting transparency.

I forgot to wash him first, so if you do get one don't forget to wash him first if you plan to use paint (there are some oils from my hands as well as factory substances on it still I guess).
This is not gonna be a complicated or showy one at all, just a character I know how to do to get my familiar with the whole thing. You can colour these with anything ("even ketchup") so I don't know what I'm gonna do.
Anything, eh? I wouldn't try color pencils, myself. I can never get any depth out of those. Maybe some kind of paint. I'd go acrylic, but that can get a bit messy.

... oh right. Yeah, Cossack is like that.
I mean Beat looks terrible, but winds up being seriously cool (I mean he saves you from pits and acts as a guided charge shot and stuff).
The drunken doctor usually winds up making robots that contradict their awesomeness based on looks.

Voice actors do this sort of thing all the time, too. The guy who played Wily in the Mega Man cartoon actually started yelling in Wily's voice when the police carried him away from a bar fight.
or something
Scott McNeil is just a cool guy anyway.

Hahaha, at first I thought it was an impersonator, and then I realized it was just the lousy voice quality throwing me off.
That's pretty cool, although I can work both voices (and Wario) to some extent. He's not my favorite VA, but he has style.

If he appeared in MM9 it would seem too much like the plot of MM5, though it really wouldn't make it bad at all.

Both names sound kind of haughty if you think about it, although "Light" is more indirect and only appears that way if you associate light with good (I don't, unless I'm trying to read).
"Dr. Light" sounds like an old 70's-80's anime professor, so it kinda fits there. "Dr. Right" just sounds like some asshole advice columnist, not a robotics specialist.
I like the name Rockman better than Mega Man, but it's always been Mega Man to me.

http://www.dqix.jp/DRAGON QUEST IX YEEEEEEEEEEEAH. From that trailer it sort of looks like they're keeping the style from VIII, but going back more to the roots of the series in terms of overworld and stuff. Regardless, if it's as awesome as VIII was, I'm getting it. ... come to think of it, I still need to finish VIII. Not far from the end, but still. It's always a wonder to me why I like these games and hate FF. My main complaint about FF is the battle system being so boring, yet DQ's battle system is even less advanced (in every incarnation)... but it's also the same battle system every game, more or less. You always feel like you're playing DQ. I guess that if it isn't broken, you don't fix it. I hope they keep the whole world map as huge and explorable as the last game, myself.

Cap is a terrible super hero, but he has nice ideals. Of course, he's dead now because of that.
That's on par for most DC heroes. The terrible bit, not the dying thing, although both work I guess.
DC has Batman. And yeah. There you go. Batman. The only good DC super hero. I still haven't seen that movie. Sucks being unemployed.

Do NOT make me want this, you #####ers. Seriously. I have two Animal Crossing games that I don't play and that's enough.
Same. But even so, I enjoy them for a short while before I forget about it and allow my town to be consumed by Audrey II.

I hate the classic version of Castlevania. It's basically one pitfall induced death after another, forcing you to perfectly play your way up to every boss if you even hope to survive.
I'm not the sort of person who cares enough to torture himself with a video game, so it just doesn't appeal.
This CV looks like another "more than one person on your team, guy" thing, and I never like those. Reminds me way too much of escort missions.
