451  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: The O's Art on: 16 July 2008, 04:48:50
To be honest, I'm not very fond of that particular anime 'The O' which disgraces the whole idea of giant robots in anime, and I wouldn't like to draw it because it means many things and I'm not particularly good at people getting hot n' heavy.

What? Big O was great, it was like Batman, with Giant Robot, not to mention it was damn solid until about the last few episodes of the second season.

Not to mention it was based off a comimic that guy... Hitoshi Ariga(?) did.

You know.

The Megamn guy.
452  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 16 July 2008, 03:51:08
I can't wait to not see Spoof Movie and Meet The Coneheads.

I just finished watching Hellboy 2, less than legal ways of course.. Good stuff, When Mike told me that Liz and HB didn't actually have a relationship in the series I never would have imagined what happened in the movie would happen. But I digress, the action scenes were pretty solid, didn't help that the screen size was ass though. After watching the first movie I really wanna get into HB, and after watching this, I want to even more. Of course, buying the comics and catching up on the series is gonna be a burden, so I'll find some other way.. some how
[/img]

Trade Paperbacks, man, trade paperbacks. AKA Collections to you newbars. Just get volume 1 and go one from there. I'm actually still just started into reading volume 1 because I keep getting customers and frienemies coming into the store and talking at me.

No thanks, I'll go see The Dark Knight before you even have the option to and do it for free instead, thanks.

*weeps*

The first volume, to me, is hard to get through at times, since Byrne wrote the dialog for it.

Everything after Seed of Destruction is GOLDEN though.

During Nintendo's press conference, both me and Teisel kept asking:

"Where's Reggie? Or at least, someone important!" "Yay, it's Iwata/Reggie/Miyamoto" "Oh Jesus, not her again, bring back Reggie!" "Okay... That's kinda neat but..."

Overall: Nintendo showed us some neat things, but nothing too impressive.
454  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: PREVENTERS! -The BEST comic jam on: 16 July 2008, 03:37:46
I had an idea for a possible direction for the story, but didn't have the room to mention it.

Since the Preventers were down to three, the ADMINs weren't going to fight them, because of course ANY Super Sentai team needs five members, and anything else is unacceptable.

I would have made myself and Jake Preventers, but other than PreventerClean and PreventerDelicious, I couldn't think up good powers; so that's kind of a no go.

And the whole Rez thing is because he's an admin, and it makes for lol plot twist!!! [/Shyamalan]

I WONDER WHAT WING WILL DO?

And Mike.
Didn't see his huge post before I wrote this. But it sounds OK to me.

You're lightning and Jake is Fungus.

456  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: PREVENTERS! -The BEST comic jam on: 15 July 2008, 04:20:56
I'm putting the dialog in, it'll be done soon! I just got aback from work a little while ago, and started inking!

Then put the panels together and... Well, now I'm nearly finished putting dialog in.

I went to see Hellboy II on Friday.

I threw up about 30-40 minutes in.

It was unrelated to the movie though, but I didn't get to see it all, so that sucks.

I just got called in to work, so while it's MOSTLY finished, you won't see it until tonight at some point.

465  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Most hated Series on MMM on: 2 July 2008, 18:10:37
Battle Network was good for the first three games.

The first Zero game was okay, but after beating it, I din't feel like going out and playing the sequels when they came out.

Same goes for ZX.

Starforce is irredeemable.
466  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Luncheart: I was Doin' Fine Until You Was In My Biznezz on: 2 July 2008, 18:07:51
Season 2 finale aired a week or so back, and it was pretty awesome.

It depends on which episode you watch, I won't like. There are a lot of mediocre-bad episodes.
467  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Luncheart: I was Doin' Fine Until You Was In My Biznezz on: 2 July 2008, 09:09:14
I'll try it out before saying it sucks, but the designs suck. Even if I get used to them, they suck.

For Prime, yes, they suck.

But, I liek the designs for a lot of the other characters.
468  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Luncheart: I was Doin' Fine Until You Was In My Biznezz on: 2 July 2008, 07:44:36
The style, I admit, takes getting used to.

BUT, the show itself is pretty great, especially the Decepticons.

The only thing that I really dislike, are the human villains, as they all suck.

Megatron is #####ing awesome in it, and Starscream is actually Starscream not "Random samurai anti-hero" Starscream.

And the robot characters, for the most part, are developed pretty well, and are likable.

469  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Advent on: 2 July 2008, 07:18:12
Hsu? As in "Hsu and Chan", that comic that used to run in EGM?
I'm sure Hsu is based on Dan Shoe Hsu, but what do you mean by used to? It's still in the mag, and me likey. It's hecka funny.

I thought they stopped printing it a few years ago?

475  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Advent on: 1 July 2008, 02:50:03
Well 1up.com is useful. I've been reading their mag and a few month's issues ago the editor Dan Shoe Hsu told about how game companies have pulled their ads from the mag because of the reviews they got, but EGM kept right on giving the games the scores they deserved, either good or bad.

Hsu? As in "Hsu and Chan", that comic that used to run in EGM?

I LOVED those guys!

Posted on: 30 June 2008, 18:49:06

Whats the point of firing someone for expressing their opinion when their job is just that, expressing your opinion on that certain game. What a bunch of dumb #####s.

Because that's not his job.

His job is a to give it a good score and to hype the game, depending on how much they payed gamespot for the review.

Wait, no, it wasn't the admin, It was that mod of his that was a right-wing religious nutball that liked to get high and mighty with everyone.

Also, after about a thousand hints he's all like "You're a LESBIAN?!" and then basically told me that I should become straight, otherwise I'd burn in hell.

That was really fun.

480  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 1 July 2008, 01:58:05
The only time I've had stupid ##### like that happen to me was when I was posting as a 65 year-old Australian beastiality enthusiast on some bitchass MM forum Lunche showed me where a mod was so up his own ass that anyone who did or said ANYTHING against his beliefs (like Lunche's lesbian character) was banned. That guy deleted my posts, and those were even MORE than just posts where I was in-character and making subtle allusions to being sexually attracted to Data.

Ah yeah, I remember that... good times. Wasn't Lunche "Snake on a planeman" at one point too? Well whatever, it was worth the laughs.

This level of drama wouldn't be happening if not for that stunt.  Or at the VERY least limited to "oh nos it's 8 bit butt hurt frownine face" crap.

Eh, you know if BBD didn't do it at RPM, he would've did it at MMN or some other half-ass site anyway. *shrugs* And some dupe would've believed it, so the drama would've ensued with someone else as the person everyone points fingers at. But it's all rather pointless in the end anyway.

Because it's a game and it caused everyone to act like idiots. Oh well.

"Snakemanonaplane"

I remember that, it was from when that one kid kept stealing news from other Megaman sites. And then did it over and over again like 5 times.

I posted a picture of a random myspace girl, pretending that was me, and the admin basically called me a whore for having cleavage in the shot.
481  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Advent on: 30 June 2008, 19:50:41
Why don't you just check out professional game review sites, like gamespot.com or 1up.com?

Because game companies pay those websites to give them good reviews?

Gamespot for instance, fired someone for giving Kane and Lynch a mediocre review, as the company who made the game recently gave gamespot a LOT of money to re-vamp the website with a Kane and Lynch background and such.

Yes go back to RPM, where only pure-blooded Axl lovers, who value free expression of course, may reside.
488  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: The Official Mega Man 9 Topic on: 30 June 2008, 08:59:13
Oh please, Ares, cut the bull#####.

That's not what certain people (Yes, that means you, Nova) are saying at all.

I hate when people criticize others of attacking their #####ing first amendment rights, but then go right ahead and talk about how THAT person is wrong and shouldn't be allowed to VOICE his opinion.

And you know what, for how much you keep voicing about what a bastion RPM is for free expression and opinion, they seem to do an awful lot of banning people who don't REALLY break the rules (or actually, something that everyone else does, but for some reason when they do it, it's WRONG, and yes, I am talking about me).

It's no secret, when I was on RPM, I would really let people have it when it came to a difference of opinion. But, in the end, it wasn't a big deal, since I wasn't breaking any rules, but MAN did a lot of you guys just HATE it.

So that one German mod (No, not you WS, this one wasn't fun to talk to) banned me for ending my posts with "HONK HONK!", which I think we can all agree is harmless.

Now, keep in mind there's another member there that does something similar. He begins his posts with "*[Whomever] Teleports in*" and "*[Whomever] Teleports out*".

The hypocrisy doesn't end there.

An ex-mod there, (for whom I'm partially responsible for quitting and leaving) whom will remain nameless, had accused me of being, and this is what I remember of the very lengthy and angry post, "A racist, terrorist, wife beater", among other things.

He then later posted in a topic about racial discussion, a chart about what races he liked and what races he hated... Which was right after I convinced him not to be all angry and butthurt.

Then I was banned for making off topic topics in the off topic board, where no posts counted anyway.

And other than that, RPM is generally filled with butthurt idiots and neckbeard weeaboos whom either pretend to be girls, or pretend that having encyclopedic knowledge of MMZ is a good thing.

The site itself tends to spread unfounded rumors, roms, and annually tries to prank the rest of the community, attacks other websites' credibility, and then wonders WHY they're not a credible source.

And did I mention the members themselves are mostly moronic and butthurt (Not all of them mind you, as there are a few people there that don't take everything, such as their almost cultish devotion to Axl, so #####ing seriously) and don't know how to spell or use a shift key.

Oh and pretend 4chan is a super secret site, and spouting 6 month old memes is comedy Gold, as it's a super secret in-joke, that thousands of others are in on.

I could go on and on, but it comes down to this:

MMM doesn't ban people for a dissenting opinion, and a lot of the members here will try to whip the newbies into shape, although a bit harshly.

Most of all, I'm disappointed that you would try top pull this BS to win an argument, Ares.

Posting "Okay you totally proved me wrong, but since I'm the bigger man, I'll back off, but just so you know, you guys are wrong and nazi-esque" does not make you right.

I actually can't decide witch one (z-saber or shield boomerang) is my favorite. the saber is easy to use and u really don't need to charge it for more power. plus you get it first thing in the game!

But........... the shield boomerang is a shield and its also easy to use it, but you have to obtain it after a certain mission (I forgot witch one though)... if anyone has any facts about the z saber or the shield boomerang could you tell me so it can be easier for me to decide? please?

Can you just like... Stop posting?

Or if you can't, go over to RPM. You'd fit in there.

492  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Who created the Robot Masters? on: 30 June 2008, 05:01:02
For future reference, I've created a chart.

Shadowman and Duo, as you can see, give off about... 20 to 30 megarads at any given time, which, I think we can agree, is totally rad.

And as indicate by the chart, on average, the other bots give off about 3 to 15 negarads, which is not rad at all.

Also, me and Mike, our posts will go from 10 megarads to about 30 gigarads, depending on the post content. (actually some of mine will give of maybe at about 0 rads, to be honest, but more often than not, gigarads.

Xzeemo, as far as I can tell, you exhibit maybe 20 negarads to upwards of 8.999K negarads.

But it could be worse. You could be Iris Blossom, whose posts are, at best 50 negarads, and at worse, Infinity negarads.
