1 was almost an anti hero for most of his run, slowly developing into what the Doctor would be.
2 was younger than 1 and did a more action himself. He played the fool to disarm adversaries.
3 was more of a Bond type character with gadgets and kung-fu. A serious fellow.
4 was a bohemian adventurer who much like 2, often played the fool to suit his needs. Also best Doctor. Also your quote is from the end of The Mask of Mandagora.
5 was the youngest at the time to play the Doctor, and yes, wore a piece of celery on his lapel.
6 had a grand plan for how to develop him, but sadly was fired well before it all bore out.
7 was rather dark and scheming, another incarnation who played the fool when it served him.
8 was horribly wasted in an absolutely awful plot written by people who obviously never watched Doctor Who.

Same issue. Your "normal" weapon would be basic as #####, and the stronger versions with perks would be your "fire sword" type weapons and break making the game exactly the same except you don't have to keep picking up ##### weapons because you have a permanent one.
No, they just need to do normal weapons. If you don't want 8 or 9 different swords, just add a mechanic where you can add attributes to your (non master sword) sword and then change that when you want (or need) something different like fire, ice, lightning, etc. Or just do a small set of weapons like a sword, spear, bow, and hammer and maybe have 2 or 3 of each type.

The point is that the weapon durability system makes it so your ##### breaks after using it for a few minutes, and you spend hours #####ing hunting for another good/cool weapon that you can use for another 3 minutes before it breaks.
Hyperbolie aside, I get what they were going for, but it was just ballanced HORRIDLY between how much you can use the weapon before it breaks, how easy it was to find a new weapon of the same kind (because who the ##### defends losing a huge lightning sword and being ok with replacing it with a #####ing bokoblin club), and the distribution of weapons across the map.
The only thing you "scrounge" for or "pick up" as you go are the same ##### basic weapons that monsters drop. The best, strongest, coolest, most fun weapons are all extremely rare, hard to get to, time consuming to fetch, and all for being able to use them for all of a few minutes or battles before they shatter like glass. You spend all your time either traveling to get good weapons and hording them to never use or you play the game using #####ing sticks and clubs because that's what 80% of all enemies have/drop.
Honestly, I hope to ##### they drop this system for the next Zelda and go back to normal weapons. I really don't think I may play the next game if it's more breakable weapons again.

Except I don't want to play games on a #####ing PC. For the same reason I haven't for decades. I don't want to mess with at the #####ing setting/hardware versions/ram/video cards, etc, etc. I just want to buy a game and know I can put it in and play it.
And that's not even getting into PCs "digital only" and "always online" horse #####.
PC and console markets are for completely different targets.

The name calls sounded... odd. Like they weren't spoken right or with no effort. The music also sounded like it was playing too fast. The whole challenge mode thing looks like it was thrown together quick and cheaply to me.

An open game while linear in each area So not open at all is what you're saying. It can't be open and linear. It's either or. Just being able to choose an area to go to from a hub and then shuttled down a linear path isn't an open world game.

...ZELDA IS EXACTLY LIKE THAT THOUGH. You can ignore pretty much the ENTIRE game for as long as you want as soon as you get off the great plateau. I spent a good 5 or 6 hours just exploring and doing stuff before I even started really going to where the game said to when I got off.

Basically make it open world, but give us more content to explore within the open world.
That was what I was trying to convey.
... Breath of the Wild is as open world as you get though. God of War is the exact opposite of open world. BotW was fine on content. People who expect a #####ing level 100 weapon or super boss under ever #####ing rock on every peak don't deserve to play a game. Now, BotW could have done with more enemy types, yes. Maybe even increase the density of monsters. Apart from that the afore mentioned adding of dungeons and some small caves like the series is known for would have been best. But that doesn't take away from BotW being an amazing open world game. I honestly do not see how you think GoW is an open world game with lots of exploration and that BotW should have done what it did to make itself better.

...I'm confused, because God of War is literally just an on rails walk down the predetermined path on each stage type of game. There is no exploration at all in it. Breath of the Wild, as it stands, is one of best "just explore" games I've ever played. People who whine that you don't get a #####ing reward ever 2 seconds for walking somewhere are literally retarded. Just seeing what it what and where everything is is the essence of exploring. And in that, BotW is #####ing golden.

Awful?
Ah ha haha! But no, BotW is fine as it is, save for the MOTHER #####ING WEAPON DURIBILITY HORSE#####. It really could have used real dungeons. The shrines didn't really scratch that itch (and the "beasts" are just a few shrines stapled together, not an actual dungeon). GoW's style would NOT fit Zelda very well at all. I like my games to be games not cinematic experiences.

It was for casting originally. When the first actor to play the role was going to leave the show it was quite popular. So they invented the idea that he could "renew" himself when his body became frail or worn out. This allowed them to continue the show with the lead character of the Doctor.
In fact, as it was originally presented the second Doctor refereed to his previous self almost as if he were a completely different person. This changed a bit over the years and was clarified that he was, indeed, the same person with the same memories but each time he changed different parts of his personality and talents would rise and fall, making for interesting variations of the character.
Now it's evolved into a way to keep the show running indefinitely. Though the quality of the writing/production has and does swing wildly sometimes. I don't think there has ever been a genuinely BAD casting for the Doctor as much as he was just written badly/poorly. Of course I hedge that statement against the fact they've decided to change the Doctor's gender this time, which does not sit well with me personally.

Doctor Who is a very up and down show. It's never one thing for too long. As a life long fan, there are bits I love and bits I'm not real fond of. I strongly recommend starting with the classic series. The effects have not aged well (obviously), but the acting and talent is top notch. New Who has a lot of problems in my opinion, yet it still shines in places. If you're not a fan of melodrama and cringing wannabe romance you might not like some major facets of New Who.

DZX9 is a dad now so can't return to the dark side. Lauracon is still around... but I don't think I got his contact info after AIM went down. Sad. Edgecrusher has dissappear into the ether never to return. Though last I saw of him he was getting into some Castlevania stuff.

No. It was 5 VERY easy to know or look up Mega Man questions. If you were actually interested in Mega Man it was easy. If it was too hard to figure out, then they were probably better off eating glue at home. Posted on: 1 May 2018, 18:32:27

Komani and Capcom are both pretty much in the toilet for me, but if Capcom can fix their release format problems and dial back the DLC waaaaaay back they'd be in a decent place. Konami seems to be just really not even doing anything. That said, if they do a proper 2D Castlevania (classic or metroidvania, I don't care), it may be good.

Moffit had ups and downs, and fixed the core biggest problem with the reboot series, but he's done so much ##### that's as bad or worse it's really a wash. His good stuff is good, the rest of his stuff is kinda #####.
Tennant and Smith are excellent Doctors when written well. They just weren't most of the time.

Games I would like to see this year:
- TheRedPriest VR
I play it daily, and it's #####. Anything announced I'd like would have to have a real retail release for me to get excited as I don't buy digital and anything digital is essentially as good as not ever being released. That said, I'd like to see: New F-Zero New Castlevania New Phoenix Wright More Wii U ports of their top games to Switch (with all DLC/Extras included on cart) More on Mega Man 11 ANYTHING on Resident Evil 2 Remake ANYTHING without a ton of #####ing DLC/Season Pass/Loot Boxes built into the game to make it a "games as service" release and just a normal old fashioned #####ing complete game (this will never happen again, and if it does it will be an indie that is digital only so we're #####ed either way HOORAY!) NO new Amiibos announced, or announcement of discontinuation of Amiibo. I can't really think of anything else off the top of my head.

I don't see it being smart making their console literally obsolete. If you're a PC gamer you'd never touch a console (because snobs and pc master race horse #####), and if you're a console gamer why buy the console that has all their games on PC?
There's like a super small group of folks that have no PC or one that's so ##### it can't play games and who want to play games. And even then Switch and PS4 offer so much more. I realistically can't see any reason for XBox to even exist at this point.
