2 years is pretty good, looking at most of the others...

I love the key art, but I utterly detest mobile style gameplay with cool downs and all that other #####.  And that's all been grafted onto usual Mega Man gameplay.  Also, the 2.5D is some of the worst I've ever seen.  All that said, if they do a physical cart for this I'll pick it up because it's Mega Man, but a digital buy would be a hard "never".

I picked Tears of the Kingdom back up after 2 months to do some final grinds with the dupe glitch before I reconnect the Switch to WiFi.  I decided to fill out the depths map as well, since it's MUCH easier to use flying machines to get to the light roots, and those use parts, zoanite, and charges, all of which I can quickly dupe back to 999.  Also, I need to expand my battery to max, and that takes a LOT of zoanite.  Even with the dupe it's EXTREMELY slow to do.  I honestly don't see how Nintendo expected people to max that out normally without spending literally a year or more grinding for it.

However, once I finish those things, I'll probably go back here and there and do stuff in it.  Hopefully I've made enough supplies to be able to complete any tasks/quests I decide to do later.

Once that's done I have a few Survival Horror and Metroidvanias I want to start.

Gatcha and Live service make ANY game unplayable if you want a real game.  Those mechanics are the anthesis to actual gameplay and game balance.  That's Genshin. 

There were legitimately nuggets that felt like real Trek in Picard season 3.  Maybe 2-3% of the total run time?  That was enough for people to throw themselves into the fire singing to God himself Trek was back and this was fantastic and finally "what we wanted".  It wasn't.  It just highlighted how god damn bad Picard season 3 and Picard generally was.  But the brain dead masses drooling all over their keyboards was enough to get Kurtzman back in with a renewal.  Whatever.  Let them have that #####.  I'll stick to the original stuff that actually was Trek.

Most things are broken, I think that's part of the version of the board that Abe got back up.  Things just don't work on modern platforms.  It really needs to be completely redone in modern software I believe, which is a project of magnitude Abe isn't able to do.  This is kind of a shoestring stopgap to keep things up.  Hopefully this doesn't become completely unrunnable as I'd hate for Matrix to go away all together.

I never fully watched TNG but S3 of Picard made me question whether I really understand what the Borg actually are.

It's not you, the Borg were never like how they were presented in Picard.  It's just one of the long list of things they outright got wrong, or changed just because, or didn't bother to see what it was and just did whatever.  Like almost EVERYTHING in Kurtzman Trek and Secret Hideout has done Star Trek wise.

Genshin is a free to play mobile ##### so it never had a chance to be an actual game.  Or fun.  Design wise it looked pretty nice too, which is a shame.

I've started the new season of Futurama, and I have to say I'm loving it so far.  I think it's pretty solid, and I've had some pretty good laughs.  If it keeps this level of quality or better, this is going to be a real treat!

Also, I think 1.1.1 is still the only build that you can successfully dupe Fairies.  I have hundreds and being immortal is awesome!

It really is  nice to see folks here still.  It'd be nice to see more return from time to time.

I beat the game, and duping makes the game 1000x more playable.  I don't think I could play it without the dupe trick now.  The game is really good but the grinding is just too extreme.  The only difference in naturally farming/grinding and the dupe trick is I save 5 hours gathering materials.

I'll probably dupe a ton of stuff before I reconnect the Switch in case I do ever decide to 100% it.

I'm running Tears of the Kingdom right now.  I like it, but it reminds me of all the things I hated about BotW.  Unlike with BotW though, I've kind of got my fix of endless exploring and meandering and will probably play this one more straight through the story.  I don't see myself clocking in another 130 hours in this one.

I saw it in theatres in 1983 when my brother took me.  I fell asleep because it was something like a 9 pm show or some such thing.  I was only 5 or 6 though.  I don't think I've actually ever seen it in the theatre again since then though.

In fairness, the internet was but fiction when we were kids, kids today live in a reality where the internet is real.  No wonder they're so good at it.

I've seen more of it than season 1 or 2.  And the thing that boils my ass the most is that there is some genuine Trek corn kernals  stuffed into the Kurtzman Trek #####.  Some clips, taken out of context almost look like TNG from the 90s.  The only issue is, it's all still wrapped in the same #####ing dark, dystopian, visually incompatible, 25% different, season 1 and 2 #####storm continuity dumpster fire all of the rest of Secret Hideout Trek is.

Phasers blow bloody gorey holes in people?  Bring back minor or major characters and murder them?  Hard swearing?  Utter nonsense plot and plot points?  The entire Transporter thing made NO sense.  Borg don't #####ing work that way.  They never did.  It felt in no way like TNG or Star Trek.

So yes, if THIS had been season 1, it would have just been bad.  If this had been the first thing Kurtzman did, it would have been a mostly negative mixed bag.  But it wasn't.  It's a lot better than season 1 and 2, but that's not even a bar it's so low.  The fact it has some stuff that would work as real Trek just makes everything else (and that real to ##### ratio is still 10/90 plus everything before it that's 100/100 #####) all the more egregious.  I can see why people are falling all over themselves to say this is finally Real Trek though.  Any little taste mixed into Kurtzman's ##### is enough for them.  And it's apparently given him a contract renewal.  So now there's no chance of someone getting the proper license to do real Trek.  I'm just done with it and done with the fanbase.  They get what they deserve.  #####.

In the first game even sober it's kind of hell.

You've never played BN before now?  Wow...  I quite liked it back in the day.  I almost made a website around it.  I didn't care for Capcom trying to Pokemon it by splitting into two releases so 3 was nerfed, and I hated 4.  It was the last one I played.  5 was just awful and 6 tried to correct but just couldn't fix what was wrong.  But I love the first three.  They also changed all the overworld sprites in 4-6.  Didn't like em.

I dread having to deal with the pace breaking EMMIs.  It's not scary, it's frustrating and a good 1/3 of every area is just "stop playing the game and run from EMMI or get 1HKO'd".  Other than that, I like a lot of what it does and it's really fun.  The core gameplay is really solid but there are a few movement issues with aiming weapons and I HATE HATE HATE freeze missiles.  Just give us the freeze beam.  I hope we get a new 2D Metroid soon.

I have... ZERO faith in Capcom.  Ha ha ha ha!

I wasn't fond of it.  It was far too arranged and added in too much extra and slowed the pace of the piece down far too much.  Remix is too slow.  I suppose they were trying to make it sound "epic" but they failed.  The original went hard and fast and was epic already.

I saw that as well.  It looks like it's a full on Metroidvania with Mega Man X flavor.  I wasn't sure just how dedicated the direction for it was, but this does a very good job of showing it.  Still don't really like the Mavericks or armors though.  Otherwise, it's amazing visually, the sprite work is spot on for SNES.

So far my only desire for one would be to run PS4 games at autistic speeds.  But I'm also not fond of having to install everything these days like on a PC.  Makes it take forever to get started playing and you constantly have to shuffle managing storage.
