Having read and collected American comics for nearly a decade, I can say without a doubt, Manga is so much superior you can't even compare the two. I still keep up on some of the Marvel and DC stuff, but I have no intrest in buying or reading it at all anymore. One More Day, House of M, Civil War - all good examples of the kind of crap that exists in American comics that just turn me right off.

... are you retarded or British?
I didn't say they were not money. "They are a badge of awesome" means they are a status symbol like the OTHER examples I then listed. Yes, they're currency, but it has meaning beyond that. I can only conclude I have been trolled because no one is that stupid.
CONGRATULATIONS. Here are 5 Wily Funbux.

You know what, I was going to let it slide, but since you're being a little ##### about it to hell with ya.
Wily Funbux are issued to the person who they were meant to be given. They are not transferable. They are a badge of AWESOME. They can not be given to someone else anymore than a Nobel prize or purple heart can be given to someone other than the recipient and have any meaning/worth. When you redeem them you are not "transferring" them to someone else you are cashing them in for the purpose they were issued. And that sure as ##### isn't the same as "giving them to" someone else to use.
You know damn well what was meant so stop being a god damn Bill Clinton and splitting hairs on the metaphysical/technical use of the #####ing words. Your balance of Wily Funbux is now 0. ZERO. You are also banned from attending the H parties at Ryships and are off the official Skull Castle mailing list. Your membership in the Guild of Distinguished Gentlemen of Porn (GODGOP) is revoked. You are now dead to me. DEAD. May the cold COLD wind of isolation freeze your soul and numb your body.
THE END.

Alright, I've always read your wall of textes in the past but if you're not going to take the time to read mine, then I'm not going to take the time to read yours.
The internet is bad for sarcasm. I read it, but that's all I felt compelled to respond with. Just as well, since Mikero and White Shadow pretty much said what I thought anyway.

See now, you're thinking about turn based RPGs. Final Fantasy 4-9 are RPGs and not ATBRPGs. Using the term "RPG" now-a-days generally mean games that have battles, leveling up and multiple characters.
What White Shadow said. RPG has been watered down so much it's used to describe a game that isn't an RPG at all. RPGs have in general ALL of the following: 1) An epic plot the player guides a party of many people through which he controles in turn based or (in rare cases that actually WORK since you have multiple characters) real time battles. 2) Your party gets experiece points and money from battle. By leveling up a wide number of stats change and you learn new powers. 3) You can buy weapons, armor, accessories, magic for your party and equip them. 4) Level will, for the most part, dictate when you can fight bosses/progress in the game and will require some amount of grinding to level your party up enought to not die. Adventure games these days will, for the most part, have some form of RPG element in them to add "depth". This does NOT make the game an RPG. And the fact people are retarded enough to call it an RPG when it's NOT along with Online "RPGs" are what is slowly but surely killing the genre. And while Lost in Blue isn't an RPG, Pokemon is. If you want to get more specific, though it's a One-On-One RPG.
Pokemon is not, nor was it EVER an RPG. It's a monster collecting game. Other than leveling up your monsters, it has nothing in common with what makes an RPG. If I were to ask for an RPG for Christmas and received a Pokemon game, I would have to shank that person in the face with a knife I'd make from the plastic game case it came in.

No, no, and no. The faults didn't make the game difficult in the least. Here, let me resolve these faults.
WALL OF TEXT
tldr; MM's is not generally high on most players lists because it's an awful game, especially compared to the win incarnate of the other games in the series. It's nice that you like it, but learn to see a game is bad. I mean, I like Bad Dudes, and it's an AWFUL game. You don't see me trying to present it as a great game just because I like it.

I don't think that's what Capcom means when they used the term "reboot." I think they're going to reboot MegaMan by giving him a new series that has nothing to do with any other MegaMan game ever made, not reboot by remaking older games and changing the story lines completely.
Same difference. Looking at WHAT changes were made to MHX is a good barameter to the direction they'd take. And I took it to mean a reboot of MEGAMAN, not a new unrelated series. And lets face it, the fact Inti Creates #####ed Mega Man up so bad that it NEEDS a reboot is just sad.

Face it, Rez. There are people who have different opinions than you. And repeating an opinion doesn't make it a fact.
However, I do agree that ZX isn't that good.
:: GAPS :: No, you don't say? Except for the fact the gameplay in ZX IS poorly implemented compared to Classic or X.

All bad news if you ask me.
Reboot? That's what MHX was. And it butchered MMX. Why would I think another reboot wouldn't reek as much?
Revealing what happened between Classic and X? Gonna suck. Hard. VERY hard. Know how bad the MMZ Complete Works book "filled in" between MMX and MMZ? Or the "facts" about the X series it "clarified"? OH BOY CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS. And with above said "reboot" woudn't it be completely irrelivant?
More remakes? MMPU would be FUN, but let's be honest. MMPU played very loose compared to the original games. Just look at how utterly AWFUL the "classic" MM1 mode for MMPU was. MHX? No thanks. X5-X8 ##### on the X series enough. Why would I want to trade everything that made X1-X4 pure win to update the graphics and get crappy remixes?
Real or not, I see nothing good in any of it. Mega Man is dead. I am very sad. I take that back, no ZX3 is good news. Let's pray it comes to pass. Or not pass as it would be.

ZX IMO is almost on par with Classic and X.
It's #####loads better than the pile of fail that is Battle Network, Zero, and STar Force.
*Is mauled by Nibbles*
How many times are you going to be mauled before you learn your lesson? How you can compare the awful gameplay of ZX to the polished perfection that is Classic or X (before it was nerfed) defies rational though.

OBJECTION![/b]
Majora's Mask was a good game, it just wasn't received well because it couldn't stand up to OoT. If Majora's Mask had been developed and released before OoT I'm sure everyone would have a different opinion of the game.
No, they wouldn't. Mega Man 3 was a great game, and it came AFTER Mega Man 2, the best game in the series. It wasn't well received because it was crap.

I'm not FANTASTIC at Contra, and while Contra 4 IS solid Contra goodness, the two screens are just a bit much. I just can't watch both screens at once to watch for bullets. And from what I have played they seem to design it so that the screen you're on keeps your attention busy while the one you're not/can't watch guns you down. The fact you can't access any of the really good stuff w/o beating HARD is ridiclous.
It just means I'll never get to play the ports of the older games. But seeing as how they didn't bother to add 2 player to them, it kind of defeats the purpose.

You mean SMB2 in Japan? Or... Doki Doki Panic?...
When I say Super Mario Bros 2 I mean Super Mario Bros 2. Did I say "The Lost Levels"? Did I say "Doki Doki Panic?" No. The US version of SMB2 IS SMB2 everywhere, even Japan seeing as how Shy Guys and Birdo are now part of SMB canon. Doki Doki Panic is Doki Doki Panic. Further stupid questions shall be answered with a swift strike of the Tomatoe stick.

Link's Awakening Link to the Past Oracle Games
Not played much of TP, but I just didn't care for it. But it is the best of the 3D Zeldas by far. OoT is best described by my friend who said "I beat it, tried to play it again, and just lost all intrest". He's played the first Zelda and LttP far too many times to be considered healthy. MM was garbage.

I'd have to say
1) Super Mario World 2) Super Mario 64 3) Super Mario 3 4) Super Mario 2 5) New Super Mario
Not got to play Galaxy much at all, so I can't rank it just yet. I'm guessint it would be on the top 5 though, probably knocking off NSM.

Which is funny since everyone is pretty much in agreement that Prime 3 is an out and out FPS. I guess once they abandoned any pretence of trying to present it as "Metroid in 3D" and went to "Metroid FPS" it worked.

You can't honestly say that it's missing the platforming aspect.
Pretty sure I did, yep. There were actually a hand full of times where the platforming (see climbing up any of those tall corridors) became tedious.
Because the tacked on "platform" elements don't belong in a FPS because they just don't work in the genre/perspective. And yes, Prime is a FPS through and through. I will give you that, with the exception of the grapple beam, high jump boots, gravity suit, spider ball, and screw attack, none of the new power ups really expand your platforming abilities.
But wait... that's always been the case.
Most of the powerups let you get to new places = platforming.
