I got 1 by accident, and if I WANTED to I could have easily gotten 2 others, but I was just too lazy to not get hit. The rest, hard to say. I can only think of 1 that would really be a pain to get (the fish in the dirt). As you don't GET anything for them, I can't say I like the game enough to go for them all.

All the DS Castlevania's have been ace all around, so I have high hopes for this. HIGH.
...aaaaand my hopes have crumbled. Game is ok. By and far it's no where near as good as the last 2 DS Castlevanias though. I think they had a lot of good ideas, but NONE of them were really implemented well, and that's what's really killed it for me. The Variety of weapons is AWFUL. Nothing does much damage. Ever. Magic, while MUCH cooler than the weapons, still suffers from lack of variety and damage just like weapons. Equipment selection is about the WORST I've ever seen. Very little variety and usefullness. Accessories might as well not even be in the game for what they give you. The Glyph system had potential to be as good or better than Dawn's soul system, but they completely missed every opportunity to do it. Most enemies don't give a glyph (weapon/spell/ability) and I've found farming the ones that DO to be more laborsome than in Dawn. Money is IMPOSSIBLE to get in this game w/o using 2 gold rings (of which acquiring is in of itself hair pulling out TEDIUS AS ##### to try to farm) and glyph combo to quick farm in Tymeo Mountains. The quests are the most vague in the DS series so far, which wouldn't be as bad if half of them weren't required to get the shop to sell ALL YOUR EQUIPMENT. Good idea in theory, bad in practice. Now I know that sounds like a LOT of negatives, and it is. But the game still shines for the most part. The level design is good. The variety is great. I love the overworld map. It really has a "Simon's Quest" vibe to it. Despite all the maps, Castlevania itself is still pretty big. Combat, for what you have, isn't bad either. Shanoa is a good character. The art style is great. I think they FINALLY found a good middle ground between SotN and Dawn of Sorrow. The music is really good. It doesn't have any real stand outs like Dawn and Portrait, but nothing really sucks. Overall the music is high level, and the Castlevania 1 remixes from the records are AWESOME. The bosses are by far the most difficult of the DS games, but not rage inducing like I've read. Level up a bit and stock potions and you'll do fine after you get the patterns down. The challenge is good. So, all in all, a good game with LOTS of small problems. But when the last two games were absolutely AMAZING in every way, that doesn't cut it. I'm having fun with it, but I doubt I'll be replaying it more than once whereas I raped Portrait in every mode it had and replayed Dawn 3 or 4 times.

Why would I play something stupid to stupify myself? That doesn't compute.
Because I wanted to give the series another chance, but it failed. Now all I have to look foward to is Megaman ZX 3.
... wow. Calling Star Force crap then having the GALL to say ZX is any better. I better leave before the site is crushed under your GIGANTIC #####ING BALLS.

Or just reaquire them. I'm sure you can get them from friends or CDs. Hell, if I HAD anything you have that is DRM'd I'd send it to you out of spite. Besides, you've paid for the #####ing song. You have EVERY right to play it on whatever platform you want, dispite what RIAA lawyers want to legistlate.

Hmmm... I hope I have enough punishment in my bag of pain for this... ZX games are good, but not Zero.
ZX games are worse than Zero, if thats even possible. Before your mauling I shall allow you to defend your statement. Make it good, as you have only 10 seconds. Command Mission was a bad megaman game and a bad RPG.
No such luxury for you. You get a tomatoe stick up the ass and a kick into the Mauling tent for a fabulous 6 night 7 day vacation in scenic pain town, where your right to have an opinion will be officially revoked. Command Mission was an ok RPG and a GOOD X game. It had it's share of flaws, as most decent RPGs do, but it was FAR from bad and felt like the first real X game since X4.

Another problem I have is that there is a large percentage of my music library that is DRM-protected because I bought them from iTunes back when my parents were giving my iTunes cards and allowances.
So, like, 25% of my music library would be forfeited if I switched. That actually REALLY pisses me off and has done so for a long, long time.
That. Also that is why I have never nor will I ever buy digital music. It's gotten a bit better with the removal of DRM, but you still can't get full 320 kbps or variable bitrate music. It's all still rather low quality. Buy the CD. Rip it. Tag it. It's not that hard. If a CD does not exist, you have to take what you can get, but most digital only stuff can be found in pretty good bitrate. To address your question though, you would just use the sync option in Winamp and it should work just like itunes/ipod do. I don't HAVE an ipod so I've not been able to do it myself, but all indications point to Winamp having gottent iPod syncing to work just fine. As for your DRM problem, there should be converters out there to remove the DRM, but past that I can't help you as I never bought any of that ##### and have never needed to convert said files. But yeah, the DRM ##### is nothing but a tool to allow Apple to keep thier monopoly on digital music. Would YOU switch servieces or players if all your music wouldn't work on the new player/platform? Apple didn't think so either. ##### Apple.

I very much prefer Winamp to iTunes in every way, but I use iTunes because I have an iPod and that's the only reason why.
And I DO like iPods.
Winamp synches with an ipod just fine anymore. Get rid of iTunes.

Advent is a decent game. What really bothers me though is that Model A carries the guns in his/her hands instead of it being attached to the arm like the other series. Having a gun for an arm is what makes MegaMan so awesome and it just does not seem right that now that he is carrying it around in his hands. Nonetheless this is worth playing.

iTunes is one of the #####tiest music players ever made. Winamp beats it by a mile in every possible way. Ease of use, options, display, skins, orginization, etc etc...
iTunes isn't a music player, it's a portal to a music store, and it shows compared to actual music players.

What's the point of this poll? Anyone who does not select X7 doesn't deserve to be allowed in a Mega Man Community.
And by that same token, how do you pick one turd out of 4-5 turds as the worst? X5-X8 were bad games. MHX changed too much from MMX, but by god X1 was so good I can't outright right off MHX, so it's a toss up.

MoTB is before 2 at least (I THINK it occurs before MML1 in terms of time line... although it was made after MML1 of course).
We have so many topics about this. My reply never changes: Get Hippopatamus Mega Man off of the moon and we can call it quits.
... also needs a charge buster part.
Yes, MoTB takes place prior to the Bonns going to Kattleox Island.

I wouldn't go THAT far. I liked 4 AND 7 a lot more than 9. But I definately like 9.
And I HATE MM2's password screen/weapon get music. The rest of the game's music is classic, but those two are among the series worst.

Blocking "X" would have banned anyone from using the letter X in their name.
That sucks. Well, at least when we ban it, the name will be taken off the list.

7 is second? The SNES music is horrible.
It sounds all muffled and all of the samples are awful. Unless you mean the Wily saucer bit, which is OK, but the guitar is pure #####.
Still better than the one in 8, though.

The only reason those are going for (or more precisely being offered at) such a high price is the fact they're factory sealed. X3 may be rare, but you won't get a grand out of either a loose cartridge or a complete boxed copy. And that goes for any of the games, rare or not. And even knowing factory sealed copies are quite rare, and given the fact this set has ALL the 8 and 16 bit games (no one counts Mega Man Soccer) the price is STILL ridiculous.
... I still wouldn't mind having it though. Even though I own all of them BUT X3...

I actually haven't spoken to Delta in awhile. A few years ago I stopped using chat programs almost completely. My posts here are about as social as I get with people I don't know personally.
Also, I still prefer not to give my real name. Even after all this time, I think there's less than three people here who would know it.

Don't get the chicken finger basket thing more than once a month. My friend used to have it a lot and he noticed a dramatic increase in acne, he then promptly quit having that meal and it cleared up.
Anyway, I've heard tell that Breath Of Fire games got worse after they tried to make the system newer or something? I think it was BoF... I've not played that either so again I'm unsure. But it's probably that kind of thing with you and Dagron Quest.
Never got into BoF1, I love 2, 3 is great and 4 isn't too bad either. 5 is the X7 of BoF, and successfully killed the franchise.

OH NO, IT HAS DIFFERENT MUSIC AND CUTSCENES. WHATEVER WILL HE DO?
Play a #####ty port? actually, I think X3 was about the ONLY port that wasn't outright gimped, #####ed up or otherwise messed up, but I've not played the PS1/Sat port of X3 so I can't say how well it was ported to MMXC. Though based on the other games on it, it seems odd it's not #####ed up somehow. Also I only played 2 stages and never put it in again because the SNES version is superior.
