2201  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Starforce 3 is coming... on: 20 August 2009, 14:58:05
ZX was entertaining enough for me to replay at least 4-5 times.

Can I have some of your pot?
2202  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Megaman zx hatred on: 20 August 2009, 14:56:29
i just think that zx and zxa should get a little more respect.  >:(

And I think you should go to hell. :D

As Abe said, there is a LOT of crap to go through.  Part of this is just overly complex (and awful) level design and part of it is so that you have to change forms ever 2 seconds to do anything/get anywhere.

And about that morphing.  ABSOLUTELY.  TERRIBLE.  GAMEPLAY.  IDEA.  Both ZX games break up your move set into the various forms.  The fact you have to constantly change through them is a pain in the ass.  The fact they added MORE in ZXA shows the designers (if you want to call them that) had their head stuck quite a ways up their asses.

I won't even go into the awful art style or abortion they're tyring to pull off as plot.  You thought they #####ed up  X and Zero in MMZ, well, they found a way to FURTHER ass rape these heros in ZX.

So in short, I say go #### yourself, or play a REAL Mega Man game.  There are actually quite a few of them out there.

To the the rest of you who like this, you need to report to the mauling tent for "reeducation".  It ends with a full hot oil body massage from Alia.  Don't worry, she's got a gag.
2203  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: PS3 Slim and Price cut. on: 19 August 2009, 14:47:13
It LOOKS a lot better than the phat, costs less and there are a small hand full of games I'd probably play on it if I actually had one.  Of course, without an HDTV, it's still a moot point.   I have a 32 incher and I'm not dropping $1500 for a smaller TV just for HD.
2204  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Starforce 3 is coming... on: 19 August 2009, 14:44:28
It's better than ZX, but compared to anything else, it's probably best if you kept it sealed.

... actually Advent is considerably WORSE than ZX.  It added even MORE useless morphing bull##### to further slow down gameplay.  And Axl.  And Ashe looks like a dog comapred to Aile.  TO THE MAULING TENT WITH YOU!
2205  MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / Re: Get ready to rage... on: 14 August 2009, 14:03:42
I shed my anger long ago and it took corporial form.  Haven't heard from it since.
2206  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Golden Sun DS on: 9 August 2009, 22:42:34

For those who don't know, Golden Sun is the best game ever.

Stopped reading right there.  It wasn't even the best RPG ever son.  It failed to draw me in or keep me playing AT ALL.

Now, let's make this thread into the REAL best game ever made: Mega Man 2.  Discuss.
2207  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Leaked Capcom revelation on: 9 August 2009, 22:40:12
It's nowhere near as good as 1 though.

It was a HORRIBLE game...
2208  MegaMan Series / Battle Network Series / Re: Get ready to rage... on: 9 August 2009, 22:38:59
Even though it's a remake of the first

... this isn't even close to a REMAKE.  It's "let's replay BN1 by shoving Star Force ##### into it as we do".  This effort, and I use the term VERY loosely, looks to be one of the most lazy ventures Capcom has ever done.  I really liked BN1, so I'll replay that if I want to actually play the game again.  This, whatever the ##### it's suppose to be, game looks like it just took a copy of BN1 and rubbed ##### all over it and called it a new game/sequal/remake.  Oh Capcom, when will you stop trolling us....

2210  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Leaked Capcom revelation on: 7 August 2009, 14:41:18
ACE ATTORNEY 5?! About damn time.

But honestly, I can't think of any Capcom property that would really qualify.  Even if it was Legends (it's not) the series is so low key with such a small following it'd never fall into that category.
2211  MegaMan Series / StarForce Series / Re: Starforce 3 is coming... on: 3 August 2009, 14:27:47
There was a time only Xero had such a post count!
2212  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Wily Stage difficulty? (Protoman and Dr.s Crossack and X included) on: 3 August 2009, 14:27:07
Handheld classic games were not included, no, and generally because they ARE awful.
2213  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 2 August 2009, 20:00:51
Gotta make things easy for the HALO kiddies.
2214  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: The Mega Man Collection Topic on: 2 August 2009, 19:58:08
... do the COLORS of the buttons really make ANY difference when the point was their PLACEMENT?  I just googled for the first SNES Controler image I found.  I'm aware the US had purple buttons.  WAY TO KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE GUYS.
2215  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Wily Stage difficulty? (Protoman and Dr.s Crossack and X included) on: 2 August 2009, 19:51:58
8's far from bad (or even BN4-6 bad), but it's also last on my list in quality for normal Classic games (MM&B is the WORST "classic" game in my opinion, but it doesn't really fit into the normal mode so I don't count it with the properly numbered games).
2216  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: MMM's worth on: 31 July 2009, 14:47:35
orchNEStra.  If you're talking about the OTHER one, it's still online and running quite well now that Chron has implemented an automatic upate system for it.
2217  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 31 July 2009, 14:46:45
It has a rather unforgiving difficulty curve towards the end.  I honestly thought World 4 was harder than World 5 myself.  Though the clock tower stage in World 5 could give any Castlevania clock tower stage a run for it's money.
2218  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: if a capcom charecter was in brawl...(anyone can post stuff here) on: 31 July 2009, 14:44:28
You forgot the superior man in blue in your poll.  Your awful, AWFUL poll.  But it's ok.  I made it a little less awful!

2219  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: The Mega Man Collection Topic on: 31 July 2009, 14:43:21
Who the hell has trouble remembering the layout of the buttons?  That has nothing to do with the fact the GC's controler has AWFUL button layout and was the main reason the games were unplayable.

You don't have to have had a #####ing SNES to understand my point as EVERY #####ing controler worth a damn made since it more or less copies it's button layout.  Ever heard of a "Playstation"?  Perhaps an "Xbox"?  These are consoles you may have seen friends play.  Guess what?  Their button placement is THE SAME.  And that's all you need to compare to the GC's layout.  I've even attatched a nice diagram below to illustrate how the optimal diamond layout for buttons looks vs the abortion that is the GC's akward as hell button layout.

And MMXC had several errors besides the intentional removing of X6's dialog.  The most glaring I recall is the title screen of X2, where there's a shrill sound effect that won't stop playing from the intro sequence.  I was also very unhappy they didn't include the SNES version of X3, as the PS1/Saturn port had ##### for music.  So no, MMXC isn't NEARLY as bad as MMAC, but it's still poorly done.

2226  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: The Mega Man Collection Topic on: 30 July 2009, 17:44:44
And yes, button assignment (and the general button layout on the GC controler) DOES make it damn near UNPLAYABLE on the Gamecube.
Not if you're used to A being below and to the left of B from the 360 controller. The only problem I have with the controls is the layout if you have even the slightest intention of the Y is Mega buster thing in MM8.

... are you retarded or just pretending to be?  The Xbox and 360's buttons are laid out EXACTLY like the SNES and Playstation controler.  They're COMPLETELY DISSIMILAR to the Gamecube's horrible placement, and thus your statement sounds amazingly similiar to a chimp screeching.

1 had the hardest fortress stages hands down.  You've alreday cleared the hardest.  4-7 were all about on par as far as I'm concerned, though 7's are the easiest of that bunch.

2230  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: The Mega Man Collection Topic on: 29 July 2009, 18:59:43
When hodge podge programs written by random people for the computer play games better than a professional port, something is VERY wrong with the port.

This is the case with MMAC and MMXC.  And yes, button assignment (and the general button layout on the GC controler) DOES make it damn near UNPLAYABLE on the Gamecube.
2231  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: anyone know... on: 29 July 2009, 18:56:02
DAMN STRAIGHT!
2232  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Weekly MChat Revival! on: 29 July 2009, 18:55:40
We're never going to get a set time for this.  You have 4 time zones in the US, and the 5-6 hour time jump to Europe would make the window run from between 3 pm - 1 am.  It would either be too early in the US or too late in the Europe.  Best case we'd be looking at maybe a 6pm/11pm chat here and there.

That said I'm usually available 6-11 daily.  PM that is.
2233  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: The chat isn't working for me on: 28 July 2009, 14:54:13

2234  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Who was your least favorite voice over in MM8? on: 28 July 2009, 14:51:45
The worst thing about a MM forum at this point in time is everything's been said.

Well, we still have the new Star Force games to talk about an... OH GOD I CAN'T DO IT WHY DO YOU LET MEGAMAN DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH CAPCOM WHY?!?!

But yeah.  Without new GOOD games comming out there is absolutely nothing to really talk about at this point.

MMXC...  It's good enough

No, it's not.  The people who made it and the people who approved that abortion for release should all be fired.  You however, should just be fired out of a canon.

2238  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 23 July 2009, 03:34:05
You can switch between the top screen (action) to the bottom screen (puzzle) with the X button.  Time freezes in the Action screen while you work puzzles. While in the Action screen the puzzle screen slowly moves up.  If enemy blocks reach the top, they come back into the action screen and attack you.

Picked up Henry Hatsworth.  This is GOTY material.  My god it's simply brilliant.  Some of the best voice acting on the DS EVER.  Puzzle element is great, platforming/adventure element is well designed and plays fantastic with a steady (but unforgiving) difficulty curve.

TEA TIME!
