Are those nipples or irises?
1702  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: What game are you playing? on: 4 January 2013, 14:16:26
I want to try the Metroid attraction, but I don't have f'ing Wii Motion+ controllers.  Otherwise I think Nintendo Land is mad fun.  Minor gripes like more maps for Luigi's Mansion and some tweeking to Mario Chase, but the rest are pretty cool.
1703  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: WW's thread of poorly drawn boobs on: 4 January 2013, 14:14:48
This is a thread of boobs, not pixels.  To the mauling tent with you!

From the era of Sprite Comic gold.

Even I got more questions than that...
1709  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: What did you get for HOLIDAY? on: 27 December 2012, 04:33:39
Scribblenauts Unlimted for 3DS and a boxed NES Zelda 1 with super manuel/strat guide.

I was also gifted a Genesis and Sega CD and 18 Genesis games and 7 Sega CD games with two Dreamcast games.

Not a bad haul.
1710  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: New Humble Bundle on: 27 December 2012, 04:31:42
I remember when I could buy games on physical media and enjoy them on my own system, take them over to a friends to play, sell them or buy them later if I missed them on release or just couldn't afford everything at once.
1711  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Mega Man's 25th Anniversary Year Postravaganza!!! on: 27 December 2012, 04:30:26
A for effort, but no.  I did not care for it.  And the X8 models look like utter #####.  God I'd almost forgot how bad they look.

The only part that made me smile was the 8bit Wily sprite "Reboot" part.
1712  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Capcom survey on: 27 December 2012, 04:28:39
They should just make the survey DLC!  Then people would buy it!
1713  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: MMM CCG on: 27 December 2012, 04:27:55
I made one for you but you said it was bad and I should feel bad.

Things change, yes.  But most of us are still quite awesome.
1719  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: The MOVIE Thread on: 19 December 2012, 19:32:56
I wasn't aware it was that unliked.  I thought it was ok for what it was.  I thought most of the casting was decent even if the sets were largely awful.

The European version turns the characters into robots and adds lots of "u"s to all the words.
1723  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: HAPPY 25 YEARS MEGA MAN!!! on: 18 December 2012, 00:33:07
MM2 and X1, yes those would be the poster children for Mega Man, and should be.
1724  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / HAPPY 25 YEARS MEGA MAN!!! on: 17 December 2012, 14:41:46
It's hard to believe 25 years have passed since I picked up Mega Man for the NES.  To this day Mega Man remains my favorite video game character and franchise, dispite how awful some things have gone with it (MMZ, MMZX, SF, the slow painful death of MMX after 4 and BN after 3) but even with all of that, it still holds a place in my ever shrinking heart.  And even though Capcom has forsaken it in for several reasons, and past may not be precurser to future, I can say the good times far outweigh the bad.

My favorite Mega Man moments are from Mega Man 1 and ironically Mega Man X5.  I remember reading through a (in retrospect at least) horrible game guide for NES games and seeing the pages for Mega Man 1.  It made the game look freaking awesome!  I looked for the game for a while and finally go it.  Everything about it was great.  The first time I cleared all 6 robot masters and got to Wily's fortress was a huge rush.  I also happened to be at a friends house playing it, and did not want to quit.  They got a little irritated at me about that...

The second moment involved making it to the first fortress stage in X5, past the Quick Man like lazers.  As soon as the boss door closed and THAT music started, I knew what the boss was.  And then the big black blobs started speeding in from behind me and it was simply glorious!  It was very sad though, that it was the ONLY glorious thing about X post X4.  But still, it was a huge moment for me.

I hope the rest of you have a great 25th day!  And who knows, maybe there will be a real surprise for fans...

But for me, for the rest of the day I plan to GET EQUIPPED WITH NOSTALGIA!
1725  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Megaman x Street Fighter FREE on PC on: 17 December 2012, 14:31:06
I'll try when I get home tonight.
1726  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Fat man got a hobby. on: 17 December 2012, 14:30:18
I haven't got that far in CV4 for so long I don't remember either.  I guess I should go check.
1727  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Mega Man's 25th Anniversary Year Postravaganza!!! on: 17 December 2012, 14:29:15
Do or do not, there is no try.
1728  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Megaman x Street Fighter FREE on PC on: 16 December 2012, 04:00:37
Hmmm... well, Mega Man's been a bit all over in the music department but if I had to pick a few I'd say maybe DuckTales 1 and 2, Blaster Master, Strider (Red Dragon could be a good Wily level), Star Tropics 2... uh all of those have one or two Mega Manish tracks...
1729  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Fat man got a hobby. on: 16 December 2012, 03:24:43
But not FROM Castlevania 4?
1730  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Mega Man's 25th Anniversary Year Postravaganza!!! on: 16 December 2012, 03:24:08
Smart phones are no reason to jump into social media though... I don't see how people use the internet on them.  I've had a smart phone for 4 days and it's awful (using the internet on it).
1731  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Megaman x Street Fighter FREE on PC on: 15 December 2012, 00:23:08
16:9 would actually be pretty cool...  and I think a 2 player co-op could be done well if planned out like in Contra.  Not typical Mega Man fare, but it's not a true sequel so why not?  Hell, with all the horrible fan games out there if I had the skill I'd make one too.
1732  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Fat man got a hobby. on: 15 December 2012, 00:20:06
Is that a Castlevania sprite in your avatar?
1733  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: MMM CCG on: 15 December 2012, 00:19:20

I still MUCH prefer this to any other "social media" really.  This is just more cozy and fun.  Like a good RP or something not smeared in #####.
1736  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: WW's thread of poorly drawn boobs on: 13 December 2012, 22:40:15

1738  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Mega Man's 25th Anniversary Year Postravaganza!!! on: 12 December 2012, 02:46:20
You know, there are still 17 or so years out of the 25 that were "rock" solid.  This will probably be the last hurrah, but we should all post at least ONCE A DAY on the forums for the next year to celebrate the glorious past and nonexistent future!

Is anyone (everyone) up to the challange/party?

I'll assume yes.

LET'S DOOOOOO IT!
1739  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / MMM CCG on: 12 December 2012, 02:23:19
I got a request to put these back up, so here it is.

Some of you may remember back in the day, when CCGs were all the rage, and sprite comics were as cheap and plentiful as mortgage loans, there was a simple Mega Man Matrix CCG that popped up on the forums.  Well, being the perfectionist I was (am), I decided to do one myself.  Lo and behold this stuff is over 6 years old now...

Here is all that remains of it, though I think it's technically fully playable...

Anyway, NOSTALGIA TIME!

AAAAAND that's a wrap.  It's an interesting look back, that's for sure.  Incomplete as it is.

Oh, some rules too, or at least what I did up in sprite form.  I probably still have the full version somewhere... in a physical folder... somewhere.

A FAN GAME for Mega Man's 25th that has Street Fighter with TOP BILLING.  And they pitch, with a straight face, how they really REALLY care and this proves it!  Capcom has made doing something with no effort in a way that tries so hard to look like they really did work hard into an art form.

That said I was slightly interested in the game before Capcom co-opted it, so I'll still give it a try.
1741  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: word count on: 10 December 2012, 15:05:08
I'm really amazed there are any bots still lurking forum boards.  Facebook has all but killed them.  How very very sad.
1742  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Print to canvas, Photo to canvas, Custom canvas, Canvas a photo. on: 22 October 2012, 15:26:25
... this is sad that this is the most amusing thing that's happened around here in months.  But it IS amusing.
1743  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Didn't there used to be a "MMM NOSTSALGIA" thead? on: 24 September 2012, 19:38:57
Whatever it was, it was fun. After all, it was the years of Matrix and the net was still a lawless void where you could be whatever you wanted. Residual self-image and #####.

Yeah, it was definitely fun.  A lot of it was abundantly idiotic, but laughs were had.  At the expense of others, usually.

It's ok, we didn't like them anyway.
1744  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: Rockman Online? More like Rockman Offline! on: 24 September 2012, 19:37:24
It has Iris in it.  I'll import it if it's not localized just for that.  Even if I can't play it.  It will sit next to Ace Attorney Investigations 2 and I shall stare and frown at them for hours before weeping.
1745  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Rockman Online? More like Rockman Offline! on: 10 September 2012, 20:18:21
Evidently.  News coming out seems to confirm Rockman Online is canceled.  Not that I think ANYONE would say they're surprised by that at this point.  And while I can't say I thought the game itself was any good, by god it had the best looking material and promotional work for it of the 3 canceled games.  And as a crossover game it was literally infinitely better than that piece of iOS stink it looks like will actually see a release over any of the other 3 games.

News comes out of MMN.  Though it won't be long till they're just the Network...
1746  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Didn't there used to be a "MMM NOSTSALGIA" thead? on: 10 September 2012, 20:07:25
The ONLY place I'm not me is facebook, and I hate that ##### hole to death.  Why the hell would I want to be me online when I can be someone cool and awesome?  Avatars are the only real way to use the internet.
1747  MegaMan Series / Miscellaneous MegaMan Games / Re: hey guys you like the megaman right? on: 10 September 2012, 20:04:52
I've never been so down in the dumps in a fandom like I am in Mega Man.  Really sad given the grandeur that Mega Man once held.  It was never a little niche series or fan base.  It was easily Mario and Sonic tier.  On the eve of the 25th anniversary it's a sad, sad place to be with only a horridly crapped out iOS autism simulator to show.

If not for the out of nowhere Ace Attorney turn about (see what I did there) every Capcom franchise/series I actually care about would be dead.  And while Ace Attorney never even got CLOSE to the depths of hell Mega Man is in, I really didn't want to go through that kind of ##### again...
1748  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: Didn't there used to be a "MMM NOSTSALGIA" thead? on: 23 August 2012, 17:09:58
I believe it was.
1749  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: Remember Dreamwave's Mega Man Comics? on: 12 July 2012, 15:55:08
So, they're up to Mega Man 3 or so in the games and they're introducing Bass in this Cross Over?  And it's suppose to be canon in both series?  Archie dun goofed!

But seriously, this looks like complete ass.  And 12 issues?  F that.  Looks like one big block of 4 issues I can skip on MM.  Shame too, as the Archie MM was actually getting somewhat good in it's own right all in all.
1750  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Slowpoking here but... on: 12 July 2012, 15:52:23
A month after the successor to the Wii U is out.  They're releasing the back catalog of games at a glacial pace.  The entire NES and SNES library should be available to buy at this point.
