I ment tribal, I was in a rush. an di'm not sure what kind, most likely ps2 or xbox since I have no way to test the others, sept maybe 360.

and JC, I'm thinking of just directly modding the original hardware, it'd be much easier than a face plate.
2  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 6 January 2008, 05:29:35
wow, out of a complete waste of money and time, I feel like buting a GH guitar and modding it out with some lighting and a nice tribal. and not even the game, maybe I'll sell it. but it has alot os surface space. hey anyone interested in a custome GH guitar?
3  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Console Wars on: 2 January 2008, 11:01:24
for me, it's not the games even with some games being for one console and not another, I still don't care. to me, it's all in the the controller. the wii mote is retarded, and that's a gentle opinion from me, I just don't like it. no matter the generation, the playstation controller is the most annoying uncomfortable thing I've ever held, I just hate it. now the 360, they got it all right. everything is easy to access, and it feels like you're holding something, not just air, it fits in my hand like a good knife handle should, and that my friends, is a good fit.

I believe someone was talking about microsoft and alto of buttons? yeah, you're not good at counting are you. 360: 8 buttons, 2 thumbsticks(with buttons underneath), back and start, doped, center button thing. PS3: same deal. and it's been that way from the start. but Nintendo, they're just dumb, the N64 controller was Shiite, duh to the fact that the whole 3 handles thing was crap, the GC controller, well, it was good, I have to admit, it was alright, but still, the nature of the buttons, seemed to, idk, they were meant to look good, not feel good.

but even though I love the 360, Wii is winning, due to the fact that it's cheap, and everybody thinks it's fun, old people, young people, teenagers, everyone.

I think it takes a big man to admit his console. isn't winning.

(spellcheck wanted to turn "gentle" into "genital")
4  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Some games you may not remember( or ever heard of) on: 2 January 2008, 10:12:45
Who hasn't played Commander Keen?
I didn't much care for the DOS Megaman games though. They were icky!

dude I loved them, I have the very first original megaman game for dos, if you were to run it on a modern day computer it's unplayable cause everything goes to fast. all the animations and crap move as fast as the processer allows. I wish I could build a random peice of crap to play it.

any of you guys played Parasite Eve? it was well know, but rarely thought about. I loved it, untill I got stuck, then my PS1 burned out and I was gameless for like 4 years, no joke. I need to find my memory card now that I have a PS2.
5  MegaMan Matrix / MMM General Forum / Re: I seriously fear Mega Man's future. on: 2 January 2008, 10:00:53
The way I see it, unless they're willing to start putting 2d games on the new consoles, megaman x and classic, are beat. due to there simple nature and even simpler gameplay, you'd either have to complicate things(losing the best part about megaman, the simplicity) or go retro on a new system, both ideas are bad in there own rights, obviously true megaman fans will love them, but lately the gaming industry is all about reaching out to different peoples, and capcom is no exception.

in the long run, to bring back x and classic(the good ones) they'd have to pull some pretty risky #####, or go hand held, which is no good cause capcom has always done a good job at keeping there handheld games and there consol games strictly separate, that is to say, they don't go, PS1: X: 1 2 3 4 5 6; PS2: X:7 8, DS: 9, 10 11, etc.

oops, almost overlooked the legends series, yeah, if they could do that, that'd be great, cause the legends series has the most flexability due to it's 3D roots, you can gently change designs and what not and just blame the simplicity of the older games on poor graphics development. but, x and classic, dead. all they have are legends and whatever spin offs on the handhelds that havecome out and I haven't followed. or if they come up with another idea all together, as in a new series.
6  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 2 January 2008, 09:08:13
I think that would be the first thing I'd check for when doing something like that...

allow me a brain fart? I honestly didn't think of that, but I also haven't layed a design, so I could always work with the space given, maybe even take a couple of chunks out of the frame work, who knows.
7  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: That ol' Sprite Thread on: 2 January 2008, 09:05:08
My bad, it's mostly scratch, but you can't tell me that the feet aren't from a zero sprite, even if you did make them, you copied them from a zero sprite, all the way down to the shading. now look, I'm not trying to be an ass, but that's what threw me for a loop when you said 100%, cause the feet are the same, which gives the illusion of the rest being the same. and you said nothing about the zero edit that's inside the box prior to reply #321

and for future ref. you don't need petty insults to get your point across, so, no terms like "moron" please, it just makes it look like you couldn't think of anything smarter than a common insult. not that I'm saying you couldn't, it just give that impression.
8  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: That ol' Sprite Thread on: 2 January 2008, 06:07:55
yep it's a 100% scratch MMZ edit. but seriously, could you explain why it look so much like a MMZ sprite, kinda sorta exactly.(looking at legs, vest, basic head shape, wait, everything)
9  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 2 January 2008, 05:58:13
Wow, that's decent modding right there.
I wouldn't mind having a light up GH3 controller.

yeah well, I just ran into a Major problem with the lighted design, I'm not sure if it'll work because of the supports on the inside for the buttons and circuit board. but I'll still give it a try
10  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 30 December 2007, 08:20:27
okay, that made me laugh. But seriously, I just said I was a loser to get him to shut up, but, seems JC is right, oh well.

Any who, I never used to like modding, seemed pretty risky, still is, which is why I don't modify firmware and crap, I'd rather love it for what it is. But, I do, do re-textures for fable, it's not much, but I don't have a 3D editting program, so it stays at that. And I have a lot of background with painting plastic, I do the whole bit, sanding, two coats of primer, two coats of paint, like a gazillion coats of clear coat, then a lot of polishing with automotive polish. makes a real nice gloss finish, but it is getting to the painting that's going to be a wench on the controller, because I have to build a part from scratch, then add internal lighting, and a design cut into the plastic and filled with an epoxy of sorts, this will trap the light, and give the design a nice glow.
11  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 28 December 2007, 08:49:21
CM, I said drop it, seriously it's childish, and, technicly, spamming. besides, I'm actually not cool at all, I'm a loser, but I still do what I do and think what I think.

MOX, I was looking for that site, I could never remember the name of it though. BUT that was before I started with this crap.
12  MegaMan Series / Zero Series / Re: Zero Complete Work Discussion on: 28 December 2007, 08:41:13
That's Xero's point. you my friend stated the obvious, which actually made me laugh my ass off. on the other hand, you guys are so angry about this messing up the story line, it's making me want to buy a copy, so please, carry on.
13  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who created Zero??? on: 28 December 2007, 07:49:31
you know, I think I was there. yeah, I'm pretty sure I was there, something about a test tube and your DNA, PW, seems to me, your mom created zero, or produced him,
14  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 28 December 2007, 07:44:09
I'm ot for skinningeither, and I've nevr done a paintjob before, but I'm getting into it, cause I have too much free time. either way I just figured a couple of you guys might have done something interest, or, anything at all, oh well.
15  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 28 December 2007, 07:18:38
for starters, I'm not vain, and I need not my anttention or yours, second, grow up, I was actually serious on the topic, and just cause you have about as much sense for electronics as your average Ipod user, doesn't mean I need you lack of intellectual responce. and to think, this could have been avoided if you just hadn't told me not to flatter myself. now, let's drop this, cause, nobody cares, as usual.
16  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who created Zero??? on: 28 December 2007, 07:07:05
or heagreed that nobody cared where I came from, etiher way, people should always make things easy, through either limiting or extending, information.
17  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: modding(LEGALLY) on: 28 December 2007, 07:00:47
OK what was that all about? I'm not getting your posts either of you, either I'm not privy to whatever you guys are saying, or I don't try to save time by cutting my words down to nothing. but I'll take both your comment s as criticism and ask why.

and you CAN'T crouch permanantly in halo, which is annoying, but I wouldn't explain why, cause you don't care.
18  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / modding(LEGALLY) on: 28 December 2007, 05:10:35
I undertsand there's alot of different mods out there, mostly of the Zex box, and Preystation variaty, but I'm not talking about firmware mods(cause I dpn'y like em) but hardware mods, maybe even just a dumb custom paint job. for instance I'm working on an xbox controller witha custom paint job, and a little lighted design, a couple of turbo triggers and a crouch switch for retarded gme like halo that don't have permanant crouch. I'll put up a couple of prgress shots but so far I'm just saning 90% of the surface smooth.

Anyone elsae into modding of this sort, even on computers?

P.S. I put this in creation station cause there's not only a visual element to this but a creative one, tell me if I'm wrong.
19  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Some games you may not remember( or ever heard of) on: 28 December 2007, 04:48:47
Dynamite Headdy ring a bell to anyone? Lovely game it is, because it makes no sense at all.

I loved it, though it brings back memories of a game I could never, and will never beat.  I just don't have the head for it
20  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who created Zero??? on: 28 December 2007, 04:38:46
Tell me my friend, how were you able to know and they didn't? You stalked me didn't you?!

anywho yeah I was a member here, then Abe updated, yaddah yaddah, who cares. the important thing here is, Zero got tainted by some bean juice that spilled on him, a little electricity sparked across his circuits, and boom, you have the maverick virus, but, since Wily put him away so quickly after he defeated Willy, the juice didn't cause any problems until he was activated again.

edit: spelling/grammar, I should proof read BEFORE, I post, HUH-DER.
I agree.

hey buddy, since you were complaining about everyone Else's theories, I'm sure that's not what you agree with, so, next time, would you mind being more specific? no wonder why every body keeps scolding you...
21  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Some games you may not remember( or ever heard of) on: 26 December 2007, 05:32:12

22  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Some games you may not remember( or ever heard of) on: 25 December 2007, 09:14:22
Anyone heard of Beyond Oasis, or Legend of Oasis. great games, Beyond was for Genesis and Legend was for Saturn. abe knows them. but by some thor name that I forgot.
23  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Games you wish had sequels on: 25 December 2007, 09:10:24
well, a bit ago I had hoped for a "Nights Into Dreams" sequal, but, they are.have made it, and made Nights lok like a fairy, and not the cute little woman kind. idk, haven't played it, and I'll never have a Wii so I wont.

Jet Moto 4 anyone? I'm thinkin' jet moto with all the customizing coolness of modern racing games.
24  Non-MegaMan / Any Other Business? / Re: What did YOU do while MMM was down? Update us on you. on: 25 December 2007, 08:19:50

25  MegaMan Series / Legends Series / Re: Would YOU pay 15 MILLION for a Legends 3? on: 25 December 2007, 08:13:13
I loved the camera, it avoided the use of that second thumb stick, which was a bloody pain in the arse.

And that my friends was sarcasm, with beans.

speaking of beans, that's really how zero was created, see, Willy loved the stuff,
Wily on the other hand did not, so, Wily made zero to kill Willy, it's really quite simple, Willy smelled like bean farts, Wily couldn't deal with it.
