MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Sano? A villain? Again? -- Comic Jam

Sano, you're a real dick, you know that? He did a great job, the whole point of a goddamn comic jam is that everyone gets to add their own bits. No single person can control the comic.
I mean, when you throw in worthless pages, we grit our teeth and try hard to get around it, and we occasionally flat-out bash you for it, but it's only because you're doing the same thing you are now: trying to control it 100% to be just how you want it.
If you want it one way, make the entire comic yourself.

Yesterday was pretty fun. See, for winter drumline, our band teacher had rightfully NOT signed us up for a competition over winter break, but the organization pulled out the rulebook or some dumb ##### like that and said we had to perform yesterday. Now, our drumline instructor is a pretty cool guy, so he didn't force the entire drumline to go, plus some of us were on vacation anyway. So, instead, he skimmed the rules and put up the bare minimum: We needed 8 performers, and 4 minutes of showtime, with at least some marching. 8 of us volunteered and our instructor pretty much set up a show that was just a big "##### You" to the organization, except in a nice way. We devised the makeshift show to just be a big joke: We played the most basic warm-up excersize for about a minute, which is essentially straight eighth-notes under the guise of the name "8-8-16" with alternating hands. Then we played a slightly more interesting yet much longer and dragged out excersize 16 times, marching forwards and backwards at random times. To top it off, we played our pep band groove akin to the beat of "This Is How We Do" for the remainder of the 5 minutes. All the other drumlines got a kick out of it because of how ridiculous the whole thing was.
We got 1st place, too, because everyone else competing in our class didn't have to do this bull##### show... but in the end it was pretty funny.
I went to GameStop later that night and bought a Classic Controller for the Wii. I really wanted to play the Donkey Kong Country games again, and the GCN Controller wasn't cutting it. I must say, it's a nice controller. Not good for NES games, though. Well, I mean, I'd just rather use the sideways Wii-mote.
Lastly, those videos of me jumping out of my car will have to wait: the kid with the camera went on an impromptu vacation to Vegas with his family.

Not at all. Though I may not be a huge fan of Pokemon, there is no way Starforce even compares.
Starforce is like watching crappy storylines play out via loooooooooong dialogue and budget animations using sprites with probably 12 frames total and the same backgrounds over and over again. And when you finally DO get to play, it's probably the easiest thing you'll ever do. I played through the entire game. It's crap. The only thing that is even CLOSE to being similar to Pokemon is the fact that it was sold in multiple versions.

When someone dumped the disc data, there was some fragmented data in found in some of the playable character info that clearly hinted at Dixie Kong, Toon Zelda, Toon Ganon, and some others. I'll try and find it.

I'm underweight to give blood... I wanted to, though.
Anyway, today was possibly the most fun I've had in a while. Before school, I have to park in the students lot, but after school, we chill in the band room for a while, so I let my friend drive my car up with me in it. See, he's already 17 and hasn't even taken driver's training yet due to personal problems, so I let him drive very short distances like across the school parking lot to the band room.
So I told him to park but he got cocky and drove further towards a circular couldesac-type bit behind the school. Our friends were in another car pulling up to the same lot right behind us. I'm like "Hey, man, park or I'll jump out of the car!" so I opened the car door at about 15MPH and pretended to jump... I don't know what came over me but I randomly decided to jump out towards a snow bank that looked cushy. I didn't even get close and I hit the ground hard. I have a high tolerance for pain, though, so I jumped right back up and started running after the car because my dumb buddy was still driving.
At this point the car behind us with my other friends pulls up and we have a "great" idea: use one guy's high-quality camera that we were using earlier to tape the school's pep assembly... to videotape me doing that same bit again. Crazy moron I am, I was all for it. It was fun despite the pain, and the whole freaking fact that I'm jumping out of a moving car.
So we go for a second round. I take off my green hoodie now because I don't want to ruin it on the concrete. I'm oddly not worried about my own flesh.
This time I stand outside the door a bit and launch off, completely lose my orientation and land flat on my ass. Totally scraped up my elbow and my wrist, but I jumped right back up and started running after the car again. This is all on video and is absolutely hilarious. It'll be uploaded to Youtube soon enough and I'll post it.
Anyway, there's still more. Bud A, as I'm going to call him, was the one I let drive my car. He's kind of a big kid, not super-huge, but still overweight. Kinda' round. We all convince him to try it once. For whatever reason, he agrees. I drive around the circular drive and he hops out for a good old fashioned tuck'n'roll and he is successful ---- except the guy with camera got a horrible angle. We couldn't see.
For WHATEVER reason, he agreed to do it again for a better angle. This time, we go for it and he sort of leaned out to much and instead of jumping out, he just FELL out. As in, face-first roll. The worst part? My wheel drove over his foot. I stop the car immediately and everyone runs out, all 6 or 7 of us. The camera-guy is still in the other car, sticking out the sun-roof videotaping Bud A keeling in pain on the ground. None of us know what the hell to do, he's cursing like a madman and I'm standing there scared #####less. He recovers, miraculously, with nothing broken. He gets up and we help him inside and he rests for a while.
This injury was not for naught, though - we got TWO camera angles. Two high-quality cameras taped the feat. One guy was standing outside on the sidewalk and got a perfect view directly in front of him, and the other guy, as I already mentioned, was taping from the other car's sunroof. The video is seriously material that you'd see on that show Scarred. If he had really hurt himself, we probably would've sent it in... "unfortunately", he's 100% okay. A bit sore, yeah, but we were all surprised to see him get up. He's very lucky.
Later on, we go to K-Mart and mess around everywhere. We bought a dodgeball for three bucks and went outside in the parking lot. We threw it at each others' nuts as hard as we could. Then we went to Guitar Center and #####ed around for an hour or so.
We're retarded. I'm gonna' miss these guys when I graduate.

At least with Diddy in, they've sort of pulled DK farther away from his Mario affiliation. Although Diddy has been making tons of appearances lately in Mario games... so maybe it's the other way around.
Anyway, in Melee: Best with: Yoshi, Bowser Secondaries: Pikachu, Jigglypuff, and recently Captain Falcon

Also, I will likely be maining Wario still, after all this time. Yoshi and Bowser will probably be pushed into secondaries (I used them both equally in Melee.) Apparently Wario has godly recovery. If you ride his cycle off the side of the stage, you still get three jumps back: one jump off the cycle, one double jump, and the Up+B jump to finish it off. What's even better is if you jump off one side of the arena, double jump further, turn around and use Side+B to get on the cycle mid-air, you can jump off the cycle and get three more jumps STILL. As in: Jump + Double-Jump + Cycle + Jump off cycle + Double Jump + UpB Jump

Was this really a competition?
You made it into one after it already ended. "Yeah, uh, I though of that smart idea, too, but, uh, yeah, I forgot to, uh, do it. Yeah. So, like, I'm just as smart as him. I should get, uh, like, just as much credit." OR MAYBE I JUST LIKE PICKING ON YOU
