"Moon" looks fantastic but apparently it's hardly playing anywhere. I've been really looking forward to it.
Two others that look great are World's Greatest Dad (though the trailer makes it look awful) and Big Fan.

I just realized that some of you probably would refer to me as a vet. That makes me feel awkward.
I'm trying to remember when I joined. I'm thinking 2003? That would have been 8th grade, and I know I went here before I got sent to military school in 2004 because I was happy to find out that it wasn't one of the many blocked websites once I got there.
It could have been as early as 2002, no later than 2003. That's at least six years regardless.
Six years of coming here. Goddamn.
I love you guys.
Oh, and give it up for Abe. ##### costs money. When I'm rich and famous, I'll send you some benjamins.
Hey.
Were you the kid who had the "Support our troops!" signature or whatever and your sprite was MM in jungle camo gear?
I mean I don't think it was you but it was someone who also went to military school. I've been trying to remember who that one was for a while.
Not I.

The Argentinian Disney Channel does have actual commercials, not just Disney's, but only a few. Also, they are like a normal channel. Twenty or so minutes of program, commercial cut, repeat.
Normal channels have commercial cuts more often than that, though honestly, there really isn't a set timer. It depends on what show and what time it's playing for how many commercial cuts they throw in there. Some hour-long episodes of Lost can have as many as 7 commercial breaks. And yeah, I think Disney Channel only has them between shows, or at least once during, like an act break or something.

They've always had commercials, but they're more like promotions for their own shows on the channel, quick mini-features for Disney movies like THE MOVIE SURFERS, stuff about new Disney DVD's, or events and stuff.

So, earlier in the summer, I lent out my Six Feet Under DVD's to a friend of mine, and she's been slowly watching them for the last couple of months.
I told her I wanted to watch the finale again with her when she got to it, and that happened today.
The reason I wanted to watch it with her was because I was curious to see if she'd cry.
I was almost expecting her not to, despite my faith in that unbelievable finale, because I kept telling her she would, which would mean she'd probably try harder not to.
IT WAS LIKE NIAGRA FALLS UP IN THERE

And Disney doesn't even have REAL commercials! They could, technically, not air any commercials.
Because they're #####ing Disney.
But they CHOOSE to air commercials promoting only Disney-related products and things.

Nice! I think I'm gonna' try this out. Vista had no appeal to me, and neither does Windows 7 really, but I keep hearing about how great it is and if I'm ever gonna' switch, now's the time. Plus, I can't find my XP install discs, anyway. For anyone curious: I use a extra-large laptock connected to a docking station BASICALLY as if it were a desktop computer. I never take it around with me places like most people do with laptops. However, the mobility of a laptop is a huge necessity to me so I can take it back and forth from school and other places where it will stay for long periods of time. The problem is that I've worn this thing down so much over the years. It's slowly built up so much crap that I don't ever want to even start THINKING about sitting down and cleaning this thing up. And it's not that I don't take good care of it: it's just the natural build-up of space. It only has an 80GB hard drive because I bought it right before, suddenly, every laptop in stores could hold a #####load more than they used to be able to. It's now running so slow and sluggishly that I can't stand it anymore. I copied the essentials to my terabyte and I'm gonna' go for it. Posted on: 4 July 2009, 18:30:48
Alrighty, I'm all jazzed up with Windows 7. So far so good.

Upgrade to windows 7. Release candidate is free until March. Works awesome.
Explain, because I'm considering this. I mean, I'm wiping the whole drive anyway and I'd have to use an old XP install disc... so I'd rather try Windows 7 finally. Give me the details, broseph.

My computer has gotten so slow and retarded...
...that I'm wiping the hard drive.
Just to see if it does anything.
I transfered most of the good stuff to my terabyte external, so I'm all set.

Seriously, though, leave this ##### to happen to me.
I take near obsessive care of all my belongings, especially anything that's a disc.
My brother, on the other hand, doesn't even know where half the cases to any of his games are, they're tossed around the house in all corners of god-knows-where, discs lying sideways or upside down or wedged between shelves and books and on the ground... and he's never had a problem.
I'm glad we have such vastly different taste in video games or else there'd be serious problems.

Coincidentally, my Smash Bros. Brawl disc is now apparently ruined. This is the first time this has ever happened to any disc I've ever owned, be it video game, music, or DVD.
It freezes every time I try to start a match. I can see and feel a scratch on it.
Goddamn.

No More Heroes was lame once you got past the crazy stylizations and absurd storyline.
It oozes style, but that causes you to forget that it's a pretty bad game otherwise.

I just watched all six episodes of "Eastbound and Down" in one sitting with some friends, and... holy crap. I was blown away. It's a really good show. I mean, I wasn't expecting anything BAD, but... but I wasn't expecting something really really good. Which it was.
It was really really good.
