2901  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Looks like ZX is done for on: 8 April 2008, 23:11:46
Even intelligent people who do like ZX and BN are keen to admit that their gameplay is inferior to the Classic and X series.

That's fact, not opinion. I promise you that.

Correct.  You get 10 Wily Fun Bux.

Battle Network screwed around with the formula after BN3 was done.

Eh, I guess I can agree with that.  Battle Network 3 still has the best gameplay and stuff.  Just wasn't as good once they started the TOTAL-FAIL that was Battle Network 4.

Correct.  You get 10 Wily Fun Bux.

Same here, I hate when posts get deleted because then I get all confused, and so do other people, and it's kind of a forum cheat code if you will to prevent yourself from looking like an idiot.

That's why I turn off non staff's ability to delete and edit posts on the forums I run.

2905  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: GENERAL X SERIES ENQUIRIES on: 8 April 2008, 23:00:07
Does it ever truly state that X is immune to the 'maverick virus'?
Not immune from what I know but HIGHLY resistant.

If you want to believe the BS new age "suffering circuit" incompatibility as what the maverick virus is, then X would be canonly immune since he had the original program.

I don't.  But your mileage may vary.
2906  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: What it Truly is to be a Maverick. on: 8 April 2008, 22:57:20
Yeah but you were playing Metroid Prime 3, which is what should really be explained.

OH SNAP!  Get that kid a wet blanket he got BURNED.

did you menttion the game two?

Space Balls is one of only 3 films Rick Moranas has been in that is any good.  The others being:
Strange Brew
Ghostbusters

Strange Brew just inching out Space Balls as Moranas' best performance.

I think Megaman's future is going just fine, to tell the true.

You're going to be eaten alive here.  Also, your signature made me EL OH EL.  Suffice to say if that's what you really think, I'm sure YOU'LL be quite happy with whatever Mega Man related garbage Capcom #####s out.  The rest of us will continue enjoy the games that were good and hope in vain that the quality fairy comes back to visit Capcom.
2911  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: What it Truly is to be a Maverick. on: 5 April 2008, 20:04:56
Maverick was originally used to describe Reploids who went berserk due to technical issues.  However, as the full scope of giving Reploids free will became aparent (what kind of idiots didn't see that comming?) it was more widely applied to Reploids who chose to cause harm to others.  As reploid technology evolved, mechanical failure became far more rare and the term is generally the Reploid equilivant of "criminal" now.

TIME FOR MEGA MAN AND THE ROBO POLICE TO GET TO WORK!

2913  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who wants an X Command mission 2? on: 3 April 2008, 20:19:35
:: wipes tear from eye ::

That sir, was beautifully put.  I understand what Rama was trying to say, but that doesn't change the fact it will still be about Elfs.  You could make it about X and Zero sitting in a bunker in Iceland while elfs kamakazi humans into dust, but it's still about the elfs, and if you DON'T focus on the elfs, which is what the war revolves around and play the major part in, WHY THE ##### ARE YOU MAKING A GAME SET DURING THIS ABORTION OF A PLOT POINT?

That's all we're saying.
2914  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who wants an X Command mission 2? on: 1 April 2008, 17:31:20
As for the elves, yes they are retarded, but I was thinking about the concept of making Elf Wars into a game by focusing on the -WAR- and not the elves.

Do you even understand how illogical that is?  The war revolves around the elfs in every way.  You can't not focus on something that's the focal point of the entire event.  I really can't think of any nice way to say that statement made you sound extremely ignorant.
2915  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who wants an X Command mission 2? on: 1 April 2008, 06:18:20
You can't say that for sure.

2921  MegaMan Series / X Series / Re: Who wants an X Command mission 2? on: 25 March 2008, 19:27:52
One of the "source books" retconned it out because the time frame clashed with MMZ.  Or so I had read.  Weather or not it's at all true, I have no idea.

And a second Command Mission needn't continue what happened in the first.  As long as it's an RPG based in the Mega Man X series and ignores the ass spit canon Inti Creates helped make it can be as good as the first game.

... as long as Sigma is the boss.

I suggest playing Mega Man X, the original.  Or any of the classic games.  See what a game with REAL gameplay is like.  Then you'll see ZX's critical flaws.

How about, instead of forcing some #####ing gimmick into the game (lulz FLUDD, lulz URA WULF, lul beast Sonic?) you just focus on solid gameplay with your character NOT #####ed up to incorporate unnecessary and detracting game elements to make it "different".
2926  Non-MegaMan / Non-MegaMan Games / Re: Sonic Unleashed on: 24 March 2008, 18:48:45
I'd like to say "Oh, maybe Sega's going to turn around the series with this one."
But I highly doubt this'll be much better than the rest of the recent installments to the series.

Sonic is the only other character who can claim his series was more nerfed than Mega Man...

2930  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: MMPU.. Epic comeback! on: 22 March 2008, 23:08:59
You can only select one boss for your stage.  What if you want to do a Guantlet?  Or just add a "mid boss" to your stage?  You can't.
2931  MegaMan Series / ZX Series / Re: Looks like ZX is done for on: 22 March 2008, 23:07:35
ZX's gameplay is awful.  You have to switch forms to do every damn move.  In Mega Man/ X, your playable character could, IN ONE FORM:

1) Double Jump
2) Air Dash
3) Dash
4) Wall Climb
5) Slide
6) Duck

As they applied to which game you were playing as obviously X couldn't slide (but why?).  The point being all your most basic movements didn't require you to STOP and change forms every time you came across a stage element, which you do in ZX.  That, at the most basic level is criminally bad gameplay design.
2932  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: MMPU.. Epic comeback! on: 22 March 2008, 22:59:24
Construction mode issues to fix:

1) Add more than 1 boss.
2) Add Fortress Bosses to what you can select from
3) Let you pick and choose stage enemies - do away with "packs".  You NEVER get just the right combo of stage enemies.
4) Let you use teleport pods
5) Let you designate "death pits" at the bottom of a screen even if there is an active area right below that screen.
6) Let you choose the grid size and shape, so long as there are the same number of total screens, what does it matter?  This way you could have a stage that's 100 screens wide by 1 tall if you so choose.
7) Let you pick your stage traps like enemies.  Packs do not work.
8) Let you choose your stage theme seperate from the look - or better yet, add your own music.

One thing I really didn't like is that in this version of Mega Man that he's only 1/3 the height of the screen.  The old school games he was fairly small to the size of the screen so there was lots of room both horizntal and verticle.  The lack of verticle depth really hurts the game play.

2934  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: MMPU.. Epic comeback! on: 22 March 2008, 01:55:06
Robot Master mode in MMPU wasn't really dependant on a story... it was just a dumb little bonus.
2935  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Ask Doctor Wily on: 22 March 2008, 01:24:23
Dr.Wily, what's your opinion on Gutsman's sexy, welltoned ass?

>:( - "Ach, DUH NUH!!!!"
2936  MegaMan Series / Classic Series / Re: MMPU.. Epic comeback! on: 22 March 2008, 00:39:34
MMPU wasn't bad, but I thought the NES games actually had a LOT tighter gameplay.  And I didn't like the style for the stages, a big floating BG with the foreground missing a "back wall" that you could see it.

But I'd still buy MMPU2.  As long as they FIX the robot master modes so the game is balanced when you play with them.  Some of the RMs in MMPU are hard as ##### soly because stage design/boss encounters are not adjusted to take into account how them move/attack.
2937  MegaMan Matrix / The Creation Station / Re: Ask Doctor Wily on: 22 March 2008, 00:31:59
