How cute... he actually thought this thread was for asking REAL questions. Even if in his case it was a real DUMB question. If the good Doctor were still around, he would probably say something like this: - "Ach, vhat haff you never used zee "internets" before? You appear to barely be able to read und you are trying to use zhis forum? Gott in himmel. I zhould zend out Cut Man to take you to Hot Topic zo you can cut yourself like all the other kiddies your age seem to be doing. Leaf zee internet to zee adults und go back to watching Hanna Montana." Or something like that.

Yeah, for some reason RE games don't appeal to me. I tried RE4 on the Wii and got a little far but I eventually just stopped playing.
Resident Evil 4 is about as much a Resident Evil game as Power Battles is a Mega Man game. Still a good game, but doing something quite different from what the series actually was built on and is defined by.

Got my hands on RE5 this weekend.
... yuck.
Game is pretty much what I expected and less. Sheva is nothing more than Leon's briefcase with legs that can get you killed and keeps you from being able to do what you need to in your invintory if things get hectic. It's all out action in sickingly straight path run and shoot style. No exploration what so ever. Even RE4 had more of a RE2/3 Racoon City feel than this #####. I aboslutely HATE the "buy ##### and upgrade between chapters" bull#####. God does that feel so out of place and mishandled. At least the merchant made sense from a gameplay point and he was hella cool to boot! The "checkpoint/autosave" ##### also just feels completely wrong and adds to the awful linear feel of the game. And Sheva's AI is indeed awful. Hop up on the roof with that ammo! Think you should pick it up? No? Ok, just hop back down. Hey pick up that ammo, I'm full. No? Pick it up. No? Pick it up. No? :: shoots lock off door :: pick up that ammo. GOOD JOB BITCH. Waiting for those enemies to get closesr to blow them away, bam bam bam, hey could you NOT waste ammo? Christ.
RE4 was a good game, but a #####ty RE game. RE5 is just a #####ty game. It wants to be an action game, but as I've seen people point out a LOT, it just doesn't play like one. I'm mostly just going to go through it to see what spoilers are true and which aren't at this point, but I'm pretty sure the game does ##### all over certain main plot characters, so either way this will likely be my last RE game.
OH, and the BEST part? Capcom's doing a Remake of RE2 for wii... AS A #####ING LIGHT GUN GAME ON RAILS.
#####. YOU. CAPCOM.

Ugh, Ys. I've only played III, and only up to the first cave. That game is such a horribly boring grind fest, I can only hope the others are not like it, Vinch.
... you did not just bash Ys3. One of my favorite side scroling RPGs, grinding and all. I once maxed out my stats in the first dungeon before I played any farther just because I COULD. Also, it has the best music in the series, and one of the best RPG scores EVER period. But speaking of the Devil, I just finished Legacy of Ys Book I & II on DS. Damn fine game. Damn fine. Book 2 is a good 3 times longer than 1, but it all balances out into one complete and awesome RPG. God I miss the days of the silent protagonist. I am now starting up Jake Hunter.

I know, I did it in 5 minutes just before rushing out the door from work. I just couldn't be bothered to fix. I usually use PSP to do transparencies, but as I was at work and on Macs all I had was Photoshop, which I just don't care for using to do transparencies.
I'M CHANGING IT BACK TONIGHT ANYWAYS GEEZE!

Theresia for DS. Holy #####. This is a great survival horror adventure game. The game has more atmosphere than any game on DS I've played and has a very strong Silent Hill vibe to it. The interface is a nice mix between Shadowgate 64 (actually moving in 3D enviroments) and Shadowgate NES (detailed still screens for rooms and action points). Plot is quite good and presented in a masterful way. And get this, my game time clocked in about 15 hours for both scenerios even with me cheating with a faq for the 2nd one. This is an absolute gem for the DS and if you like survival horror games you do yourself and your DS a GREAT disservice for not picking it up.

MM&B ones are hard to recall, even though 2 are recycled.
I don't remember how well I did, but it was a disappointment not to win.
Only 1 of my 3 were from MM&B... I can't believe I spaced out on the two from MM5 though. Though honestly I nearly missed all of the 6 original MM&B ones as I've only played the game twice (my least favorite classic game hands down).

If it's an "old" series it won't be Star Force or ZX, as they're both "current". The rules for the contest will probably be a good tell which series it will be for since you obviously wouldn't be designing Robot Masters for an X game or Navis for a Classic game. Though to be honest, out of our choices, Only Classic, X or Legends hold any intrest for me. Zero was absolute ##### and I doubt Battle Network will be any better than 4-6. Of course you can say the same for X, but seeing what they did with MM9, I have some faith X can be brought back to something that resembles the formor absolute win the series used to be.

I see NOTHING. Glad you like the covers. The other 67 should be up before long, hopefully, when I reopen orchNEStra. But I'll need to finish rerecording the albums first. Do you have 4, 5, and 6?
I don't know, DO I?

I am pleased to say after tonight you will be the last person on my list to settle debts with! YOU LUCKY DOG YOU!
I find it hard to believe you couldn't get what you're missing from Heatman or Splashman. Or maybe you've not yet tried to contact any of us to get it? Bah, either way you should at least pop in from time to time. Even I'm not on 24/7 anymore, but it's still fun to bully mentor the latest generation of speds fans.
Here's a present for you though for your album art!
