I thought it was a rather crappy weapon myself, but you have to use it with some finesse. It's actually quite useful, just tricky to use. That does not make it a bad weapon. Leave the mindless hating to people who know how to do it son.

I started an easy mode game just to grind through with Proto to see if the cinemas are different. My god the game pretty much just turns into "push right on d pad, win stage". It's kind of funny.
I do love Auto's shop for Protoman though. It's like he's skimming ##### off of Light's lab and selling them with a mark up in a back alley black market.

Well, I can safely say that MM9 is better than MM10. It's still a good game, but these weapons suck real bad, and this music isn't great like it was in 9. That's just a few reasons why.
INCORRECT. 10 is better by about every strech of the word. While overall 9's music was better, 10's isn't bad, and I think we can ALL agree Solar Man's theme is God Tier. Jewel Shield and Black Hole Bomb were tops, but other than that, 9s weapons weren't any better than 10s. And while I didn't really care for the music for Wily's castle as much as 9s, the Castle itself was INFINATELY better than 9's. The bosses were #####ing epic. The new Block Devil was #####ing evil. Fighting new "Doc Robots" was awesome. The Robo Wily pod fight at the end IN SPACE was one of my favorite final Wily fights. 9 was good, yes, and better than 10 in some areas, but 10 is a much better game OVERALL. Oh, and I'm still rather rusty, as I took about 4 hours to beat it. But it was a damn good 4 hours.

Spoiled myself a bit with the intro and 2 stage playthroughs. I'll hold of any more until the games out. Loved the music that I heard though. Stage Selected remix is #####ing epic, it might just top 2's. Intro music wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.
How long until we can expect the MM10 guide to go up Abe? :D

Ace Attorney: Investigations
Get this. NOW.
I'm on case 3 right now. The game is GOD TIER. The first half hour of case 1 blew all of Apollo Justice out of the water, and I LIKED AJ (even though I had several grips with it and didn't think it was nearly as good as AA1-3). Ace Attorney: Investigations is #####ing FANTASTIC. I want a new Phoenix Wright game with the investigation phases done like this.

It's silly to pay for what you're not using. If you don't plan to get the site proper back up then you can get away with a LOT less for just the mboard. And if that's all you want I wouldn't be averse to even letting you plop it over on my server as far as that goes. Lord knows I owe you for hosting orchNEStra for a year or three.

So if they put 10 asstastic games on one DS cartridge for $20 you'd buy it because it's a lot of games for a little money?
...right. They could sell it for $1 and I'd tell them to shove it up thier ass.
But you know, I hate MMZ more than fire hates water.

Dr.Wily a question.
So how did you steal the robots in Mega Man 10? Did you use the Robotenza to corrupt them?

You can all eat a dick, Blade Man is solid. I don't like Nitro Man. Transforming Robot Masters are awful. Pump Man looks WAY too much like Dive Man to me, and just doesn't work like Spark man or Spring Man for being a Robot Master who's suppose to be something. Chill Man is one of the worst Ice bosses in the series. That ice helmet he has is ugly as hell. Strike Man is awesome. Commando Man is ok, but really looks more like a stage enemy to me. Sheep Man is still ridiculous looking. Pick cloud or sheep, but not both, because the mix just isn't working that way. Solar Man looks a bit too much like a Star Droid for my liking and is getting TOO complex for a classic series Boss for my taste.

PU2? Gameplay (and remixes) needs to be SUBSTANTIAL improved over 1 or it's just so much eye candy. Level editor needs some serious changes to it as well.
Other than that, it's too bad I missed it. Would have liked to see a bit.

I don't think I said it was worth playing, since it's BN1 all over again, I just said it wasn't a BAD game by any means... but I already own the game for the GBA.
AND they "fixed" some elements of gameplay. And by fixed I mean nerfed. ##### that. If I want game breakingly broken folders and ADD ADD ADD ADD ADD I will damn well have it. Internet maps are not worth the gimping.

I'm just remembering when a lot of people at RPM were saying the Nintendo Power scans of Mega Man 9 were fake. They're probably keeping quiet now.
Also, not meaning to pick on Rez or anything, but his opinion has practically flip-flopped between the announcements MM9 and MM10.
Of course, with Inticreates at the helm we're guarenteed a pice of ##### no matter what, but one can hope. I shall, as Capcom has taught me to, belive this game will be awful until it proves to be good.
9 was not without flaws, but it was good overall (coming from Inti that in itself was astounding), so I'll assume 10 will be good until I'm proven wrong.
Overall, I hope the game itself maintains what Mega Man 9 had.
Going in Inti had only created abortions like MMZ/ZX. It was natural to assume MM9 was going to be tainted with their cancer. In a surprise about as big as Command Mission not being a piece of #####, MM9 was pretty good over all. I base my opinions on track record. Inti has a ##### track record. If proven wrong, I tell it like it is. That's not a flip flop in the sense that it's usually used. - Unfortunately, there won't be a female Robot Master this time around. Sorry, Splash Woman fans.
:<
Yeah, suck it folks. Female bosses are a horrid idea and have no place in Mega Man. Go cry somewhere else. This is FABLOUS news. I just hope Sheep Man is the low point of the designs.

I could almost get behind Sheep Man if not for those AWFUL electrodes. They're trying too hard to mix sheep and rain cloud, and it doesn't work.
I guess he's no worse than Toad Man or Centaur Man though.
Let us pray Inti does not try to #####ing shoehorn in another female boss and tones down the shop system.
I'd really like to see Mega Man get his slide back, but I'm all for no charge shot.
2 player? Sounds like it COULD be loads of fun. If it doesn't mess up the design for the single player game.
9 was not without flaws, but it was good overall (coming from Inti that in itself was astounding), so I'll assume 10 will be good until I'm proven wrong.

Playing Broken Sword on the DS. Never played them back in the day, and I must say the game has aged quite well from comming from the late 90s. It's a great old school point and click game adventure game. I hope they port the other 3 games as well.

It's ridiculous though, because the DS more or less moved past forcing use of the touch screen (outside a few first party Nintendo titles ::cough::zeldastarfox::cough: and reserving it's use when it actually fits/benefits the gameplay of the game. The Wii hasn't seemed to follow suit. Then again, it's not followed suit on the NES/SNES level quality of 3rd party games either. ...well, it's still leaps and bounds better than the GC and the N64.

Playing NSMBWII. I have only one complaint on it, and that's the control scheme isn't great. Neither the sideways wii remote or nunchuck configuration are completely good and NEITHER are even CLOSE to 3/World in-so-far as how butter smooth they control. Which is a shame because the DS NSMB was just as good as 3/world (of course it was pretty much an SNES pad configuration). Why Nintendo DIDN'T build in support for a classic controller scheme is beyond me.
That said, the game is fantastic. Propeller Suit is God Tier. Multi player is a lot harder due to chaos and all the accidently killing your friends, but single player is pretty easy (thus far, I blew threw world 1 with my eyes closed).
If they'd fixed the controls, this would be God Tier Mario. As it is, it's only High tier.

I'm up to my eyeballs in H lately. And work. And you can only talk about how great MM2 is for so long before there's really nothing left to say. And that's about where Mega Man is at the moment. Maybe we should change this to "Phoenix Wright Matrix" or "Dr. Who Matrix"? Then we'd have PLEANTY to talk about! But seriously, I'm really just not getting to a lot of forums as much as I used to. I have a LOT less free time than I did 6 years ago (hell I barely keep up with MY forums). But I do try to pop in and keep up. YOU'RE ALL LUCKY I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH.

Heat Man... >.>
Correct for 1. So you get half a Wily Fun Buck. "You can't beat Airman" was a dual reference to "you can't beat _______" in regards to something you like/something that's good (as in Air Man's theme can't be beat) and also more directly to Air Man the "I can't beat Air Man". Such a delicious double entendre. AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN CATCH IT.
